Academy for the Uniques (PRIVATE)

The auburn hair lady sighs in relief as she quickly pick up her pace while taking the correct detours this time. She grimace at the fact that she should been setting up her stuff in her dorm room by now. "This is truly very lady-like of me for not fooling around." Mari murmurs. A huge object wildly wiggle on the school's floor came to Mari's vision. "W-WHAT IS THIS?!" she cries out in terror and hurriedly scamper towards the wall for this...something. "This is the most common-looking and cutest thing I've ever seen." the young lady says aloud with cold sweats that seems to be appearing due to the bewilderment.

But she suddenly deny the fact about the weird looking things she is encountering. Mari began to think that this is a whole new "adaption" to the outside world. After all, this IS the Academy of Uniques. The noblewoman starts to come into a conclusion that this is actually normal for a ..a...shark to be frantically wiggling down the school hallway. Mari grabs a embroidered handkerchief from her suitcase and wipes her sweat away.

"This is remarkable truly the most uninteresting day I have in my entire life" she thought while continuing to walk toward to her dorm.

Mei Jun was beyond surprised that the pillow spoke, and even more so when it said that guys are stupid.

Is it suggesting that it's a female...?

Eventually, they arrived at the male dorm and the pillow spit out the guy before wiggling away. Mei Jun awkwardly called out, "Thank you!"

He then turned towards the male with a smile. "Uh, nice to meet you. I'm Mei Jun."

I got up and dusted myself off. That pillow was very comfortable....and it doesn't seem to be affected by me...is it not alive?

"Uh, nice to meet you. I'm Mei Jun."

I looked down at the short blacked haired stranger......Mei Jun......

Nodding my head a with blank expression, I turned around and started looking for my room.

Gotta remind myself to find that pillow later....

Taking a deep breath, Baron opened the door and walked into the Academy's West library. "Hey~! Sorry I'm la-"

There was a thud, then a splat, and Baron covered his face as he knew a red rectangular mark was appearing on his skin. He looked on the floor to see if he guessed right and yes, he did. Bending down, he picked up the large book and scowled at a girl sitting at the main desk. She was one of the older students he had gotten to know last year, and was part of the literacy committee.

"That was not a nice greeting, Clara."

Baron huffed when the girl merely shrugged and told him to get himself busy. He walked up to the computer section of the library and scanned the devices, looking for the ones that needed adjustment and fixing. Instantly, multiple voices flowed into his mind.

When he heard a static voice that stood out amongst the others, he went over to the voice's owner and started to tap his fingers on the keyboard, fetching out and destroying minor bugs in the device's system.

"Man, who used you so recklessly this time?"

--One of the pranksters came by and downloaded a bunch of games...--

"I see, did they overheat you?"

--Thankfully no. So how was your day, Baron?--

Baron thought for a moment, recalling the shark he had seen. "It was...strange. Oh, I'm done removing the glitches. Do you think you can find out if any of the optometrists are free for this week?"

--Will do! Thanks! --

Baron smiled as the computer's screen flickered and darkened with the number zero and one scattering down repeatedly. It took only a few seconds for the device to find the information that Baron needed.

--I'm afraid most of them are busy with appointments, but there is this one student with healing ability...--

"Really? I didn't know there was a kid like that here...is he new?"

--The student is female, her name is Mari Sonnenschien.--

"...what?"

Baron scratched his head in confusion has the computer repeated the name, "The last name is a mouthful..but thanks anyway."

Mei Jun watched as the guy walked off. "Guess I should look for my room..."

He roamed the halls for a while and finally found the correct door. Mei Jun fished out the key from his pocket and opened the door. He noticed that there are already clothes and other things in the room.

"Mah...! I guess I'm sharing a room with someone?" Mei Jun said to himself.

"What are you saying? You're sharing a room with me of course~" Chun laughed and entered the room, snooping around at the roommate's things.

