[The Regal Rper]

In the distance of the snowy mountains, climbing along its side was a shadowy figure heading towards an icy entrance. The snow crunched underneath his soles, and his breath was heavy due to the altitude and oxygen levels but regardless he toughened through it till he finally reached the entrance of the cave. Upon reaching it, he noticed stairs. Took a minute to regain his breath then climbed up the stairs completely unaware of the voices that were with it.


Just my luck he thought with a scowl, glancing back towards the entrance. "Those frost wolves better have lost my scent." He grumbled hearing an icy howl from within the distance.

As Jekkel in the icy recliner, he heard something in the distance. It sounded like footsteps. Jekkel quickly put his finger over his mouth, he was trying to alert Lilly there might be Danger. Jekkel quickly unsheathed Alpha and Omega. There was a slight sizzle that came from the blades. Jekkel was standing at the top of the stairs, He was about to run down to confront the enemy when he slipped and started tumbling/sliding down the stairs. As he reached the bottom of the stairs he only got a glimpse of the intruders face, The man did not look too friendly but he kept on sliding then he slammed into the wall. "I HATE ice!" Jekkel yelled at the top of his lungs. After Jekkel little outburst he quickly got to his feet and stumbled once or twice on the Ice. The man had two blades attached to his back, He was a duel wielder like Jekkel. "What are you doing here?" Jekkel asked with great interest. Jekkel looked at the man he seemed familiar "Where have I seen you before" Jekkel thought to himself.

Slightly surprised by seeing someone move with their face on the ground was humorous if not to say confusing. It was only after Karl had heard the part about hating ice did he look at the strange fellow and take a tentative step back at the sight of the sword. Hearing his question made the stranger's eyes narrow though.


"I don't think we've met" he stated increasing his distance between him and Jekkel. A slight scowl was beginning to grow on his face, Just what I needed, hunted by a pack now attacked by this fruit loop.

Lilly ran after Jekkel when he slipped. She rushed down the stairs with an impressive speed managing to keep her balance and her grip on the ice. "jackal!" Lilly called worriedly. She found Jekkel struggling to stay on hid feet thanks to the ice, there was another man just in front of Jekkel. Lilly watched the interactions between Jekkel and the mysterious figure carefully. The mysterious figure stated that he'd never met Jekkel before baking away. The appearance of a new person unnerved Lilly a little bit, but being with Jekkel made her feel safer.

Jekkel looked at the man, swords, Scars, Mean looking face this guy could be a bandit for all Jekkel knew. Jekkel could not shake it out of his mind he had seen this man before but that did not matter know. "Who are you?" He asked while raising his swords.

Raising a sword wasn't the wisest of moves. Especially not towards Karl who was still a bit on edge after the whole running away from Frost wolves to this, Just what I need he thought with a grimace. And as if on cue the distant howls from those very wolves were growing closer to this cave.


Karl slowly withdrew Myelria from his back, not even bothering to give this person confronting him the choice of an answer.

Lilly rushed over to Jekken, she stood beside him. She was nervous of this figure but felt like she had to at least try to stop them. "Guys" She said loudly, trying to hide her nervousness from her voice. "Do you really have to fight?" She asked, her voice quivering from her nerves.

Jekkel glanced at Lilly "We weren't fighting we were just haveing a battle of stairs at the moment" Jekkel said jokingly. He noticed that the man drawing his swords after a howl of a wolf. "Is that for me or the wolfs?" he thought to himself. "Lilly get behind me now," Jekkel said in a calm voice. He could not figure out what this man was doing.

Lilly did as she was told, but she didn't want to be useless like she usually was. She closed her eyes and clenched her fists, desperately searching for the strength and knowledge to use her powers. She opened her eyes. Nothing. "Be careful" She whispered to Jekken before suddenly adding "Your highness" In an attempt to lift his spirits

When Karl saw the girl his pose tensed, but then the howl grew louder and in an instant his expression grew grim. Keeping Myelria by his side in one hand the stranger charged at the two, then jumped over them both before tackling something in mid air and landing with a thud.


It was a Frost wolf and both this stranger and the wolf were now wrestling as the rest of the pack soon entered and charged at Jekkel & Lilly, most of the others turning to attack the stranger who had now kicked the pack leader to the side and had his blade ready.

Jekkel looked at Lilly and gave a quick smile "Thanks, O knight" He whispered with a small smile. Jekkel glanced back to the stranger, He was charging right for them Jekkel pushed Lilly out of the way but the stranger was not going for them he was going for an Ice wolf. "Jekkel glanced behind him there was an entire Pack. The stranger went right into action Jekkel followed "Oye don't mind if I have some fun do you" He said jokingly to the stranger. Jekkel did a front flip and thrusted his two swords into a wolf. Another wolf came at him but Jekkel quickly kicked a wolf but another bit his leg. Jekkel screamed out in pain. Jekkel quickly stabbed the wolf . "Dang wolfs" He shouted

Lilly watched the fight helplessly, she wanted to be able to help, but she didn't know what she could do. Lilly had been lost in thought, trying to come up with a way that she could help when her thought process was shattered by the sound of Jekkel screaming. Lilly looked over at Jeckel worriedly. What sort of a knight if she couldn't protect her king? What sort of a knight was she if she couldn't even fight for her king? Lilly closed her eyes again, she focused on Jekkel's scream, then the pain in his leg. It was working, she could feel her abilities opening up to her when her state was interrupted as a wolf pounced on her, pinning her to the ground. Lilly let out a yelp as the wolf sunk it's teeth into her right shoulder, it had been aiming for her neck, but luckily for Lilly, she was squirming in an attempt to escape the wolf. The pain in her shoulder triggered something inside of her being, allowing her to access her abilities, without knowing what she was doing, her entire body erupted into flames. The wolf quickly let off her and ran away from her, it's fur smouldering. Suddenly, a wave of flames washed over the wolves. It didn't kill any of them, but forced some of them to flee. Lilly's body returned to normal and she raised her left hand to her right shoulder, blood seeping through her small fingers. Lilly fell backwards, landing on the floor slumped against the wall. Most of her top was soaked and stained a crimson red colour.

