Realistic or Modern Age of Vikings (Always Accepting!)

Magnus had taken her by surprise, she had frozen when she heard the creaking of the door, relaxing only after Magnus had wrapped his arms around her. "That girl" she growled, "I thought of her as a friend, but her mouth..." she thought back to her words, no one had died because of her, both men were alive and recovering. She leaned her head back onto Magnus' shoulder letting out a sigh, "what are we to do now?" She tiled her head to see Magnus' face.

@John Raptorfist

"Azura?" He inquired. "I think you'd be happy to know that I kicked the ever-living gods out her just to entertain Hakon." Magnus said with a chuckle. "As for what we are to do now..." He grinned, leaning down to kiss the woman's neck. "I have a few ideas myself..."

Azura grinned as he took the vodka bottle from her loose hands. Azura frowned, looking up in thought at his question, she thought of the people that would probably die in this war she was about the bring. Astrid especially. The thought of Astrid made her mad, the fact that Astrid had called her a slave had completely blown Azura's small hint of trust away. Azura sighed before replying "I don't know yet. I'm not one to risk my life for a cause." Azura said in all seriousness, her face burrowed as if still thinking.

Aron looked off at the open sea as she drank, giving a nod to her words before he spoke back to her. "Well.. Going to have to ask one favor of you, then." He paused, looking back to her with a smile. "Let me do the talking." He finished with a chuckle, sitting up a bit against the ship as he shifted his position, making room right next to him, "I the only one who wants to embrace being alone at sea?" He finally asked as he grinned over to her, his arm resting on the side of the wooden hull.

Inghard had slept in the longhouse's main chamber last night, and it had never been a better rest. To be home was truly amazing, and he could never remember a time he had felt so rested. Not the kind of rested that came with a good night's sleep, but the kind of rested that came when he no longer felt the need to go anywhere. For the last two years he had wandered and suffered hardship because he had nowhere else to be.

Things were different now. He could rebuild Hagevik, and with King Agnar by his side they could raid England and afar. The priest spoke of a land of Frankia, and Inghard wanted to travel there too.

Rolling out of the bed, he slowly stood, before exiting the longhall. Hakon's head adorned a spike outside, and his body had been thrown into the river to rot away. His soul would find little peace, at least for the moment. Inghard wondered if he was in Hel's hall, suffering from a dreary afterlife. Perhaps Odin saw fit to take him to Valhalla. He would not be surprised. He hated Hakon, but the man could fight.

He looked up at the severed head, the swollen tongue sticking out of the gaping mouth. He scratched at his eyebrow and looked at one of the guards. "Take it down and burn it. Toss the ashes to the wind," he said, before going back inside to see Agnar was awake.

"So what now, my king?"

@JacobLoL

Azura scowled, clearly drunk now. "I can talk!" Azura objected, she swayed slightly as she sat, nearly falling on Aron. "I-I am peerectly fine to speak to-to-to um... What's his face." She said with a drunken grin, her speech slurred. Azura giggled, she was sooo drunk.

@northguy

Aron simply wrapped his arm around the shoulders of the woman, letting her lean on him. He shook his head at her words, glancing out at the sea. "You could talk but, my plan has some more details." He winked as he leaned back against the hull of the ship with her, taking another swig of the vodka. "Though you will need to translate.." He finished, resting his chin upon her head.

@DarknessSpirit

Azura leaned against Aron's chest smiling, starting to feel tired herself. "Don't worry, I know how to speak the Kings language." She murmured softly. She grinned "What's your big plan?" She said grinning stupidly. She was drunk, but because she had stopped drinking, the alcohol was slightly wearing off. Azura frowned "You better not kill the king because that's just a whole new thing" she said matter of factly.

Aron cracked his neck as she spoke to him, leaving his gaze on the blue sky above. He rested a hand on her hip as the ship gently sailed, coughing as he spoke up again. "I'm going to get an army." He said briefly with his eyes half-lidded, his other hand rested on the edge of the ship. He finally set down the vodka with a brief sigh, bored.

Azura raised her eyebrows at Aron's statement, she turned around and looked at him confused "Your going to get an army, or your going to lead an army?" She asked curiously in a serious manner. Azura furrowed her brows, she wondered why he wanted to fight.

