Age of Ultron

Serena smirked as she looked at him as her hand touched her face, but before she could say another word she heard another voice chirp up. It had Tony. She watched as he separated the two of them before crossing her arms. She looked down at Anushka's hands and saw that he was wearing a wedding ring on his finger. Well at least somebody loved him. A smile came over her lips as he called her 'моя любовь', before she looked over at Tony. "You have fun in the back," she said as she walked over to Kodiak's van.

"My name is QuickSilver," he huffed at the other Russian. He muttered to himself something rather inaudible before following his sister to the van. He had faith in Ana. He knew that if something happened she could fend for herself. Well that and he knew that he could be there for her in a flash if she needed absolutely anything. He still had a few thoughts in the back of his mind about her past but he knew that when she was ready to tell him about what was going on she would. His eyes remained on her as he walked to the van and shared his winning smile with her. This one was a bit more gentle than the other's though. Yesterday it had been all about trying to sleep with her but today he knew that he definitely had budding feelings for the young woman.

"And I'm a Captain," Steve said with a shake of his head as he followed Pietro into the van.

"Stop hitting on him Serena," Pietro hissed at her when she got into the van, "He's old enough to be your father."

"Please its harmless," she replied quickly before Tony got in. Her brother could be so naive sometimes. She wasn't doing this nonsense because she liked him, she was doing it to make Tony jealous. Duh.

Anaiah made her way to the back of van number two, with her head held high. She sat down besides a friendly enough looking Russian man, before two others slid in opposite her. Every single one of them was as big as the other, there was no black sheep. For a while, as the car started and the first five minutes, everyone sat in complete silence. One man kept giving her a look that confessed he didn't feel too comfortable with her near.

He looked like he was the youngest, because he was the only one without a receding hair line. He was bronzed, and his tourmaline eyes matched his complexion flawlessly. If she wasn't feeling so futile, she would have found him rather attractive.

Instead, she kept her glare harsh, to put the men at bay. Everything seemed to be going fine until the one next to the youngest said, "Как вы думаете, мы могли бы попробовать его на?"

The man beside her laughed, "Конечно , три против одного . каковы шансы , что она действительно может выиграть?"

There was nothing Tony hated more than not being shotgun on a normal day. Hell, he hated not driving. Seeing Serena in the front with a wanted fugitive wasn't exactly his idea of fun. Especially watching him place his left hand on her leg, rubbing it up and down, as he drove with his right, that made him feel sick the most.

This wasn't a good idea, he decided, and he wanted out, immediately. Drumming his hands on the side of the van, he eyed Cap and Pietro. For a moment he considered telling the others what kind of man Kodiak was, but he decided against it. Defeated he rested his head on the wall, and he slumped into his chair.

"Are your excited to see the big apple, Maximoff?" he decided to distract everyone. "What about you, Rogers? Missing home yet?"

Serena smiled as she saw Tony's face in the rear view mirror. It was nice to finally put the big time billionaire in his place. Even if they never slept together again he would learn not disregard her like that. Something told her that once they were alone, he try and say something, but she really didn't want to hear it. Was he embarrassed of her or something? Why couldn't actually talk to her when other people were around? It was annoying as hell.

Suddenly she felt a hand ttouch her thigh and she smirked up slightly at Kodiak. She gave him a wink before turning her attention back to the road in front of her.

Pietro's attention was so focused on the man that he almost missed Tony's comment to him. "The what?" he asked, "Big apple?"

"It's what they call New York in America, Pietro," Steve replied, "It's like a nickname."

"Why? Do they sell big apples there?" Pietro asked thoroughly confused.

"No...a writer back in the 20's called it that and now its a popular nickname for New York City," Steve explained.

"Pietro, Americans do stupid things. You just let them go and don't question it. They're answers won't make sense to you anyway," Serena replied back to him.

Tony laughed at Pietro's lack of knowledge. He had to admit, there was never a dull moment around with the twins.

