Fantasy Academy For The Gifted

"Well then you really are gifted to skips year and all." She looks for a seat near the front. "Everybody looks normal enough right."

Alright I should have explained this better. You picked two classes and most of you picked "other" as one of them. the "other" is our second period. Our first period is the actual class you picked. "Other" is like a study hall, and you get personal lessons for your personal gift. Does that make sense? :b
Ahh then let me go change it yeah :)

"Yeah they seem fine." Gin said not like he had room to criticize anyone he seemed to most strange out of them all. He was going to sit near poppy since friends always come in handy at one point or another.

She sit, happy to see him sit near. "How you feeling about the school school, I didn't think it was going to be soo big, it feels like we're in a palace."

Eli-

I watched the girl go to her class and I turned into mine. She's new. I should show her around. There are so many activities here, that would be so useful to know. I'll have to catch up with her later. Delilah. I walked into class and sat down by a couple kids as class started.

"I don't mind it but it's no where a big as a palace I mean the Romania’s Palace of the Parliament contains 3,552,120 square feet of floorspace where this is about a quarter or half of that at most." Gin said still looking emotionless.

Clea-

I sat with the two other I met. It's better to stick around people you kind of know than someone you don't know at all. I was silent for a while, listening to their conversation, so now I decided to jump in. "That's what I was thinking. It's so huge. And I saw outside that there are other smaller houses for 24/7 activities and training and stuff."

"Wow, this must be a really rich school to afford all this, did you guys pay to get in cause I didn't" She blink and stares at him. "You're like a robot, that's soo cool." She grins. "you really are a gifted person."

Clea-

I shook my head, "I didn't have to pay anything. Maybe the government pays for all of this. It is a super secret place and from what I understood you HAVE to be invited to attend?"

"Maybe we're being trained to be secret agents, like wouldn't that be awesome." She laugh,"or maybe I don't know we're superheros are something."

"Highly unlikely near to impossible have superpowers just isn't possible." Gin said sighing.

While everybody else was talking about superheroes, the government and agents, Delilah was sitting in a classroom alone. She was sad. And lonely. Did I say alone?

Gin's mind went back to something poppy said before... "O and I'm not a robot thank you very much I just have Hyperthymesia." Gin said annoyed showing some emotion before going back to his emotionless state.

Clea-

I sat in the classroom while people talked about whatever they were talking about. I was lost in my own little world, fantasizing about what might happen while I'm at this school. I want to find friends, and a boyfriend, a really cute one. I'd like a love that hides all the bitterness of the world. I want to learn about my "gift" and how to control it. Hopefully, everything goes as planned. I zoned back into the convseration everybody else was engaged in.

"Hyperwhat, are you like a super genius or something cause I didn't mean to insult, you just sounds so emotionless, it's a bit scary." She still thinks maybe they'er training superheros and maybe the boy next to her is going to be a super villein.

"Hyperthymesia is where I can remember an abnormal amount of my life and I'm not emotionless." Gin said looking towards poppy but his face showed otherwise since it was still emotionless.

"Wow that's cool! But you kind of are emotionless, I mean just look at your face now." She tries to point out the blank expression on his face.

Ms Vivian October Falls,

In regards to the exceptional gift I have come to learn you possess, I would like to invite you to attend the Academy For The Gifted, or AFTG. Here at the school, specialised teachers will work night and day to help you benefit from learning and controlling your gift for future safe and happy living. Please consider this invitation, because no one wants to not know about themselves, theoretically your special power. Also, this was the only option the government would accept after your... incident.

The First Semester for this year starts on the second Monday of the month.

Sincerely,

Headmaster

"Fuck..." October muttered as she crumpled the intricately designed and probably expensive papered letter and tossed it into the trash as she ran her hand through her hair. She knew saving that kid by getting shot by some robbers by using her power to curve the bullets, which accidentally hit several bystanders, landing her in jail. She had been bailed by the school, on the exception that she attended. A private school at that. She'd never been, or better yet seen one other than in movies. It apparently was horrible. Especially if there were others like her.

Others.... October grew up in a broken home. Not as bad as most, but pretty bad. Her mom ran out on her when she was born, dumping her in foster care until her real dad learned of her existence and adopted her. But he wasn't much better than the foster care. He was an alcoholic drunk and spent all of his money on cigarettes and women. Luckily the money he earned was from being a trucker for a major exporting company, which left October home alone with her thoughts and powers to herself.

