Hey, everyone. I'm new to this forum, but I've been on the RP scene for well over a decade. So, since I find myself without any partners right now, I thought I'd give RP Nation a try. (:
I'm obviously looking for some one-on-one partners, and I'm only interested in something advanced. To me, that means a strong grasp of English and the creativity and motivation to create posts with both quality and quantity without being pointlessly verbose. I have a bachelor's in English, with a concentration in writing, and I'm an aspiring editor; the written word is very important to me, and I hope it is to you, too. I don't like constantly reading novellas with pages of extraneous detail; just put some thought into what you write, as well as due effort.
At this point, I have a little list of fandoms, and that's pretty much the extent of my interests for now. I'll consider something in the medieval fantasy or sci-fi-ish mode, since I'm currently working on projects of my own in them, but my preference will always be the list provided below.
I only do MxF, and I do have limits: I don't do "mature" content for the sake of jollies. Plenty of very good, very compelling stories don't have gratuitous intimacy or /Saw V/ scenes. I'm all for couples and conflict and danger and adventure, but if what you want is bordering more on R than PG-13, look elsewhere, if you please.
I'm willing and more than able to double, and it would be best if you had the same inclination. Chances are pretty good that your first pick won't be the perfect character to pit against mine. If it is, well, dandy. But I don't expect it, so do come prepared.
Good grief, I've rambled on. -.- I'm sorry. Ah, well. To the list! Topics periodically change and are listed in order of preference. My character is in parentheses. A "%" means that I don't like OCs. When OCs are used in the others, I REQUIRE a canon be played, as well.
* Tales of Symphonia%(Raine)[Huge craving. If you want a forever friend, this'll get you one. Looking for someone to take/double as Regal.]
* Star Trek: Voyager(Janeway)[Looking for someone to take/double as Chakotay.]
* Hogwarts Present(OC teacher)[Looking for someone to take/double as Remus.]
* World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King period(TBD)
* Fullmetal Alchemist, Brotherhood or original series(Riza)[Looking for someone to take/double as Roy.]