"Yeah, the Big Apple," Tony confirmed, after Steve explained. "personally, I'm looking forward for some good American beer and burgers. Then maybe a nice woman to add to my collection. There is nothing quite like New York girls". He hoped that Serena could hear him from the front.

He saw what she was doing. She was using Kodiak to make him jealous. Well, two could play at the jealousy game. He would show her. Tomorrow morning he would wake up with a beauty in his bed, he didn't care who saw or heard them. He wanted people too. He was going to make her pay.

"Isnt stereotyping just beautiful," Stark returned, hearing her comment to her brother, before confessing,"you aren't wrong though. Americans, in general, do a lot of stupid things. Russians are worse though".

***

Her right hand had already slid onto her pistol. Did they forget that she spoke Russian, were they really that stupid or did they just not care? She was ready to defend against an attack. It just came much sooner than she had anticipated. The man behind her grabbed her arms. She made a shot, but missed. He pulled onto his lap, his body weight too heavy to push off. He wrapped his legs around her kicking ones.

The opposite man approached with no caution. He grabbed her hair in one hand, yanked her head back, and kissed her on the mouth. She bit his tongue, hard, and when he stumbled back she kicked him where the sun didnt shine.

The man behind her cursed under his breath. He pinned her onto the floor, but as he did so his grip loosened. She grabbed her pistol from the floor and shot him point blank. She turned the gun, and shot the other two without a single thought.

Jumping over the seats, she straddled the driver. She held her gun to his head with her right, and opened the door with her left. Without a thought, she grasped the roof and flipped her legs up to the top.She balanced. The van swivelled. Walking to the back, she gave herself a small run up. Then, launched onto the van in front. She wasted no time shooting the driver in van two. The vehicle went out to the side with a bang.

Pietro listened as Tony spoke and he crossed his arms. He was a little upset that he would just ditch Serena like that. He didn't really want her around him anyway but still he would never ditch Ana like that. How could he not feel a bit for Serena after a night like that? He pushed the idea of Serena and Tony together as he really didn't want that to happen, but he also didn't want his sister's heart to be broken either.

Serena's face dropped as she heard Tony speak about other women like that. Part of his collection? O like hell she was going to just be part of a collection. She let her annoyed expression fall into a slight smile before speaking again. "Really? Because last night you said I was amazing. I don't think you're New York girls can do anything quite like a Russian can," she replied making sure Steve could hear her.

Immediately Steve gave Tony an annoyed look and shook his head at him. "You're old enough to be her father, Tony!" Steve shouted at him as he rubbed his face. He could not believe the billionaire had gotten with Serena after he specifically had told him to steer clear of the two women in the house.

Pietro was about to chime in when he saw the van behind them sway a bit and he saw Ana in the front seat. In an instant, she moved herself to shoot at the opposing men as Pietro rolled down his window. He reached out and managed to grab her enough to pull her inside. "What the hell was that about?" he asked as he looked back at the van behind them that was now buried in the snow.

Zara shot Antonio in the back of his head. Pulling out her second gun, she aimed them both at the Kodiak. "You're outnumbered, keep driving," she hissed through gritted teeth. Her eyes swelled a little watery, she could feel a small tear on her cheek. She couldn't wipe it away, even though she wanted to. Her hands were blood stained. "Nothing," she replied to Pietro, "just nothing. God damnit, Stark. You could have told me". Her rose until it was a scream. Tears streamed her face.

She shot the wall by Stark's head twice. "You bastard. You actual bastard," she could hardly breathe now. Her face turned to Cap. "These men are fugitives. They escaped a death penalty for dick things like you know... murder, treason, oh and guess what? Rape".

"They had no plans on helping you, Stark. We aren't even heading towards the airport, check. Go on," She spat. Tony didn't reply. He didn't let her know, but he did check. Surely enough, she was right. His silence was an answer enough for her.

"Get out of the van, Kodiak," Stark stated woodly. There was no expression on his face, no tone to his voice. Everything about him was stiff. There was no way anyone was going to forgive him any time soon for this. "Now".

The van came to a stop on the highway, the man held his hands above his head, surrendering.

