Question: are you playing it in such a way that SHIELD doesn't know that the eyes are actually in a person?

Not really, just in a way they aren't telling Clara they are and/or they don't have enough Intel as Jin's father kept her hidden and when Jin did surface, she was taken (I hope I remember right) which didn't give SHIELD the chance to find out whether or not they were implanted or just stolen.

Your most recent post calls Clara an 'Inhuman'. Not only am I unfamiliar with this concept, but it doesn't mention anything about it in your character sheet so I'm very confused.

That's understandable. I'll explain as best I can whilst not releasing Spoilers.


In the show Agents of SHIELD, the second season focuses more on what's called Inhumans. Skipping a ton of spoilers, they basically have abilities that can range from...well anything really. In this case, Clara, being an Inhuman, is Telekinetic. she can move any object with her mind but it comes with a cost. The object in question needs to be in her field of view and manageable to lift. For example, she can't just lift an Aircraft Carrier like she would with lifting up a book.


It's pretty hard to explain if you haven't seen Agents of SHIELD. I'd recommend seeing it as it expands the MCU outside of the movies and is genuinely really good.

And I just realised about the CS. That's my mistake, apologies. I meant to add it in but as that CS is a base template for these kind of RP's, I guess I forgot to include it. Again, apologies.

I had started laying out a plan for plot stuff based on the belief that Clara was a normal human because there was nothing ever told to me that led me to believe otherwise. My next post might be a while because now I need to change what's in those boxes to the point where it actually poses a challenge for our characters when it comes into play.

I wasn't meaning to make you feel bad and I'm sorry about that. I was just trying to be honest and I struggle a lot with surprises when I'm trying to create cohesive stories.

I'm not sure. I really wasn't prepared to make any "super villains" and I feel like the minute one of our characters becomes "super", then its almost necessary.

Well if it helps (doubt it would), she isn't overpowered and I do everything I can to avoid remotely touching GodModding. Like mentioned before, she has limits. Also, the Villain in this case, doesn't need to be Super. I don't know what you had planned but this is literally an example, due to the advancements that made Jin have the ability to see, this was, I don't know, somehow taken to the next stage and someone went crazy with modifications.. Hmm, that actually sounds stupid.


To make it easier, I'll put her as Human and not fully edit everything I've posted but remove/tweak what was input as Inhuman.

All I had planned was biological hybrids... humans with splices of animal DNA that made them different and in some ways minimally enhanced but nothing that even someone like Black Widow wouldn't be able to handle.


I'm not sure if you're intending on making changes or not and I don't mind either way, but if you're not going to make changes, then I need some suggestions on antagonists because I've got absolutely nothing in my head that works as an adequate challenge to a telekinetic that doesn't also kill Jin on sight because Jin has no physical enhancements at all beyond her eyes which don't help fight.


The problem isn't buffing up the hybrids at all. The problem is creating a villain that can be a challeng to Clara while also not having that same villain be able to pulverize Jin on sight.

Edit: Ok, just going to make her Human. Will be easier and this way we can go with what you had planned the first time. Just respond on the main thread as you would have and I'll do the changes when I get a second.