Because of the absence of proper parenting, October had to grow up by herself, and train herself to learn about her power which she had obtained since she could remember. Friends weren't in her life either. No matter what she did to gain friends, she always was used, and screwed over. Soon she just learned to ignore everyone and keep her distance. Inevitably, this just made it worse because people targeted her as the freak, especially since when she lost her temper her power would manifest without her control. Jail became a second home to her, and would be her permanent home if it weren't for her dad's incredible timing.

As mentioned before, this last escapade to the jailers was a murder, and she would have been sentenced for life if it weren't for the fact that the Academy found out of her unnatural ability and thought it would be fun to use her like a lab rat. Yeah Right.

Although, October had no way out, considering it was jail if she didn't go. It wasn't like she was missing anything from not going. Why not? Her dad wouldn't care... much. He liked to use October for... personal episodes when he ran out of money for others. Yeah, leaving would be good. Hopefully this school isn't like public. Hell on Earth. And she'd be learning how to control her 'gift', if you were naive enough to think her power wasn't deadly. Sure, lets manipulate things with the mind. This way you can die without any hard work! Yeah, the cops sure wouldn't be able to find any fingerprints. Off the hook right? Peace of cake.

With a second thought, considering October needed the address for the school, she retrieved the letter and started packing. She didn't mind being late, but she wanted to make sure she left before her dad came home to object, and leave before she changed her mind.

----____----____---- NEXT DAY ----____----____----

October left the house, not even taking a second to glance back. For her, this was a step into a brighter future... a possible brighter future. Any future away from her pain filled past is better than... well... her past. The longer, farther away she walked from her old beat up apartment, the more she convinced herself this was the only, best option. Right?

Stepping off the coach stop in the middle of nowhere confused her. Technically, the address was just the corner of 2 old, pot hole filled abandoned roads in between a densely thick forest. She sighed, running her hand through her wavy brown hair, a nervous habit. Now what? She was lost. As she circled, trying to make sense of the situation, a black SUV pulled up beside her, with the license plate AFTG01.Just as she thought this was some sick joke, the drivers seat window rolled down and an bald man in his somewhat mid 30's with really dark shades gestured to the backseat.

October hesitated. From the license plate, and the expensive looking bodyguard type SUV, she knew this was a personal assistant to the private school. But, the top secret feel to the manky fake location and personal coach gave her an idea of how secure this school was. Did the government fund this, or was it all 100% off the radar? October sighed and entered the vehicle. You didn't go anywhere if you didn't take chances. Not even when you step into a shady car with a bald guy you don't know in the middle of nowhere. Yeah, not shady at all.

After a few hours of awkward silence (Not really, because October shoved in headphones and started listening to her extremely loud music as soon as she realised she was safe, which technically was just as she entered the car) October finally arrived at the prestigious Academy. It was as if she had traveled back in time to a castle in Europe. It looked to be centuries old and honestly was a beautiful piece of architecture.

The SUV stopped at the front, and the driver gestured for October to get out. Aww, no personal escort? He could at least have opened the door for her like a proper gentleman. With a sigh, October exited the car, and watched it speed off and out of her line of vision behind the school. She then focused her attention to the absent, empty feeling in the court yard. Darn, was she late? Who cares.

She entered the large, heavy double doors and into the main lobby. Still, no one was insight. Except for the desk clerk on the right. October cleared her throat and showed the lady her invitation. The old white haired lady glanced up from her mountain full of papers and grinned happily, pushing up her large pink 60's vintage glasses as if she was Dame Edna Everage.
"Ms Falls! Here, a map. Your dorm number, key and your class schedule. Class has started, so you better hurry!" October slightly nodded, and left in search for the dorms. If everyone was like that at this school, October wasn't even going to bother to unpack.

Luckily, the girls dorms was large, so everyone had their own room. Or so October thought, considering she didn't get a roommate, to her comfort. Although, deep down she had hoped she did have a roommate. But she'd never admit it to herself. Just like the fact that October was looking forward to this whole adventure more than she let on. After she set her bags down (She was too poor for proper suitcases) she grabbed a notebook and pen, and started toward the school building for her first class, Psychology. How cliché.

As October walked around the campus, it occurred to her how many people actually attended the school. There were activities every which way you turned that helped a certain ability. There was an extra long and wide track for .... super fast people? Same as a very tall building where people seemed to be jumping off for take of to fly. October shivered. It was as if she stepped into a comic book. The absence she felt earlier at the front of the school was now non existent once she actually made her way around the school. It felt claustrophobic in a way. Half of her hated it. She had sortof liked the idea of her being special and being the only one in the world with a power. Although, the other half was relieved she wasn't alone.