Pietro held her close and checked her over carefully. "Shhh its ok," he whispered to her as he rocked her slightly, "You're safe. No one's going to hurt you here." He brushed through her hair trying to calm her down. He wiped his hand over a tear on her face to wipe it away. He kissed her head gently and sent a glare in Tony's direction.

He watched as he got out of the van and he gently took the gun from Ana's hand. he cocked it quickly and shot the man in the back of the head. He wasn't letting him getting away with hurting Ana and putting his hands on his sister. He watched as the man fell to the ground in the snow and looked at Stark. "Why is it whenever someone I care about is in trouble you always seem to be behind it?" Pietro spat at him.

The Captain just shook his head as he got out and started to drive the van in the right direction towards the airport. "Tony what the hell were you thinking?" Steve snapped, "You literally put half the team in danger for what? An easy ride back home?"

Anaiah didn't answer anyone. After her rant at Stark, she felt drained. She couldn't hear what was going on, at all. After every battle, with the Avengers, they would always become reclusive. It was like her mind would be absorbed into a world of its own to numb any potential trauma. Right now, not only was she seeing this world of her own, she was living in it. Her eyes were open, glued to the wall, but she saw nothing. She could hear nothing.

Tony watched Ana with no words, just sloped into his chair. He hadn't meant for it to end like that. He didn't want Ana to be hurt. Ana was a little ray of sunshine, in the darkness of the Avengers team. Having joined when she was 17, she was like the daughter or sister most of the team had never had. He cared for her. Clearly, he just hadn't cared enough.

"Kodiak was a friend, okay?" Tony defended. "How was I supposed to know he would do that? I'm not psychic. Bulby is the magic one here. How come you didn't know?"

Pietro held her close as he rocked her and stroked her hair gently. He kept whispering quietly to her but she never said anything back to him. He sighed and continued rocking her as he shook his head at Tony.

"I'm not a psychic!" Serena spat at him, "And quit calling me Bulby. My name is Serena Maximoff. My other name is the Mirage. No where in my name or in my character am I a lightbulb."

She crossed her arms and muttered something in Russian. She was tired of Tony's arrogance. He just thought he could do no wrong and even after he just screwed up he was still trying to show everyone up. She looked out the window to avoid getting into it with the billionaire. It wasn't worth her time.

Memories flooding through her brain, broken but there all the same.

"Stop! Mummy, don't let them take me," the small child screams. "Daddy, they're hurting me".

The man runs out of the house, towards the people abducting his child. He is shot in the head, twice. The child screams and screams. She seems to think if she closes her eyes and screams loud enough, none of it will be happening. It's a nightmare, the same nightmare that she had told her mama. When she opens her eyes, everyone is still there. Everyone by her papa.

Her mama is now on the floor, she's tackled by a couple of men, much like what had happened to Ana before. The child screeches now, her lungs burning, and then the lights go out. She loses consciousness.

Ana had never even thought about having parents. She didn't remember them, so what was the point of mourning them? Now their faces were engraved into her head. If only she knew her mama's name. Her mama, who may still be alive somewhere.

Tony let out a grunt. Whatever. He didn't care what everyone thought of him. He didn't like them anyway. Everyone was disposable. Every man for themselves, that was his mantra. They knew that was his mantra, so why were they judging him now.

"Okay, mirage" he taunted, his voice mocking. A knife skimmed his face, stabbing into the wall behind him.

"Shut the fuck up, Tony. I'm sick of hearing your voice" Ana said, resting her head on Pietro's shoulder. "And I'm sick of hearing you harass, Serena".

Tony didn't reply. He would've, but he decided that she had been through enough. The car stopped.

"Я ненавижу всех" Ana mumbled through his chest. "но вы. я могу терпеть вас".

Pietro kissed her head carefully and rocked her. "Shh," he whispered as he rocked her, "You're ok. I'm here." He planted a gentle kiss on her cheek as he rocked her. He felt terrible seeing her in this much pain and fear. "I'm sorry I won't let this happen to you again," he whispered.