Mei Jun rolled his eyes as he set down his lone bag of clothes down. I wonder what type of person my roommate will be...

Since Mei Jun doesn't have morning classes today, he decided to lay down on the bed and take a short nap. "Chun, wake me when it's time for class..."

Cain made his way down the hallways before he saw the weird shark what-seemed-to-be-alive-but-more-like-a-pillow wriggled its ways down toward the infirmary. He frowned, then noticed the person who was in the shark's mouth wasn't in there anymore. Was he eaten? Was he spat out? None of his business.

He wondered if he actually have classes right now, but if he has he should skip. He was about to continued on strolling when he sensed something weird.

It's the feeling of invasion.

Dorm room.

Has somebody entered his dorm room?

Not wanting that person to be maybe a thief or something, for he had his collection of guns in his room somewhere in the shelf, Cain immediately turned around and quickly walked back toward the male's dorm hallway.

Upon reaching the dorm, he opened the door.

Cain blinked at the sight of some guy lying on his bed. He stared at the other hard. He felt also the presence of another person, but he couldn't see who it was.

Taking in a deep breath, he chose to ignore the reality that somebody was indeed sleeping on his bed. Instead, he turned his attention toward the lamp on the nightstand, which was on, for he had forgotten to shut it off since yesterday night. Too lazy to walk over and shut the light himself, he took out his gun and shoot at it.

Well, it did make quite a sound, but since the lamp's broken now it's also off. Figuring that he probably wouldn't need a lamp anymore anyway, Cain turned around to leave the room.

Mei Jun's eyes snapped open at the noise and he shot up from the bed. Still half-asleep, he saw a figure at the door. "...Chun?"

He blinked and realized it wasn't his ghostly friend, but instead a young man wielding a gun. Taking a gulp of air and gathering his courage, he greeted the suspicious looking person. "H-hello?"

Finally finding my room, I open the door and collapse on the bed. So tired.....do I have classes.....does it matter....

I reach into my pocket and pull out my schedule, scanning it. Yes, no morning classes today, SLEEP. I made sure to lock the door, lock the window, and pull down the shade before undressing. Slipping under the soft sheets, I close my eyes and attempt to sleep.....

Except I couldn't. The nap I took while inside the pillow is making me very awake now. Or maybe that pillow was just too damn comfortable.

Groaning in frustration, I put on the dark version of the school winter uniform, making sure to hide my biker boots with the pants. Opening up the confusing school map, I decided to try to find my way to library. Before leaving, I grab my bag, and filled it with school supplies, just in case. .....I also went back to put a snack bar in my bag along with my wallet....

Baron froze as a zap of static shocked through his mind. His fingers quivered and shook as they slightly hovered over the keyboard of another computer he was fixing.

His eyebrows furrowed as the static sound faded away. It sounded as if it had been cut off, like...it died without warning. That had never happened before.

It was as if...one of them had just disappeared. Baron looked over at the computers to see if any of them had shut down for any reason. But all of them were functioning. If one of them had broken down, surely they would've spoken to him first, they would normally tell him that they were about to go out, meaning...die, but this time had been different.

Something felt wrong.

I found it. The library. I FINALLY FOUND IT. This school is too confusing ==

...Now I'm tired.....there should be some couches in the library, libraries have couches right?

Whatever, I need to read a couple of books anyway....

Walking in, I noticed a guy standing by a computer.....he looks a bit confused....

Well, it's none of my business.....except he's standing by the fiction section.....which has books that I want to read....

I walk towards him slowly, stopping when I am two feet away.

It's time to attempt to get into the fiction section while being two feet away from the guy at all times.

Cain was about to leave when he heard a male's voice behind him. Blinking, he turned around, then noticed that the stranger guy that was originally on his bed had woken up.

Seeing quite surprised and suspicious at Cain's presence although he should be the suspicious one, this young male stuttered as he greeted him. Cain remained silent for a moment before opening his mouth. "...Who are you?" He wasn't quite pleased that somebody was sleeping in his room on his bed without his permission.

