After Hours Bar & Lounge

In an unknown city somewhere in North America, lays an unknown street. And on that street sits a bar. Don't worry, though, for that bar is not unnamed like the others. It is the After Hours Bar & Lounge, a place where fighters from the Colosseum would come and share a drink and have small talk after murdering each other in said location. But on the wall opposite the counter is a plaque. On it are some words from the bar's founder himself.

'
So I had this crazy-ass idea today. I thought 'hey, where do the Colosseum fighters go after successfully killing each other? Like where do they go for their free time?' Those questions were in my head the whole morning. They soon lead me to start this. Welcome to the After Hours Bar & Lounge. Where fighters can come in to get a drink, fail at picking up girls and begin bar fights.'

Jack walks into the bar. ''Can't believe i lost... oh well'' He looks for a place to sit, luckily there's a bar stool. ''that's better''

Behind the counter stood the bartender. He looked normal, with black hair and brown eyes, and wore a sleeveless black jacket above a white long-sleeved shirt. "Rough match?" He asked. "What can I get you?"

"'yeah.. one beer please'' It was very peacefull in this bar, Jack could'nt stop thinking about his match with Christopher. How could he lose against a human? Maybe it was probably better not to think about it, after all the people back at Hell already told them it was a good match.

The bartender filled a pint glass with some beer, his name tag identifying him as Mark. He put it the counter in front of Jack. It was that moment when the bar's sliding glass doors parted, and a familiar soldier decked in dark orange armour walked in. He looked around the bar, as if admiring the place, before walking over.

"Vodka cranberry, please." He said, passing a silver credit chip to the bartender. Mark smiled. "Sure." He said, filling up a Collins glass with vodka, before adding a splash of cranberry juice and crushed ice. Satisfied, Chris sat down on a stool a little too close to Jack. He then looked over, as if noticing him for the first time. "What's up?"

''don't you think that your a little to close to someone you brutally murderd?'' backing away a small bit.

"What?" Chris asked, before realising. "You're still mad about that?" He chuckled. "We all respawn after getting killed, and the battleground resets after each match. That's how the system works." Chris said, before removing his helmet, revealing his spiky blonde hair and light brown eyes. He then took a sip of his drink. "By the way, I never really got your name."

''My name is Jack'' Now realising Chris seems actually nice he takes a sip of his beer. ''That armor of yours is frikking amazing''

Chris gave a small chuckle as Jack nerded out over his armour. "That's because it is. It's made from duratanium alloy, a material ten times stronger than titanium. The suit's inbuilt exoskeleton increases my strength by up to three times." He took another sip of his drink, before putting it back on the counter. Chris then stretched out his hand towards Jack. "It's Chris, by the way."

Chris looked around, before shaking his head. "No, not really. Besides, this place technically doesn't exist. It acts like a hub for characters created by the roleplayers to act in-character." He then leaned in really close to Jack. "You know, the giant people on the other side of the screen."

(breaking the fourth wall are we? xD )

''Other side of the s-screen?'' Jack was confused, was this guy pulling jokes on him? Or was he telling the truth?

"Yeah. Those guys." Chris said, before retreating back as if nothing unusual happened. "Welcome to the After Hours Bar and Lounge, where the people can come here to drink, pass out and repeat. And yes, the fourth wall is basically non-existent." He said, taking another sip from his drink. "You know, this place would be much more fun with a few more people."

Chris look intrigued. "Oh really?" He said, smiling. "Well, I just fought a time goddess, a cyborg and a demon-girl. Your move."

''hmm yeah i'm actually kinda new only had two battles'' Looks at his gear. ''It's busted.. shit!''

"Hey, me too!" Chris said. "In fact, my first battle was with you." He said, before taking on a puzzled look. He pointed at Jack's ruined armour. "Hey, isn't armour and gear supposed to repair and reset after a battle?"

''hmm this is stange'' he looks at Chris. ''i'm from Hell if i die i respawn in Hell i geus my armor could't withstand such heavy firepower''

Chris still kept his thoughtful look, before taking another sip from his drink. "Makes sense, I guess. Hey, I never really asked about your world. Mine doesn't have all this magic and stuff."

''well you really don't wanna be there... Demons,murder,Creatures... Everyday new people come in mostly people that were human before they died'' Jack shrieks he didn't chose to be a demon.

"Yeah, well in my world, we're at war with a hostile alien race, with massive space battles and whatnot. In fact, the war is still raging on now!" Chris said, taking a gulp of his vodka, not even wincing as the alcohol burned its way down his throat.

"war... i had to many wars on earth, heaven and hell... for what? destruction?'' He drinks all of his beer in one glock.

"No, your average sci-fi story. You know, aliens invade, people get probed, explosions, Michael Bay." Chris said rather plainly, taking another sip. "But in all seriousness, it all started because of a simple misunderstanding."

"Yeah, I guess. I'll never really know the conclusion, because Corrosion hasn't finished writing his book yet." Chris said, sighing. "I'm not even a main character."