He looked at Tony as he started badgering Serena for more answers. Finally Ana had had enough of the two of them and finally scolded Tony for being an ass. She sent a knife or two into the car near his face. Finally someone managed to shut him up.

"I'm not psychic, Tony," Serena said rather plainly, "I'm sorry that you think I could have done more to prevent this but it's not in my cards. I was as blind as you were." With that she turned back around and focused on the scenery outside.

"Alright everyone just cool it," Steve said, "Tony messed up and he knows it. No need to point it out anymore. We'll head back home and everyone just go their separate ways and cool down until we can talk this out."

When the dysfunctional group arrived at Avengers tower, it was early in the morning American time. Nevertheless, all of the team sat prepared. Tony had messaged them ahead of time. Anaiah scanned the couch, searching for her two favourite people. Surely enough, they were there. Clint, he was okay!

Overwhelmed with emotions, Ana burst into tears. She ran ahead and threw herself onto the duo, who she never ever wanted to leave again.

"You look a right mess, little duck," Nat said bluntly, tucking her hair behind her ear. She hugged the younger avenger anyway. "Who's the company?"

Tony walked right ahead and slumped on the couch, he wasn't particularly bothered about seeing everyone again. He was shattered, exhausted, and just wanted to sleep. "The pain in the ass is Serena. The boy is... Wait, what's your name again?"

"The boy is cute. I doubt he'd be too easy to forget," Nat contributed, giving him the once over.

Anaiah tensed. "Where's Banner?" She asked, ignoring the comment, only now noticing his absence. Bruce was a quiet soul, despite his other self. He was introverted, but loved his team all the same - especially Cap. She could have sworn that he would have been the most desperate to stay up.

"He tried to stay up, but was falling asleep on his feet," Clint replied. He approached Rogers with a grin, and pulled him in for a hug. "It's nice to have you back, Cap". He then approached the twins warily. "It's nice to meet you two, when you aren't out trying to kill me". His eyes looked down to his still sore injury. "Oh, and I noted you're so enthusiastic to see us all, Stark. It's just great to have you back".

Natasha snorted.

The twins followed the team into stark tower. It was huge. They had never seen anything like it before. They looked around quietly as the team spoke to one another. However, the twins were drawn back to the group when Tony started talking about them.

"At least he called me by my real name," she hissed.

"My names Pietro...how could you forget me? I am a smoother and better looking Russian version of you," he replied before looking at Ana, "And I'm nicer. So much nicer."

Steve smiled slightly and shook his head as he hugged Clint. "Good to be back Hawkeye," he replied with a gentle smile, "These are the Maximoff twins. They'll be staying and training with us. They'll be a great addition to our team."

Pietro stayed close to Ana. He felt guilty for letting those things happen to her. He just wanted her to be happy and safe.

It was good to be home. Ana had never felt so safe. There was no security like the Avengers Tower. Moreover, it was even more reassuring that she was around people who would protect her till their dying breath. Her dysfunctional little family, the only family she had ever had.

She smirked hearing Pietro defend himself, and caught his eye as he glanced at her. "Definitely nicer," she added a little less audible, "but sometimes a bit more of a handful". She noted how much closer he was than before, and her small hand reached out to rub his arm.

"I heard that," Tony added from the couch, his arm covering his eyes like he was dying. "Everything, I heard it all. I'm really just feeling the love today. Never felt quite so special". Ana rolled her eyes, the inner dick inside of Tony was truly flowing today.

Natasha flashed Serena a small smile, having seen already how suspiciously close Ana was too Pietro. Nat could read Anaiah like a book, there was nothing she was missing. "Serena, right? I apologise for my friends behaviour. I'm sure you've experienced his wrath first hand".

"Friend?" Clint laughed. "Is Tony really friends with any of us?"

Stark clutched his chest, in pretence heartbreak. "Guys, you really heart me," he mocked. "I love you all, very dearly. However, it is time for me to hop off to bed". He rose from his chair. "Peace out".