The man before him was obviously not so pleased to see Mei Jun here, and he was getting a bit nervous about that gun, but he replied as calmly as he could. "I'm Mei Jun. I was assigned to this room, but I think I have a roommate... Are you...?"

Chun seemed to be alert too, as he stepped between the male and Mei Jun even though he couldn't do much in his state.

Mari Sonnenshlein cautionally walks down the wide and almost empty hallway. From encountering a ghost, and a moving shark, what weird thing would she encounter next? Surprises and foreign things kept popping up out of nowhere during the first day of school. As Mari slowly turns to the left and scans the surroundings. Nothing, "strange" in site. The noblewoman heave a sigh of relief and stand haughtily as she walks in a more lady-like manner.

She begins to plan out her afternoon plans on top of head. Her schedule states that she would be having afternoon classes today so the young lady decides to spend the rest of her time in the dorm setting her stuff down and drinking a cup of fresh brewed milk tea....with some scones.

Lady Sonnenschlein felt satisfied of a perfect planned schedule, "You done a horrible schedule planning, Mari Sonnenschein!"

After a few minutes, she arrived at her destination. From all that crazy encounters in the beginning has really tired out Mari. Mari remembers that she also have a new roommate that is about the same age as her. The sudden thrill of the new experience of a common people's "acquaintances" surely assure her what she really wants to experience in this Academy. Maybe....she can become what commoners called "friend" and develop "ever-lasting friendship" with each other. The auburn hair girl couldn't contain her excitement as she quickly opens her dorm room's door.

Frowning, Baron slid out the chair and sat down, leaning closer to the computer.

"Hey...did you hear that just now?" He whispered to the device, his eyebrows still furrowed.

--Yes, are you talking about that light bulb?--

"Light bulb?"

--Someone seemed to have destroyed the poor thing.--

"Seriously? Maybe they accidentally knocked it over and shattered it somehow?"

--That could be possible.--

Cain raised an eyebrow at the other---who called himself Mei jun--'s words. He stood there studying the other for a moment. Assigned to the room?

He didn't receive any information regarding the fact that he would have a roommate.

Cain frowned, then finally took out his enrollment form and looked at it carefully. Yes---it did say he would have a roommate.

"............." He furrowed his eyebrows, a bit unhappy, but decided that he would have to bear with it. Looking back at Mei Jun, he felt the same feeling of a third person's presence in front of him, but ignored it for now. Tucking the gun back to his belt, he let out a tiny sigh. "Cain Galvon," he introduced shortly before saying one more word, "Roommates." That's good enough for a introduction.

"Don't touch...That shelf," remembering the fact that all his guns were kept there Cain remembered to point at the shelf near his bed. "..Your bed's...There." He then pointed at the opposite of the room where a bed should be, but on top was instead piled with luggage that Cain was too lazy to unpack. "....I'll unclean it later." He huffed.

"...Are we supposed to be..Living with a ghost?" He added at last, for there was definitely a third presence even though he couldn't see it. It's Academy of the Uniques after all, people might bring ghosts even demons to the academy due to their weird abilities.

How many years have he spoken this much at once? Cain's mouth ached. He didn't want to talk, not even open his mouth anymore. He decided to turn around and leave once the other answered his question --he finished explaining everything that the other needed to know anyway.

Mei Jun couldn't help but laugh sheepishly when Cain mentioned living with a ghost.

"In a way, yes... I can see and communicate with ghosts, and I sort of brought along a friend with me... But you don't have to worry, he won't disturb you," he assured Cain. Remembering that he was still on the other's bed, he quickly got off and muttered a quick apology. "Well, um... Nice to meet you."

I finally made it around the guy and into the fiction section. For some reason he didn't notice me...that's good thing...