@northguy

Astrid giggled, "and what's that?" She teased letting Magnus kiss softly at her neck. She closed her eyes, letting the feeling relax her. She turned around to face him, staring into his blue eyes. Astrid wrapped her arms around his neck, pulling him in for a kiss.

@John Raptorfist

"Heh...I was thinking about taking a tumble in the old earl's bed, eh?" Magnus mumbled through Astrid's kisses, a devilish grin upon his face. The swede then scooped her up in his arms, it hurt like hell from the injury, but he carried on. They soon reached Earl Hakon's old living quarters, a small fire was already lit, maybe by a slave. The bed as enormous to say the least, far larger than Magnus's old one. He gently dropped Astrid onto the furs that made up the blankets of the bed, flopping onto it himself. Magnus quickly slipped his shirt off, tossing it aside a revealing the ugly wounds on his shoulder and ribs.

@Sharkiee

She grabbed at the fur, covering herself up, "Magnus! what if someone saw us!" she snapped, her face burning as she glanced around, trying to hide her grin behind the bear pelt. As he took his shirt off her eyes fell onto his wounds, she scooted forwards reaching out to touch it. "Does it hurt?" Astrid asked, obviously it did. She traced her finger along his shoulder, "I'm glad you ran" she admitted, "I don't know what I would have done"

@John Raptorfist

Aron reached to his side to grab some water, taking a swig of it as he glanced between Azura and the ship. "I'm going to do both." He said with a chuckle, keeping his arm around her. He let out a silent yawn as his blonde hair rested against the wood of the ship. He paused, glancing back at Azura, "So, when're you going to kiss me?"

@DarknessSpirit

"Not everyone watches people's intimate moments from a safe distance like Agnar does." He chuckled, amused at his own joke. "If they had any sort of decency, they'd leave." Astrid the reached out to touch the newly cauterized wound. "Well, of course it-ow!" Magnus winced pulling away slightly. "So now you agree with me?" He said in a kidding manner, reaching out to touch a strand of her russet hair.

@Sharkiee

She pulled her finger back, staring at Magnus, "Sorry" she mumbled, still staring at the wound. "I wasn't going to hurt you out there" she frowned, "not that I could" she looked down at her hands, she had tried her best, but still she had to be saved by Agnar. She looked up at Magnus through her eyelashes, "Would you have let me?" she spoke softly, pulling the fur up to her shoulders, keeping herself warm.

@John Raptorfist

"I could never bring myself to harm you, Astrid. So yes." Magnus sighed, laying down with a huf. Magnus just looked at the ceiling for a while before shooting back up, stands of his blonde hair falling over his face. Magnus brushed them out of the way as he scooted up to Astrid, who had a fur draped over herself at this point. He leaned in a kissed her on the lips. He couldn't seem to get enough of her.

@Sharkiee

Azura tilted her head with a smile, she put her finger to his lips "I will kiss you, when I know your not going to die on the war we're about to start" Azura said softly.

@northguy

Aaron chuckled as he pulled her much smaller body up to his chest, giving a brief grin as he spoke. "I tend to live through what I shouldn't." He spoke as he softly grasped the back of her head, bringing their mouths together deeply. Being who he was, he wasn't the type to make small acts of romance.

Azura's eyes widened in shock for a moment before closing her eyes and kissing him back deeply. She actually tended to be a great kisser, Azura had never kissed anyone out of true feelings until now. Azura pulled away after the kiss with a grin "Don't get too cocky, war is war." She said in a scolding tone, although she was smiling.

Aron raised a brow back at her once they finished, glancing back up to the sky once more. "I'll always be cocky, Azura. " He said this rather blatantly, keeping his arm around her. "The only need thing I really need to start doing, is getting a bit more cocky." He winked to her as he rested his head back on the wood, wryly grinning.

Azura giggled, looking at him before leaning back down on his chest, resting her head on her shoulder. Azure said sighed, feeling safe in the moment, secure.

Magnus rolled off of Astrid and flopped onto his back, tiny beads of sweat running down his forehead. He stared at the ceiling for a while, panting, as the experience had been tiresome towards its end with his injuries. His icy eyes darted over to Astrid, his mind still fuzzy. The Swede looked but didn't speak, the only noise was their breathing.
