A Power Ranger is a member of a team that fight monsters in a kids show with increasingly bad life lessons and dumb gags
A Kamen Rider is an individual who will usually fight alone in a show meant for 10-18 year olds where people get bloody, bruised, die and even indecently assaulted
Even the show that gets the costumes and footage for Power Rangers SUPER SENTAI can get pretty dark.... like children dying dark

I was just gonna smash together the backstories of every other character I have with that ability.
But who says we can't have two genderbending shapeshifters. They can be buddies. Or enemies.

Basic concept for mine is the character is more or less a battery/anchor point for 5 different demons each has a distinct personality and fighting style... but share the fact there all extremely clingy since there power is drawn directly from the character. What’s thinking of giving them the ability to merge with said character for a big ol boost to stamina since there battery is inside them in a sense.
(Basically harem of demons idk why but yes)