Anaiah rolled his eyes, he could be so inconsiderate sometimes. She knew he was playing on the bastard vibes. He knew that's what people saw him as after today, so he played on it. If people wanted that, he would give them that. It was heartbreaking for Ana to see, because she knew that he really did care deep down under his facade. She also knew that he had feeling in the for Serena, feelings he was suppressing. He just didn't realise the long he pushed them away, the less chance he had of getting her.

Stifling a yawn, she rubbed her eyes too. "You know, it's been a long day. I'm kind of tired too. What's the sleeping arrangements, Cap?" She said, but glanced at Pietro. There was no mischievous intentions. She just felt a little safer having him near.

Serena glared at Tony and shook her head. How could someone be so annoying and yet so perfect at the same time. He had almost gotten all of them killed, he didn't really apologize for it, and he was still trying to stick it to her. Seriously?

"Wait you forgot to go pick up on of your perfect "Big Apple" girls," she called after him.

Steve shook his head before looking at the twins. "Come on you two. I'll show you to your rooms," he said gently before walking out and making their way down the hall. Pietro looked at Ana quietly with a face that's said 'I'll come find you' before following cap to the rooms.

Steve showed them to two vacant rooms in the same hallway together. "Here you go," he said gently as he unlocked them, "I'm right down the other hallway on your left if you need anything."

"Thank you Captain," Pietro said giving him a nod of appreciation. He liked a man of integrity. It was nice to see someone who still had good morals. With that the Captain strode away and Pietro looked at Serena. "No sneaking around with men," he said quickly.

"O please like I'd sleep with Tony after all that," she replied as she went to her room.

Pietro shook his head and set out to find Ana's room. Eventually he locate it and gave a knock on her door. "Ana?" He whispered gently.

Tony chuckled under his breath having heard Serena. She really was something else. It was like he had met his perfect match. Well, she was a bit more tolerable for the rest than he was. Still, they were a match made in heaven. It seemed like that at least.

When he lay down in bed and closed his eyes, too lazy to have took off his clothes, he pictured the night before. He wished to relive it in his dreams. Images of her flashed through his mind, and he smiled to himself content. Tonight would be a good night of sleep.

Ana had already showered and changed, into an actual set of underwear and branded nightgown, when Pietro knocked. It felt so nice, so much looser, that she couldn't help but relax. Pulling her hair out of her ponytail, she mumbled, "come in". Her hands combing through any new knots, she turned and smiled upon seeing him. "You have a death wish". A laugh escaped her mouth, "but it's nice to see you".

She sat on her bed, her legs crossed, and observed him. How did he manage to be so flawless always? Today had only made her admire him more, seeing how he cared for her. How he had protected her, and held her when she was upset, was incredibly fabulous. She bit her lip anxiously, and pulled up the blanket. A feeling of deja vu washed over her. "You can join me if you want, I'd like it" she said. "I really am going asleep though, seriously".

Serena showered off quietly. It was the first time in a few weeks she had gotten a real proper shower. Hydra was selective about what they allowed their agents to do and what they weren't allowed to do. She dried off quickly and pulled on a big shirt and a pair of underwear before she snuck out.

She checked to make sure Pietro was no where insight before he made her way quietly through the hallways. She wanted a word with Tony. Sex was completely off the table but she wanted to know what the hell was going on between them. And if he didn't know then fine but she wanted to hear it for herself. She finally found his room and knocked on his door before walking in. "What the hell Tony?" she said as she crossed her arms, "What the fuck is your problem?"

Pietro shook his head and walked in and hugged her. "I'm so sorry all of that happened to you," he said quietly, "I should have been there to protect you. I was stupid to trust them with you alone." He held her close in his arms before releasing her. He smiled at her slightly and scooped her up in his arms. He turned her lights off and laid her down in bed. He took his suit off and laid down next to her before taking her into his arms. He had never felt like this before. She made him feel full inside. "I really am sorry, Ana," he whispered.