Quietly, October entered the somewhat already filled classroom, to her surprise. She didn't think many would be taking this class. Now, as she thought more about it, this class probably is the most taken, considering many powers deal with the mind.... in a way. As usual, she kept to her self and proceeded to sit in the back of the class away from everyone who eagerly sat at the front ready for a lecture on their 'gifts'. Great... Let the torture begin.

Gin just blinks...."Erm I can't look at my face." Gin said rather confused as he noticed another person enter the room but he decided he didn't feel like talking to her and she was right at the back which made it harder since he was near the front.

((SKIP THIS POST IF YOU DON'T WANT TO READ ABOUT WHAT DELILAH THINKS ABOUT WHEN SHE'S BORED! *cough* what I think about *cough*.))

While sitting in class Delilah's thoughts was at a entirely different place than class. She sighed. Suddenly a terrifying thought that she had tried to forget popped up in her mind; Will I ever get a friend? A shocked expression appeared on her for a second ago dreamy face. Her heart sunk all the way down to her stomach. What would happen if I don't get any friends?

-
----"SCARY" IMAGINATION TIME-----

Delilah sat alone on a lunch table in a cafeteria. A girl with long hair walked towards her table. A guy grabbed her elbow and almost spilled the milk that was on her lunch tray. He whispered to her, it was loud enough for her to hear. "Don't talk to her, she's a friendless loser." The girl nodded and followed him and sat on his lunch table instead.

Later that day Delilah sat in the back of the classroom alone. Everybody stared at her and whispered nasty and mean thing about her. That hour everybody (including the teacher) ignored her. It was a nightmare. She turned her head. A white bunny stared at her. "It's okay, hon. Mr. Bunny is here to give you a hug."

------SNAPPING OUT OF IT TIME------

Her head shot up. A ear-piercing scream escaped her mouth. The teacher looked over at her. "What is it, miss Jackson?" He asked annoyed. "I just got so excited I couldn't control myself!" She answered with her famous faker-than-Barbie smile. He smiled as he approved. " Good because you will love this part..." and he continued his rambling.

What would be different if I had friends? She asked herself.

Delilah noticed her mind slowly slipping back to her imagination.

-
----HAPPY IMAGINATION TIME-----

Delilah sat alone at her lunch table. A girl with long hair walked towards her table. No one grabbed her elbow this time. And instead of milk she had apple juice. (Wow, she's awesome.) thought Delilah. "Hey, Delilah." she said when she sat down. "Hey." I sat back. Then came the guy that grabbed her elbow previously and sat down next to her. "Hey Delilah and ____" he said. (Wait? Is her name Beep? It must suck to have that name...) "Oh, hey _____!" (Beep number two, huh? That's sad to have the same name.) Suddenly Delilah realized something. (Oh, their names are probably censored, stupid me!")

------SNAP OUT OF IT TIME------

When Delilah came back to the normal world she realized she was crying. "It would be so wonderful!" she sobbed. The teacher turned to her. "Yes, miss Jackson. It would be both beautiful and wonderful if someone manages to master this technique. Especially for you, since this technique is originating from ice manipulation..." he said and continued rambling.

((I were really bored, K? I actually had fun writing this.))

Gin noticed that poppy seemed embarrassed and felt slightly bad since he caused it. "Erm sorry didn't mean to embarrass you." Gin said quietly as he looked at her with his usual emotionless face.

"I shouldn't have said something like that, I wasn't trying to insult you. It's just...yeah." She looks at him and wonder how he can look so emotionless.
((I hope this rp isn't dead already.I mean where is everyone?!?)))

Ashley was having a little trouble finding her first class and was to shy to ask for help. She hated being the new girl.

Hope woke up and looked at the clock in her wall.

"Oh crap!I have ten minutes!

Hope ran to the bathroom and took a quick shower, today it was her first day in the Academy and she was going to be late. She dressed and brushed really quick, picked up the bags she packed yesterday and ran to her father´s room.

"
Dad wake up i need you to take me to the academy"

Her dad looked at her and took a deep breath

"You leave today, I almost forgot"

"Come on!

Hope arrived to the school five minutes later, still on time.

She huged her dad and ran towards the school entrance, while in the inside. She took out a piece of paper which had her room number and her schedule. When she found her room, she opened the door and slowly entered the room
