honestly, just go with whatever average the DM decides. It's not fuckin' worth it(And yes, I am genuinely angry lol)With my horrid Con save, I am almost afraid to make the Hit Point roll.
I guess it is trying to make up for my earlier bad rolls.
I added 1 to str and con to even them out.We are also supposed to get an attribute increase for level 4; what kind of numbers are we looking at for this?
Well, I think it depends what the intention of the "1d100" is - randomness or power up. If the point is for some characters to have improbably high hit points and for others to have kind of normal ones, then it works as is. If the point is for everyone to gain a lot of hit points with this level up, then, as D. Rex said, something like 10d10 would probably give better results (both from a statistical viewpoint and the results in the thread, haha).TyranntX this feels intensely unfair tbh. the roller is basically broken and totally makes it pointless to even try to make us strong cuz it's fighting us every step of the way
That's pretty much it. Going by this site, getting at least 50HP has a 72.5% chance from 10d10 versus the 51% from a 1d100. Of course, it's a lot harder to get 90-100HP with 10d10 (something like 0.001% or so, according to the linked calculator), but the minimum on a 10d10 is 10, while the minimum on a 1d100 is 100.By general rule of thumb. More dice equal closer to an average with less extreme results. 1 large die equals greater risk vs greater rewards.
Is the 1d100 for hp or something else?Okay, to answer a few questions.
Yes, the 1D100 IS for the new class you are being made to multi-class into. As for why a D100... There's a reason why Rotta was insanely powerful, and that's because normal men are not meant to face off against them. But now, you are all no longer considered "Normal". That "???" is akin to the same Strange power you saw Dexterous use to power up his breath attack, and how that woman was able to summon those boots for you all. Though what it does, Well you just have to try something you don't usually do and see (or wait until I explain later). so the 1D100 is just yet another buff given to you in game to help keep you all alive (Ironic given how you had to die to obtain it)
A friendly Reminder, the Feat tough not only does what it says in the PHB, but it also doubles your current HP on the level you take it (AFTER rolling to increase it, and only on the level you take it). It is also one of the few feats that stacks, meaning you can take it more than once.
Now If you'll excuse me for a moment. I need to read the IC
So, what kind of increases are we working with for our attributes for level 4?
Is the 1d100 for hp or something else?
Also, holy cow. Tough doubles hp AND you can take it more than once? One can get really tanks doing only that. Like REALLY REALLY tanks. If starting with 100hp. Taking it 5 times and you have 3200.
Is there a Con bonus to this hit point roll?
I'm guessing they're Ascended or something like thatYes, your Con mod plus your level in ??? (The name to ??? Will be made clear soon , unless you want to make some wild guesses as to what it might be)
I'm guessing they're Ascended or something like that