Stark thought that his dreams had already begun. He could see her in his mind, in all her glory. His eyes trailed her from head to do. Never had he ever had a dream so vivid. In fact, now he was even hearing her. Yet, wait, she was not talking dirty to him like she would in his dreams. She seemed to be scolding him. Tony rubbed his eyes. This was no dream. Funnily enough, it wasn't a nightmare either. This was real life, unfortunately.

"Wait, what?" He asked, propping himself up on his pillows so that he could see her better. He narrowed his eyes. "What are you going on about?" His voice was hoarse, it revealed how truly exhausted he was. Despite the fact he wanted people to think a certain way about him, Tony was still a human. He had feelings, and right not he felt tired, hurt, and alone.

He knew what she was on about anyway. She was on about the fact that he had been such a prick after having slept with her. What did she expect? Did she think that he was going to swoon at her feet because of one simple night? He was Tony Stark, the biggest bachelor the girl knew. Of course he had felt feelings for Serena, feelings much deeper than normal, but who needed feelings? They made a man weak. He would have no weaknesses.

Anaiah leaned forward, resting her head on his shoulder. Her small hand trailed his torso then rested there. "Pietro, hush," she placed a finger to his lips, pursing her own. "I'm a big girl," she replied, "I've taken care of myself for eighteen years. You are under no obligation to protect me. это нормально , сокровище".

She raised her head a moment, so that she could face him and observe his expression. He looked so incredibly fustrated, and so cute. Absentmindedly, she wrapped her arms around his neck, and pulled him close enough. She felt so comfortable, safe and secure.

"Сладкие сны , Пьетро Максимофф," Ana responded by placing her lips onto his own, in attempt to remove his frustration. Then, keeping her arms around him, she rested her head on the pillow and closed her eyes. Tomorrow was a big day. Not only did she have to talk to Tony, but she had a six hour training regime to start.

"You sleep with me and then act like I don't even exist," she hissed, "That's what I'm on about." She crossed her arms at him and sent a glare in his direction. She was really getting sick of his attitude towards her. He acted like somehow he was better than she was and it really bruised her ego.

Her and Tony were more alike than she cared to admit. They were both cocky with big egos and neither wanted to cave for the other though both secretly wanted the other's attention.

Pietro listened to her gently and sighed. He couldn't help but feel responsible for her. He knew that she could take care of herself but that didn't make the situation any easier for him. He could tell that she had had an unhappy time in her life that had truly scarred her no matter what he told her.

He felt her lips touch his ever so gently. Her touch was perfect and tender. He held her body close to his as his arms moved around her and rubbed her back. He kissed the top of her head. "I won't let that happen to you again," he whispered.

Tony wished that he had some kind of magic so he wouldn't have to get up to address this problem. As a deep sigh choked in his throat, he rose from the bed and rolled his eyes.

"I'm sorry that you feel that way," he replied, before grabbing at her arm and ushering her out of the door, "but this," he gestured to his room, "this is Tony's happy place. Sleep on it, get over it. You'll be fine tomorrow". He closed the door in her face, and slumped against it.

His heart told him to open the door and let her in, but his head said no. Remember the last time you had loved someone? His brain told him. That feeling you got when you lost your parents, like you were being wripped apart limb by limb every single second of the day. Every breath you took was like poison, it burned your lungs. It hurt to be alive. Remember, Tony? If you let her in, physically and mentally, you risk taking that pain once more.

"Good night, Serena," he shouted through the door. "I hope you solve your problems and have a nice sleep. Goodbye".

Tony shook his head violently, like doing so would erase the image of her from his head. Her beautiful smirk, her flawless appearance, her attitude. Every time the image crept back, he would remind himself. He would remind himself of the pain and it would be destroyed once more.

Serena glared at him for a moment as he spoke. He was quick to move as he took her arm and led her out the door. Before she knew it, it had closed in her face. She scoffed at his words. So this was Tony Stark's happy place. Psh like hell it was.

