That One Fear In My Enemy's Eyes

I tried asking about an Ace Combat RP before, but nobody was interested until after I'd already given up on the idea and abandoned the thought of making the RP.
But apparently Ace Combat just won't leave me alone, and so here I am again with a new Ace Combat RP in mind as part of a celebration of Ace Combat 7's impending release (likely this Holiday season).
So the idea goes like this:
The events of Ace Combat 5: The Unsung War, are the primary backbone of this RP's story. In fact you could consider this RP a direct sequel to the game's events and storyline.
In the year 2020 the history of Wardog Squadron, also known as the Ghosts Of Razgriz, was finally declassified and all known and compiled information about their pilots and the missions they flew were released to the public.
Captain "Blaze."
Captain Kei "Edge" Nagase.
Lieutenant Colonel (Posthumous 2-Rank Promotion) Alvin H. Davenport, callsign "Chopper" (KIA).
Captain Hans Grimm, callsign "Archer."
And Captain Marcus Snow, callsign "Swordsman."
These five legendary Ace Pilots were hailed as the heroes of Osea upon the release of this information, and a statue of Lieutenant Colonel Alvin H. Davenport was erected by the Osean government in November City in honor of his sacrifice on November 29, 2010 as he fought bravely and gave his life to defend his people and president from invading enemy forces.
Now, in 2032, all of the pilots have faded to anonymity and lead normal civilian lives.
"Blaze" is still a mystery, and nobody has yet identified his true name nor have they managed to determine where he lives or what he does with his life today. Kei Nagase is now 45 years old, is married, and has two children though she refused to identify her husband. Hans Grimm is 41, married, and has three children, the eldest of which is sixteen. And Marcus Snow is 56 and retired, living with his wife and having just been introduced to his granddaughter not one year previous.
With the legends grounded and living civilian lives, we come to a new chapter where Osea is now facing the threat of impending war with neighboring Yuktobania once again. This time, however, Yuktobania is not alone. They have allied themselves with the neighboring nations of Estovakia and Verusa, combining to form the YEV Alliance. Thus far there have been no acts of aggression, but the YEV Alliance is demanding retribution for damages to the nation of Yuktobania caused by Belkan interference as well as their being the cause of the Circum-Pacific War. Osea is under tremendous political pressure from the YEV alliance to allow passage to Belka so that negotiations for the repayment of damages may begin, but such an allowance would violate the recently formed Osean-Belkan Agreement.
The OBA stipulates that Osea is, by all rights, an ally of Belka and obligated to protect them from invasion as well as unjustified demands by foreign powers. Belka views these demands by Yuktobania to be unjustified, and is demanding Osea stand by the agreement and tell the YEV Alliance off and that they find a way to pay for their own long-term damages as Belka is still reeling from their own, as is Osea.
The tension has been rising, and war seems inevitable at this point. It's just a matter of figuring out who takes the first step.
