Wasen't Onderon against the Sepertist?

It was after the Republic aided the Onderon Rebels led primarily by Saw and Steele Guerrera in 20 BBY. Before that , King Sanjay Rash seceded from the Republic along with the Seperatists. So for the first 2 years of the war (at least) , Onderon was officially affiliated with the Seperatist Movement.

The Clone Wars kind of whitewashes it and makes it look like almost the entire populace was against them other than Droid Army soldiers brought by General Kalani , the Super Tactical Droid General dispatched to help put down the Onderon Rebels. (I honestly wish the Clone Wars series would’ve drawn more parallels between the Seperatists and the Rebellion than they did. They made the Seperatists look a lot like the Empire , but with Droids instead of Stormtroopers).

Yes , but Epiphany’s CS alludes to that. After the populace became radicalized by the Republic (as Aymeline likely sees it and as it sort of was) she and her young child fled the planet.
