Ace Combat: Nether Skies

Hello, just joined the forum, saw this roleplay and thought I could give it a go, very familiar with both real life and ace combat aircraft, also able to create some interesting caracters that would fit in here nicely I think.


if it is ok, I would love some helpful tips on creating a character and joining this roleplay.

This RP technically died long ago but since you've shown interest I'm willing to revive it and update it to make sure everything works.


Please give me until a little later today to get that done, and we can talk about your character and involvement in the RP. It will likely be a 1x1 Role-play between you and me, since nobody else is going to be joining or posting anymore save us.


But again, I'm glad for your interest as I'm a big Ace Combat fan and was saddened and disappointed by the previous death of this RP. But hey, it's never too late to revive it.
 
Sure thing, and if there is anything I can do to help I'll try, including getting some peeps I know to join if I can, long as they can do it, of course.
 
I'd say I'd be raring to go for a reboot of this, but after becoming somewhat a role play veteran I realize that something this detailed is beyond my capabilities. Really sad, since I would have enjoyed participating.

Detail is a bit much, but I'd still try so I could have a shot at this kind of RP. I've done other types on other sites, but not like this.

Well, for me it's just the issue of post length. I like detail, but post length requirements start murdering me after four paragraphs (:'()

Yeah... 4 paragraphs and I'll start writing unnecessary details, like what color my socks were.
 
@That Guy Over There, @Crimrose - It's nice to see that you two would be interested in an RP like this, and I would be happy to reboot it if you two still believe you'd be able to stick it out.


The RP's posting length was really not part of the "Detail" that I was asking for. I never make a post length requirement of my role-players. I only ask that they post as much information as is necessary to make a point and move their character forward. Asking anything more is being unreasonable, and asking anything less is borderline insulting to their skills as a writer/role-player.


So if you two would like, I can reboot this RP and we can collaborate on how best to tailor it to all of our needs so that we can all stick around for the long haul. I pride myself on being flexible as a GM, so if you two have requests or ideas that you think would help you maintain interest and remain active longer then send them my way and we can all discuss them together.

I'd be glad to do that - but I would only be able to actually begin posting in about two weeks. Right now school is preparing for exams, and while I don't have a problem with trying to keep up with the RPs I am already in, it's just too much to add another detailed RP to the list, so I'd be sticking to conversing and maybe character making... Oh, and research since, while I'm familiar with Ace Combat, my knowledge of planes in real life is a bit shaky.


I know it's impossible for group role plays, especially ones like this one that rely heavily on statistics, numerical and not, but that character sheet was absolutely daunting. I think I was so tired after finishing it I forgot to post it, and that was when something happened - I can't even remember what, might have been several things, and I lost this role play to the deep abyss of horrible memory and buried alerts.


Of course, I would love to discuss and resurrect this role play, but right now I'm going to be honest with myself and say I need some rest I rarely get due to insomnia.

That's not an issue from me at all. Take your time and when you are ready let me know and we can start discussing more about the resurrection of this RP.
