*Gem had followed the whole time, though wasn't tired as Eve- not tired at all actually. but, they got to the tree. Gem was surprised: why hadn't the forest tried to stop her? then Gem realized- she didn't need too, the tree was already quite- well-guarded . the tree itself was beautiful, and rose high, high high high and mighty. the fruit was atop it, even though the tree held the fruit already high out of reach, it's branches tilted up to keep the fruit even higher- at the base though, a sleeping wyrm. it was old, and it's grip had loosened over the millennia- there hadn't been a person trying to steal the fruit in a while, and the wyrm doubted anyone would try to steal it again. the entire forest, to be honest. but here Eve was, and, with the Wyrm in a deep sleep, loosely coiled around the tree, it wasn't too hard to get to it*

* there was a weird animal at the base of the tree but she didn't care but the tree was bigger and higher than she expected she takes her bag off and drops it on the ground she carefully steps over the animal and starts climbing carefully so she doesn't slip and fall or wake the beast *