Jekkel was fighting more wolfs when he heard a blood-curdling scream he glanced to the left of him to find Lilly on the floor "LILLY" Jekkel shouted. He had no idea that she used her powers the only thing he knew was he need to help. Jekkel felt a surge of something, It was Courage strength and probably a little bit of adrenalin. Jekkel ran to Lilly and stood in front of her, "Everything is going to be ok don't worry." Jekkel turned around and a wolf was soaring towards him he quickly punched it down and thrusted his sword into the wolf's stomach. Jekkel felt bad for killing the creatures but there were beyond his control he could not calm them. Most of the wolfs were running away and the others were dead. Jekkel ran to Lilly, and ripped off his sleeve and quickly draped the cloth around her shoulder. "Don't worry there gone now"

Lilly's eyes had started watering, slowly tears spelled out of her eyes and glided down her pale cheeks as her brain started to catch up with how much pain she was in, and her adrenaline started to wear off. "Thanks" she mumbled, her voice shaking as Jekkel dressed her shoulder. "Sorry I wasn't any help" she spoke softly, her voice laced with tears. "H..." She paused for a minute, took a deep breath and started again. "How's your leg?" She asked worriedly

With the wolves gone Karl moved towards the entrance slowly his sword still out and checking all sides.


Nothing. Good, turning his attention to the injured two that had helped him he frowned. Dang it he thought. He'd come up these mountains to retrieve a rare item from someone and in the process of getting the item had ended up lost for the past few hours. When he came to this cave he hadn't expected anyone to be here but now look.


Karl sighed, sheathing Myelria before turning to his backpack and pulling out a large vial that contained a glowing orange-red concoction. "Hey" he called to Jekkel, when the boy had turned Karl threw the vial into his hands, zipped his backpack and proceeded to make his way towards the entrance.


Great he thought with a slight scowl, just what I needed. "Use it wisely, it's not cheap." He gruffly called as he began heading outside once more.

Jekkel looked back at the stranger, He caught a vail of an orange and red substance. "Thanks wasn't," He said softly. Looks like Jekkel was wrong he wasn't a bandit. "Sorry for threatening you earler, Just a little jumpy that's all." Jekkel poured some drops of the substance on his leg and poured some on Lillys shoulder. He looked at the stranger "So again what is your name?" he asked.

"Karl" he stated, still watching the entrance. "You?" he asked not turning his back towards the others but keeping them in his line of sight as he switched between the entrance and them.

"Jekkel" Jekkel cocked his head toward Lilly, "And her name is Lilly" He said while bent down and got down on the ground taking some deep breaths. "Again thanks for not killing us" Jekkel said with a chuckle. "Now you are here for a reason, Not to intrude or anything but I would like to know." Jekkel was a very noisy person and liked to know as much as he could get his hands on.

"I came here to take a breather from those things" he said in reference to the wolves. "But we already took care of them so never mind. Now if you're fine, I'm heading back to Candy Kingdom." Turning around Karl began moving, although from the way his back was facing the other two it was clear to see a scratch mark had been made on his arm as he turned. If it hurt or was deep he simply ignored it.

"Wait your potion." Jekkel tossed the odd substance to Karl. Jekkel heard Karl say he was going to the candy Kingdom, Jekkel pondered on this thought "Beats freezing are butts off here. Don't mind if we join you do you?" Jekke asked while getting to his feet.

Catching the rest of his potion Karl briefly gave it a glance and saw it was still half good. He simply slid the vial back into his bag before turning towards Jekkel and the injured girl. Hmm leaving them alone would be bad, especially since the girl is injured he thought.


"Alright fine. You can come, but keep ahead of me so I can keep an eye out on you and the girl." He stated, and with that he exited the entrance leaving the other two to catch up.

Jekkel picked up Lilly and walked out of the ice mountain. He walked a little ahead of Karl like he was told. It was after 10 minutes of walking Jekkel was bored out of his mind "Good Glob, Is there anything out here instead of ice" He said out loud. Jekkel was thinking of something to do to pass the time "So what was your pass like If I may ask I just thought it might pass the time.

Karl didn't reply. His mind was more focused on getting to Ooo than starting a conversation. He did however manage to catch some of what Jekkel said, but acted like he didn't hear it instead.

Jekkel assumed that he did not want to talk about it. Jekkel kept to the path it was finally starting to get warmer and the snow was slowly declining. "Ah warm air, That's nice.

Lilly had lost consciousness soon after Jekkel had poured the orange substance on her shoulder. She slowly started to regain her consciousness. She was were that she was moving, and it felt slightly warmer than it had been. Lilly looked up at Jekkel, realising she was being carried. "I-I don't mind walking" She said softly. She was worried about Jekkel, it was his leg which was injured after all.
