Age of Heroes

Akira stopped glaring at Cedric and then out of no where, he and the others appeared in another room, he hears the bellowing of a golden haired man as he stares at the tip of his blade and replies "We are Heroes chosen by Crea to complete a task.. And you are?" The magical aura around them was intense. So much energy radiated from it
 
THE CORRUPTED ASCENDANT - II


The golden haired man lowered his sword, answering Akira's question, "I am Kirva, an Ascendant. The goddess had told me that you know what to do against Moya's reign. But before that, we must leave the Dungeons of Etheros. Prepare yourselves."


Seth looked at Kirva, surprised. He expected an Ascendant to look more...glorious, like a golden throne in the middle of an old castle. Nevertheless, he replied to Kirva, "I am ready whenever the others are."

Finally, there it was.


The aura of power had grown intense, and its source was just beyond the elegantly designed door. Confident the hallway to the door held no traps, Kinalt strode forward, his footsteps echoing loudly and ominously. Oddly, he could hear voices within. Robbers, perhaps? The thought crossed his mind to pray to Crea for guidance, but he quickly shook it out. He had lost his faith in her when his family was butchered. Preparing himself, Kinalt threw open the door, and was greeted with the sight of what looked to be adventurers, speaking with a golden-haired man.


That couldn't be right. Unless...


Kinalt quickly understood the situation. They were agents of Crea, blessed by the goddess herself. The lingering magic of a blessing from the goddess was something he knew all too well. With a hand on his sword, he moved deeper into the chamber, prepared for the confrontation ahead. It would take more than the blessings of the goddess to stop him, for his actions were fueled by grief and vengeance.


He would not fall here.
 
Rose was teleported and when it stopped she shook her whole body and stood next to Akira and flipped her silky hair out of her face still pissed of with Cedric and she smelled around undetected and finally said " Well well smell that Akira 7 people are in this room but I only see 6 of them and the last one just arrived " she turned to the golden haired man and said " expecting someone or he just traveling ? " Rose asked motioning with her thumb to Kinalts general direction

Akira looked up as Kirva lowered his sword, he was glad that they finally found an Ascendant. He the. Turns to Rose as he hears what she says "Well, I do feel another presence. But I cant actually smell it, my senses arent exactly at their strongest" he says looking at Rose, pointing to his sword to remind her that his dragon half is sealed away. He wraps his hand around the hilt of his katana as he says "Well, im ready to leave the dungeons now, but I fear that we may be caught up in a battle"
 
" Oh ya how could I forget what you did " Rose whispered and turned away looking in Kinalts direction and pulling out twin daggers that each had a foot long blade and she held the to where the blades faced the floor and she held her hands up near her face

"I'm ready." Starfire said ready to move on. She looked around at the others then crossed her arms. 'Man sometimes I really wonder how the hell I ended up doing this.' She thought to herself.
 
As the door opened, Kinalt was seen both by the Heroes and Kirva. Kirva said to him, "So you're the one who's been crashing around the place." He then created a shockwave towards Kinalt, throwing him to the wall outside the room. Kirva then turned to the Heroes and said, "Follow me. That'll just delay him for a few moments. He's bound to chase us again." He then moved towards the exit of the room and started to follow a specific untrapped path in the dungeons.


Seth saw Kirva's attack and was amazed by it. The force was strong, yet the movement was quick. So this is an Ascendant's power. He wondered. As Kirva had said, he followed him out of the room without a word.

Akira watches the attack in amazement as he thinks "That probably could have done damage to me in my Dragon form" he giggles as he gets excited, wanting to learn more about Kirvas power, the power of an Ascendant. He follows them out of the room with his hand still wrapped around his katana in case of attack
 

Rose followed close behind Akira hair flowing behind her and daggers in hand she laughed at the Accendents power she loved it

She saw the amazing attack. "wow" Then she started to follow the rest, but then stopped and noticed Cedric hadn't move yet. "Well come don't just stand there like dummy."

Rose walked up and grabbed his collar and dragged him to Starfire and dropped him their saying " He's all yours " and she went back to Akira

After Rose dragged him to her Starfire looked at him. "Cedric?" She waved his hand in front of his face. When he didn't respond she smirked then then gave him a nice punch to the face. "Man that felt good."

Akira turned to see Starfire punch Cedric in the face, he thought it was a bit childish. But he still found it funny "Nice punch" he says, smiling at Starfire and then continues following Kirva
 
Cedric stayed dazed fell on the floor and got a bloody nose. He was still looking at the being before him. He didn't even flinch or blink.
 
Landing after a brief moment of disorientation, Kinalt took a moment to observe the scene in front of him. For whatever reason, it seemed that two of the members of the group had decided to team up against a third, resulting in a punch in the face. Kinalt, however, had very different ideas. Taking the distracted state of the three to strike, Kinalt leapt forward and drew his sword in the same motion. With his sword angrily burning blue, Kinalt swung with in intent of severing the head of the male who lay on the floor with a bleeding nose.
 
Rose had rushed up with twin daggers and she blocked the swing and kicked him in the chest to knock him back she smirked and said " I don't think so " And she readied her daggers holding them upside down blade facing her arms with tips pointing down and she spread her feet right foot forward toe facing left, left foot back toe facing forwards and she slowed her breathing and swatches Kinalt with excided eyes

Cedric snapped. "There you are!" Cedric had his knife in his pocket got up and attempted slice up the swordsman's hand. Then he asked the weirdest question. "Anyone have a net." Cedric had a nasty plot because his head just told him something.

Kirva saw what was happening. Kinalt was already back and steady, and was striking down the Heroes. He shouted, "You cannot defeat him right now, just leave the dungeon!" , as he gestured them to follow him.


Seth did not mind all the others, but looked at how Kinalt striked. He was getting interested on fighting such a warrior. But, he had no choice but to follow Kirva out of the wretched magical dungeon.

Cedric started running because Seth wasn't lying. "Fine by me!" He tried stopping the bleeding from his nose as it was getting all over his face.
 
Rose moaned " I like testing myself....Fine ! " she back flippped putting away her daggers and turning around and chasing after Akira and the others

His sword glancing off the twin daggers, Kinalt backed off slightly, observing the male and female that had daggers out. He had hardly registered the kick to his chest, and had begun circling the group with his sword slightly raised.
 
Sheathing his sword, Kinalt observed as the last of the group fled into the dungeon. The dungeon itself was a labyrinth, but it wouldn't hold the Heroes for long. Walking down the hall at a brisk pace while removing a small rune from a bag strapped around his waist. Allowing Kinalt to communicate with both King Moya and the mages within his company, the rune emitted a faint red light and hummed slightly. For a brief second, Kinalt hesitated with the small runestone, stopping in the middle of a vast hallway. With a heavy sigh, Kinalt crushed the rune, letting the dust disappear within the expansive darkness of the dungeons.


For the Magus, the runestone growing hot meant that something within the dungeon of Etheros had gone wrong. Signalling the rest of the men in Kinalt's company, the soldiers formed a semi-circular shieldwall around the entrance to the dungeon, with mages and archers prepared to unleash a rain of fire and arrows.


For King Moya, the runestone glowing and becoming hot meant that something had gone terribly wrong within Etheros...
