Ah, How laughable it is....

Lucas' last nerve had been broken, his eyes widened a bit, "You. Move. Aside. Now." He raised his right hand, snapping his fingers, "Guards!" He called, before sooner or later three royal guards reported, saluting, "My lord."

"This man seems to be refusing to allow me enterence into a room that my family owns. Now I am a reasonable person, just move aside. Now." He spoke firmly, he himself had broken all of his attempted niceness.

"Sir, just move out of the way." One of the guards mumbled.

A smile crossed the man's face and he stood aside to allow Lucas into the room. Yuu sighed and took his feet off the bed. "Jeez, dealing with you is exhausting. How anyone manages to put up with you is a mystery to me." Standing up, he reached over to the other man, who had dark hair, dark eyes and a rather nasty looking scar across what would have probably been an average face otherwise.

Tying it to his belt, he gave a nod to his men, "But alas, you'll have to go to bed without me darling. As you can recall I woke up not too long ago. And I'm going to go train a bit with my men. So, don't wait up, and sleep well." He said as he walked over to the door and tried to ease himself past the group.

Lucas' anger only peaked at his fiancé's remark, how could anyone put him with him? Oh, how dare he...

"Yes, how could anyone out up with me, because I'm so hard to get along with, I practically try to make you feel comfortable, and confidant in yourself, maybe you don't get a praising every-so-often from where you're from, but here it installs a sense of confidence," he waved his guards off, the two nodded, and left without speaking, knowing a rant was coming, "But no, I'm the unbearable one, I've been nice, and sweet—maybe a little overly nice, and sweet by your standards, but Its the thought that counts, and you have only been rude, rude, and rude." He took a smal breath to relieve himself from ranting more.

"And yes. I'm fine with you doing whatever you're doing...need I ask for a little compliance? But, I may never get what I ask for because you're to closed minded, so, I leave with a 'good night', my love."

The last part was a little sour, but he controlled it for the most part.

He turned, and finally waked back down the hall, to his quarters, his mind nearly blank, he didn't want to turn it into a soap opera, but there was no better way to convey how he felt.

So the man had fire after all. Yuu had been impressed. At least until those last two closing words. Ah, he's still hellbent on that love crap.

"Your bride seems to have a personality all his own."

"My bride is a man. That is a story in and of it's own sort. This country is weird." Yuu sighed as lead the way out of the room. He knocked on the door to the room next to him, to collect the rest of his men, before they all made their way out to the training field. Ugh, this is pathetic. No wonder their military force sucks. Where was all their training equipment? He'd also heard they sparred with blunt blades. How was that going to get any man prepared mentally to fight for his own life, not to mention the men fighting alongside him, and the people awaiting their return from battle.

Lucas closed the door behind him to his chambers, a deep sigh leaving his lips, "I swear, he's trying to give me an aneurism..." He whined, walking over to the bed, and sitting on his side, beginning to take off his shoes, and socks. "What a happy bride I'll be..." His voice picked up another sarcastic tone, holding it en pointe.

He took off his shirt, tossing it over to the dirty clothing bin.

"I mean, he's not bad...just...a lot of stress...a lot of stress. I'm sure we'll be just like mother, and father..." He spoke as he slid his trousers off, leaving his charcoal black underwear on, tossing it like a robot over to the bin.

"Just persevere...it seems he's just trying to give me terrible anxiety, or paranoia...or just any other thing he can imagine." He looked down at his creamy white body, throwing the white, thin bed spread over him, than taking the heavy covers, and lugging them on, rolling on his side, facing the rest of the bed, he decided not to set up the border...maybe some contact tonight won't hurt.

As each of the men took their starting stance, their blades were unsheathed. From a distance you could hear the metal clash, and with the silence of the night, the clanks only echoed through the nearly empty grounds. He noted a few guards passed them frequently, but it seemed like the same guards each time. Maybe they were bored and wanted to watch a real fight for once.

Their training session lasted late into the night. As it came up on what was probably close to two in the morning, he called the session to an end. Telling them to go get cleaned up, and get some rest. He'd actually given it some very serious thought whether or not he would sleep in the barracks with his men or go back to the room where Lucas was probably sleeping.

He was still debating by the time he finished washing off in one of the bathrooms he'd managed to find. Making his way up the tower he complained to himself the entire way there. Was it too late to turn back? This was a lot of stairs. But he finished his trip up anyways. He nodded at the guard standing by the door who in all honesty look entirely bored, and went inside the room.

Lucas, the over-worked prince was In a state of relaxation, laid on the bed, facing the rest of the bed; the poor boy had tried to stay up, and talk to Yuu about their earlier...encounters. He wanted things to work out, but he wasn't entirely sure about it now, he knew if he would push away too than nothing would work, but maybe if he continued to beg the man would simply get too prideful, and wouldn't try to talk to him about fixing a happy marriage...this was more complicated than he expected.

The room was dark and quiet. But that was to be expected. His newly betrothed laid in the bed, facing the opposite direction. With a yawn, Yuu shut the door quietly, and walked over to the chair in the room. It was as luxurious as the bed was, or at least it looked just as luxurious. Sitting down, he unlaced and pulled his boots off, put them just under the chair, being careful not to disturb the other while he slept.

Sitting back in the chair, he sighed quietly, placing the sheathed blade across his lap. His head rested against the back of the chair and he crossed his ankles. It only took a few moments and he was out, quiet snores filling the air around him.
