As Joshua landed on the ground, he looked to Ambrose. He flames began to to grow to a proud orange and yellow color. He yelled into the air, which only spiked the flames which engulfed his body to whole new limits. The ground beneath him, began to burn as well with every step he took towards Ambrose.

[Haruki The Lone Wolf]

*Due to the living conditions of the town, the houses were built from wood and stone. Haruki was impaled by the wooden debris in his leg and right hand*

Astra lay on the ground, struggling to breath. Of course she just had to say that. Look where he got them now. Sitting up with a cough, she glanced around to take in the damage. Seeing Haruki stuck in the house, she somehow made it to him without blacking out. She came rather close though. With a small squeak, she gently grabbed his hand. However, when she tried to call out for help, nothing happened. Simply no sound came out. Astra began to panic but instead worked on removing Haruki from the home.

Ambrose stumbled back. "D-don't go making decisions you'll regret! You can't survive the Dark Zone on your own, and my expertise in here will keep you alive!" She reaches into her coat and pulls out her rusty knife, ready to throw it at Joshua.

 

[Haruki The Lone Wolf]

*As Haruki is slowly pulled off the wooden stake from the house, his eyes slowly open and Haruki is awakened by the pain from the impact*

Joshua couldn't understand her anymore, he rushed in once more, with a bigger explosion behind this time, this was enough to shake houses within his vicinity. As Joshua got close to Ambrose, he jumped passed her and straight to Astra. As he reached closed to her, he sees the bloody and defeated Haruki, causing Joshua to immediately stop in his tracks.

An ear shattering howl was heard from just outside the town. Within the second, a large white wolf with green eyes had torn into the town leaving a trail of frost. The wolf dashed past Ambrose, nearly crashing into her. Then she stopped near Astra and the two had a silent conversation.


"Near death."


"Yep."


"Can we save him?"


"He's important to you?"


"Yes. I can't exactly call for help 'cause flame over there did something. Whatever you do, don't let Haruki get hurt."


"Alrighty Astra! Then we can go garbage hunting!"


"HEY! Not funny!"


The two had a silent staring competition before taking defensive stances.


"Alright Joshua... If you want him, you have to go through us."


The wolf snarled in agreement, creating a pool of ice around the two for effect.

(sad part is Joshua was calming down too oh well time to fight )

Joshua's worry was soon turned into blood boiling anger, Joshua quickly dashed in between them and set forth blasts to separate them from each other and go and attack the whole while it was alone.

Astra and the wolf quickly ducked out of range, preparing for an attack. Astra grabbed her new knife while the wolf raised it's paw to shoot a blast of ice.

Joshua blasted himself into the air, he would end this now. Propelling himself straight into the ground, he would explode not only himself, but everything that was intact in the village. He yelled one last roar that began ripping the vocal cords in his voice. His flames soon shined brighter than the sun as he as about to land into the ground.

Astra and her companion exchanged a glance and decided.


"Only one way."


"Gods da****. I have my pride you know"


"Well, you know, we can all just die for your pride."


"I hate you..."


With that Astra got on her knees and sort of looked up. "L-look Joshua, she was wrong. You needed to do that. But you're gonna kill everyone. Even the ones who helped you. She could deal if it were just her, but you're gonna destroy everything! Please, she's sorry!" The wolf spoke, using her companion's voice.

Joshua stopped right before he touched the ground , he soon calmed down and stood near Haruki looking at him. Joshua's flames soon receded and tears went down his eyes,"I...I'm sorry guys" Joshua spoke while trying to keep his voice from breaking on him. He walked over to Astra and put his hand on her head, "thanks for stopping me kid" Joshua stated while walking down the burnt village road without stating another word. He promised himself he wouldn't let go again, though here he was in this situation.

 

[Haruki The Lone Wolf]

*Haruki struggles but waddles over to Joshua, while leaving a wide trail of crimson blood, and with the last bit of strength, he punches his chest and says "If you're the commander of this party, why would you try to kill us? I really admired you but I guess i'm over thinking things...*Haruki continues to bleed out, as his wounds are untreated he collapses on the floor, right next to Joshua's legs leaving him to his last "doom".

 

[Hephiest]

Ambrose puts a hand on her hip and wipes the figurative sweat off her brow. The party was spared, and violence towards her was kept to a minimum. "Well now that this entire fiasco is all settled, why not, you know, leave this town behind, and maybe set up camp somewhere?"

Astra whimpered and crawled over to Haruki, tears in her eyes. She desperately wanted to speak, and probably would hold a grudge against Joshua for crushing her vocal cords, but for now she needed to focus on her friend. Waving her arms frantically, she gestured to Haruki before cutting off a strip of her shirt to create a tourniquet.

Joshua sat near the child and put his hand near her throat and began messaging it, "Its a trick i learned from a monk i met a century ago, you should be able to speak when i finish" As he spoke, he quickly applied pressure to her throat and rejuvenating the wind pipe and vocal chord. He then looked to Haruki, and quickly took the wolf pelts from the party inventory and covered his wounds, "The witch doctor should be around here, Ambrose search the edge of town." Joshua spoke and he applied the the wolf pelt to the wound, "Don't apply the tourniquet unless you plan on cutting off the limb or blocking an artery. The wound isn't that bad yet." he warned Astra as he felt guilt in his heart.

Astra coughed as he massaged her throat. Though it certainly worked. "T-that's useful... And I think your pelts are offending Yasero..." (Yey-Sey-Row)