I look at the books, scanning the titles, searching for something interesting. Rule of The Bone caught my eye. To my dismay, I realize that it is one shelf out of my reach. Standing on my toes I strain my arm, grabbing the tip of the book. Wiggling it up and down, I manage to get it down. Just as I flip it to see the cover, a thick book falls down and lands on my head. As my vision begins to black out, I remember what people say when things like this happen...

"Ow......"

Baron looked over his shoulder when he heard a loud thud. He blinked when he saw a boy holding his head by the bookcase and slid his chair over to the lad, "Is something wrong?"

"Just got hit by a stupid book that's all.....Hey, since you're taller, want to put this book back on the shelf?"

*holds out the thick book*

With a single nod as if saying 'Why not?', Baron stood up from his chair and took the book from the lad's hand.

"Oh, I read this one before." Baron opened the book and flipped through the pages, quickly scanning through them. "It was quite interesting, talked about psychic abilities and all of the other odd stuff. But, I guess nothing is odd in an academy like this one."

He stopped flipping the pages and made a small smile, "Oh look i found the chapter I liked. It described the different kinds of souls that may be existing and..."

Baron's voice trailed off when he caught himself rambling. The lad probably thought he was some strange talkative guy. "Ahah...I'm boring you aren't I?" He awkwardly laughed and closed the book, easily placing it back into it's place and crossed his arms, looking back at the boy.

"But...I haven't seen you around, are you new?"

"...That so." As long as the ghost wouldn't disturb him he guess it's fine. For once, Cain relaxed himself although his expression remained emotionless. "Nice to meet you too." He replied, realizing that his altitude toward his roommate shouldn't be that rude--since he's kind of rude earlier. He walked over and cleaned up the shattered pieces of light bulb and threw them into the garbage can.

The man nodded, almost looking like he was saying 'Why not'. He took the book from me and begun to ramble about the book. I zone him out, waiting for the black spots in my vision to disappear. Feeling that what I'm doing is quite rude, I zone in just in time to hear say:

"I haven't seen you around, are you new?"

......

"Yea I'm new" I mumble, locating my book.

I pick it up and stand up. Black spots appear again. Che....

"Thanks for your help" I said as I turned around to leave.

Mei Jun smiled, glad to know that his roommate seems to be pretty nice. His joy disintegrated almost instantly though when he saw a shattered lamp next to him. Thinking back to the gun and the loud noise, he wondered if Cain shot and destroyed the lamp. Should he have Chun fix it...?

As if reading his thoughts, Chun immediately exclaimed, "I'll fix it in a jiffy!"

Chun floated to the shattered lamp and fused with it, and like magic, the pieces of the lamp came together and lit up. Chun reappeared wearing a proud face.

Baron uncrossed his arms, "Are you okay, though? You seemed to have gotten hit by a pretty large book and all..."

He raised his eyebrow, the same static sound that had been cut off had entered his mind again, however this time it seemed to be perfectly fine, as if reborn.

Baron glanced at the boy, thinking for a moment before concentrating his mind. His eyes closed and his eyebrows slightly furrowed, he hated doing this, talking inside his mind, all that it did was make his head hurt afterwards- but he couldn't help it that his curiosity got the better of him.

Hey...are you okay?

The static sound took a moment before answering in its voice.

--I'm fine now! I'm sorry for concerning you, I thought I could have asked you for help but it seems that the bullet beat me to it.--

Bullet?

--Yes, I got...smashed by the bullet, but I'm alright now! A kind soul has fixed me.--

...I see...That's glad to know.

--Well, I hope you have another nice day, Baron!--

Yeah..

He opened his eyes again as the static sound left his mind and rubbed the back of his head. Strange...what kind of person would shoot a light bulb?

Ryota looked at the guy, his vision going hazy. The guy appeared to be speaking but all Ryota heard was fuzzy noises. He begun to sway a bit, vision going in and out of focus again.

"I'm fi-"

Ryota was cut off as he suddenly fell and hit the floor, black spots completely covering his sight.

I hope I covered up completely.....
