Appearance:Short brown hair with a reddish tinge, droopy almond shaped brown eyes, rather plain to look at, approx. 188 cm


Primary Fighting Style:Fights with a single-edged, curved sabre, styled after the swords used by horsemen before the flood, known as a kardja


Secondary Fighting Style:Uses short ranged lightning magic with middling skill


Nation of Origin: Principality of Magor, a small island just north of the tropics, the people farm the sandy soil for simple plants and fish in the seas, very little of repute aside from the known brutality of their combat which has kept them independent for many years, producing enough to build a navy of screw ships, square-rigged vessels with a dart like design culminating in a hooked bow which juts below the water acting as a ram. The culture of this nation is one of tragedy and combat, the king attempts to be just to all people, but is spread thin in what he can do with so little, naval raids bring in many goods, but set the whole world against his people. he wishes to broker alliances with nations which could save his people.


Personal Intentions: To serve the people of my homeland as well as my own personal ambitions of glory and power


Personal Information/Bio: A distant nephew of the king, set sail away from home with the royal navy to broker peace with any country that will take us, we sail solley under a white flag, which many of the sailors find insulting to their abilities. I desire to see the people back home thrive as much as any other, but cannot stand idly by and let my uncle take all the power, I intend to establish an empire, one of peace, not the disjointed poverty these island realms know too well.

Abilities



-Esther has the power of magnetic magic. This means that she can control anything magnetic enough in her vicinty. Note that she can't create materia and that her level of control over something is directly linked to how magnetic it is. Also, using this power she can detect magnetic fields and is essentialy a living compass.


-Esther has a great understanding of geography and navigation. She can find the best route to most places quickly, also knowing how much time the journey would take and what encounters might happpen on the way


-Having studied other cultures for years, Esther knows quite a lot about most islands

Nation of Origin



Esther comes from Duchielor, a rather wealthy island near the main continents. Is known to be attacked rather often due to it's practical spot aswell as the mostly rather wealthy inhabitants. That's only the surface though, as there is a big problem of inequality there, being so that the middle class is almost nonexisanstant.


Personal Intentions



Esther is as curious as it gets, so her real motivation is obviously exploring and learning. She has read all about the sea in the books and now she's going to see it with her own eyes.


Bio



Esther Fenn comes a long wealthy line of merchants in Duchielor. Her parents often traveling when she was younger, Esther has pent a lot of time alone. Being curious of the graet sea that suurounded the island she lived on, Esther started studying the sea, navigation and the many cultures of the orld, unknowingly following her parents footsteps. She decided to study magnetic magic after realising how useful it could be when traveling. When she got old enough, she asked her parents for a ship so that she could travel. This led to rather huge fights, as they didn't want her to get hurt or lost, which Esther thought was hypocritic seeing how they were traveling all the time. Eventually she ran away, taking one of her families smaller traveling boats with her.

Appearance:

Jin, who stands at exactly 6'0", is on the leaner side. His sharp and angular face is free of any blemishes minus a cresent shaped scar under his right eye. His wild hair is coal black while his eyes are a cloudy sky gray. He'll almost always dress in plain clothing; however, he's always seen wearing a thick leather belt that holds his dearest collection of knives.

Primary Fighting Style:

Jin's talent when it comes to knives and daggers are first class, whether it's close range or ranged combat. His accuracy with throwing knives has never faltered, as he's guarenteed to hit a target within a range 50 yards. He carries a surprisingly high amount of knives with him. Most of these weapons are hidden away within his clothing outside of the prized ones that are placed on his belt.

Secondary Fighting Style:

Jin can use magic to manipulate sound waves. He's still fairly limited with this technique. So far he can only amplify sounds a bit, which he mostly uses to snoop in on secretive conversations, or muffle his own noises when moving about. In theory, he can create glass shattering whistles or destructive sonic booms, yet he deters from such things as he's apt to hurt himself in the process.

Nation of Origin:

The Marrow Isles, a group of barren islands in the north. The islands are officially owned by no one nation, as they have no resources to offer and the land is harsh no matter the season, going from hot wasteland to a realm of nothing but blizzards and ice in just a few months. The entire island chain is known for it's haven of rogues, pirates, thieves, and criminals. Illegal activities are commonplace in the area, whether it be smuggling of goods or much darker deeds. Official ships for other nations steer clear of the island chain in fear of pirate attacks.

Personal Information/Bio:

Growing up, Jin spent most of his time as a small time thief and pickpocket. It was better than the alternative of becoming a pirate, which had a higher mortality rate by far. He learned to become independent fast, and by his late teens had upgraded his profession as an assassin for hire. Most of his experience about the world came from the tales of pirates and merchants returning from overseas. His curiosity steadily grew until he wanted to see the world for what it had to offer. With that in mind he stole a moderately sized vessel and sailed away from the only land he knew. His experience with the sea at the time is still well below average, as he's never truly explored the sea for what it's worth.

Age: 21


Appearance: Stands at 5'2 she has dark red hair and pale yellow eyes, that combined with her fair skin makes her stand out. She wears clothes that she has gained three her travels, some of which are male clothes.


Primary Fighting Style: She prefers to stay a safe distance from enemies and pick at them from afar with her trusty bow. She carries around a few poisoned arrows but is hesitant to use them.


Secondary Fighting Style: She does have a dagger on her person at all times, but her ability to use it is at a beginner level. Myra can use plant magic, it isn't powerful but can trip or at least slow down an enemy.


Nation of Origin: Anya island is more of a mountain in the water than a actually island. It is populated by villages that have little contact with each other and has no real common language. It is always cold, rarely sunny and an inhospitable terrain; because of this few people want to go to Anya and even fewer leave. The only reason ships do trade with them is because of the medical herbs that grow there.


Personal Intentions: Myra mostly just wants to travel and expressive things to the fullest.


Personal information/ bio: Myra was raised at birth to become the next village healer, however when she was ten she decided to explore stowed away on a departing ship. After that she began to wander, and after many bloody fights she learned how to fight and how to hide. In order to continue her travels she became a traveling healer; she would patch up other travelers, sell her tonics, and her poisons.