She let one of her hands flame up and let disintegrate the door as Tony fell back on the floor near her. "Remember this is the Avenger Tower. No privacy," she chirped at him with a 'know it all' smirk, "And that explaination isn't good enough so why don't you start talking, Mr. Big Time Billionaire."

She wasn't about to let him take the easy way out for this. She wanted answers and she wanted them now and she wasn't about to leave until she got them. She was just as stubborn as he was and when Tony wanted somethig he was a pain in the ass until he got it.

"Where's your little New York girls?" she cooed at him, "How many of them did you collect tonight, hm? 5? 10?"

"Really?" He hissed, narrowing his eyes. "You couldn't have just opened the door and walked through like any normal person?" Stark rolled his eyes, and picked himself up from the floor. He found himself make his way back to bed, and lying down. He leaned back on his elbows.

"If you're trying to be kinky, it's really not working. This whole 'I'm the boss' idea you have on, it's really turning me off," he taunted, fake yawning. "And yeah. There isn't much privacy in here. So, carry on with your big bangs and slams and someone's gonna come running in to knock you out". He shrugged. "Don't blame me when I say I told you so".

Tony was just winding her up, because in reality he didn't have much to say. He was, under no circumstances, about to pour out his heart to this girl. He wasn't going to confess that he really liked her but had mummy and daddy issues. He and her were both as stubborn as each other, and they were going to be there all night.

Serena glared at him and rolled her eyes. "Yep I could have," she said sarcastically before walking back into the room, "Anyway trust me sweetie, if I had wanted to be kinky, you wouldn't be wearing anything right now. Besides I've taken sex off the table because you are just so fucking frustrating. You sleep with me and then act like I don't exist, you're rude to me then almost get me killed. Who the hell does that?"

Her eyes were hard on him as she watched him lie down on his bed. She didn't know what else to do with him. She had met stubborn guys before but this was starting to get ridiculous. "Trust me I know the effect I have on men, and I know I'm not turning you off, especially not after last night," she said with a slight smirk on her lips.

She wasn't a child anymore nor was she naive. She knew what men were like after a night like she and Tony had. They were the same as the women. Their minds were hook on one another and thought about each other just like a drug addict thought about cocaine. They were ingrained in each other's thoughts and if she was in Tony's as much as he was in her's, she knew she had him wanting her.

"Correction: you almost got yourself killed. You were the one eager to sit and be Kodiak's pet," Tony responded. He flashed her a million dollar smile, just to annoy her. "Anyhow, I didn't pretend that you didn't exist. I addressed you multiple times before. If you don't remember, I introduced you to Natasha," he said, "yes, I'm just that generous. I'm a busy man, as you can see".

Seeing her now was definitely anything but a turn off, she was right. Although he would hardly admit to it. To his advantage, his body was exhausted. It wasn't processes her cheeky smirk, or how she held herself in that sexy posture of hers. She couldn't play him. At least, not how she wanted. "Well, maybe you just don't have that affect on me, honey," Tony yawned, this time for real. "I've slept with plenty of girls. After a while, they just don't have the same significance".

True, that much was true. He didn't have to lie. Serena wasn't just any girl though, she was different. He did like her, he was hooked. She could be the person to provide light in what seemed to be an eternal abyss of darkness in his life, if he let her. He wouldn't though. He vowed it.

"I wouldn't have been able to sit by him if you wouldn't have called him in to help us in the first place," she replied sassily as she crossed her arms at him, "O you mean when you called me a pain in the ass? I'm not a pain in the ass, I'm the best thing that's ever happened to you." She brushed a few her blonde curls out of her face before walking over to him.

"You're not that busy, Mr. Stark," she replied as she put her hands on both his legs and leaned on them, "I have been with plenty of men too and I can assure you that they have all told me that I am irresistible. And I know that you're a fairly smart man so let's not kid ourselves when you say I don't have an affect on you." She smirked at him as she let her hands slowly slid off his legs and she stood upright.

"Or maybe you're just not as smart as I thought you were. I'll be in my room if you need anything. Down the hall to your right," she said before giving him a wink and walking out into the hallway.
