Realistic or Modern Aeliana Insane Asylum

Aᴇʟɪᴀɴᴀ Iɴsᴀɴᴇ Asʏʟᴜᴍ

They say the first insane asylum built similar to those today was built in the early 1800s, little do they know of the small hospital underneath Rome that was built in the year 704 BC known to native Romans as Aeliana Insane Asylum. Aeliana was a young woman, no more than thirteen years of age, who was called crazy by everyone. She heard things no one else could. She heard the blood pumping through her heart, her eyeballs involuntarily moving in their sockets, her bones shifting as she moved. Of course, these days we know this is a very rare disease called Canal Dehiscence Syndrome that is highly treatable, but back then she was just crazy. So she was locked up underground in a stone cave where she was left to rot. A century later, in 604 BC, another girl popped up who could hear the same things as the Aeliana from every child's bedtime story. She too, was placed underground, right next to the cave the original Aeliana rotted in.


It is now 1604, and the system of underground caves that have housed the supposed reincarnation of Aeliana every century, are used for anyone entitled as 'crazy.' The hospital is known as a legend, a story. Only those who live there and work there know it exists.


Chaos has spread through the hospital as it is an '04 year, the year Aeliana reincarnates. Do you believe the legend? The story? Or do you believe it is fake and that everyone is hyped up for nothing?
