Abyssal based Exalted 3e - To Kill A Primordial

Psychie

Princess Psychie
I tried running this game a while back using Exalted Essence but it didn’t really take off. Now that the 3e PDF for the Abyssals is out, I want to give this another try.

This is a game where you are LOYAL servants to one of two Deathlords, the Twisted Toymaker or the Deliverer of Dark Dreams and Nightmares. Yes, you are the bad guys in this game. Embrace the darkness. IF you wish, you can play as another kind of Exalt, but you MUST be a loyal thrall to your master. An Abyssal would still be the best option for you.

There is no requirement to play different castes, so if the group wants to have more than one of the options, go for it.

If I get enough interest, I’ll post more information for you.

I've never played Exalted before (I have a tiny bit of experience with the Storyteller system), but this seems interesting. Would you be willing to teach a new player?

Between my own knowledge and that of the other players I hope to see, that shouldn’t be an issue.

I've always enjoyed this game in all its various incarnations! I'm definitely interested to find out where such a creative campaign idea leads.

Is there room for one more Abyssal? After playing one in Random Word's game, I find them so much more interesting, and I do have their Charm Cascades done

Any room left here? I was thinking of playing a lunar possibly one trying to “save” their solar partner or is deluded into thinking they can

I might, but I would need to get some clarification. Is it that you are trying to rescue a Solar from the Deathlord or are you trying to get your Solar to work for the Deathlord?

More a lunar attempting to purify their solar mate from solar influence being dragged along with the plots of a Deathlord.

That concept really wouldn’t work with with this game. You are so a part of a plot to infect millions of people with the Great Contagion and spread death on a global scale not seen in a thousand years. Being set on saving someone just won’t fly.

Where can I find that abyssal PDF? Ive got this Abyssal concept of a Dusk caste warrior and if I give it a look I can polish it up.

I can share it with you if you are willing to give me an email address.

Ive never played 3e before, but id be interested in learned if you still have room. I might also go a Lunar, but they will have completely turned their back on creation. Otherwise I might go with a daybreak Abyssal

Let me double check the number of players I have and let you know. I’m coming close to my limit.
