Abandoned {dead} [Inactive]

((We are clearly too busy sleeping to skip to morning! We can't skip this important part!))


Drake looks just about dead; Running around everywhere tends to do that. It doesn't help that ferrets sleep a lot.
 
Error


Error's cloud dream continued, and there were sheep jumping with him. The dream continued with a boing boing boing, and it was going to end that way.

Error


Error rewoke up, and was careful, making sure he didn't kick his sister this time. He yawned, and wagged his tail. The sun was shining, and he was the first one up.


Nemesis


Nemesis slowly woke up, and opened her eyes. Not getting up, she licked her paw, and sighed. It had been a terrable night, and she was surprised she got as much sleep as she did.


Storm


Storm was still asleep, and dreaming. She had stayed up most of the night, and she couldn't get herself up.
 
(Let's see if I remember all my characters.)


Algernon yawned and stretched his little stubby "arms", awoken by all the movement around him. He noticed a few of the other creatures starting to wake up, including Eltrut who was just now poking his little green head out of his shell. Eltrut took a quick scan over the group of various animals and tilted his head to the side. "Algae, who are these guys?"


"Huh," Algernon said, noticing all the new creatures. "I don't know."


As if on some sort of cue, the smallest of the chubby creatures with the long ears opened his eyes and stretched, causing the larger two he was cuddled up against to awaken as well.


Meanwhile, Glitch continued to rest peacefully, her head filled with sweet dreams of food and toys.


(So, that's Algernon, Eltrut, Glitch, M&M, Moonlight, and Midnight. I think that's all of them.)
 
Error


Error turned to the mouse, and turtle. "They're bunnies, and their names are…" He stopped, and noticed that he didn't remember their names. "Um, one's Moonlight, right?" He couldn't remember the other one's name, and he didn't think he saw the small one the other night.


Storm


Storm finally woke up, with a yawn. She wagged her tail, and looked around. She wondered when her new friend, M&M, would be out to play.

"My name is M&M!" the bunny said overenthusiastically.


His mother chuckled. "I'm Moonlight, and this is Midnight." She gestured vaguely toward her mate.


"Nice to meet you, M&M, Moonlight, and Midnight," Algernon said. "My name is Algernon."


"Nice to meet you, too, Algernon," Moonlight said.


Then, Eltrut added, "But I like to call him Algae."
 
Nemesis


Nemesis was listening to the introductions, and stood up, walking over. "Hello, rabbits." She said. "If you all are traveling with us, here are the rules. Listen to me, don't slow us down, and don't ask annoying questions." She walked around them as she said this, her tail swaying back and forth.
 
"Oh," Moonlight said sheepishly. "O--okay." She wasn't going to mess with a threatening feline. However, her mate seemed to have other plans.


"Now, you listen here," he said, trying to sound tough but instead sounding like quite the opposite due to the shakiness of his voice. "Nobody threatens my family like that."
 
Nemesis


Nemesis stopped, and shoved her face right up close to Midnight's. "What was that rodent?! I'm the one in charge here, and unless you want to become my meal, you'll respect that!" She shouted, and then stepped back. "I'm Nemesis, and as I said before, if you're coming with us, follow the rules!"


Error


Error felt threatened by Nemesis's yelling, and put his tail in between his legs. He backed up, and whimpered, accedently stepping on Glitch's ear.
 
Midnight huffed in anger but didn't say anything more. He'd already put his family in enough danger for one day. Silent, he walked away from the feline, his mate and son following close behind, until they were toward the back of the group, hiding among the others.


Glitches eyes shot open as she yelped, more in surprise than in pain. "Error!" she whined. "Be more careful!"
 
Error


Error jumped, and he turned to face his sister. "S-sorry, Glitch!" He said. He was still shaking, but his tail wasn't between his legs any more.


Storm


Storm saw her friend, and got excited. But, he didn't even talk to her. 'Is M&M mad at me?' She wondered. Whimpering, she stood up. She wanted to go ask him, but there were so many other animals.


Nemesis


Nemesis sighed, "Come on, we're moving know!" She called. She started to walk in the direction of the ocean.
 
Algernon noticed the rabbit family looking sullen. He moved over toward them. "Don't mind her. She can actually be pretty nice."


Moonlight smiled at the rodent. "Thanks."


M&M turned his head and noticed Storm. His eyes lit up. "Mommy, can I go play with Storm?"


"Huh?" she asked, not understanding.


M&M attempting to point. "Can I go play?"


"Oh," Moonlight said, seeing the creature who went by the name of Storm. "Sure, go ahead. Just don't get left behind."


"Okay, Mommy." He ran off toward Storm with a big, goofy grin on his face. "Hey, Storm!"

Glitched sighed. "It's okay." Then she noticed her brother shaking. She tilted her head slightly. "What's wrong?"
 
Storm


Storm wagged her tail when, M&M came over. "Hi, M&M." She said. "What are you doing?"


Error


"Nemesis was shouting, and it startled me." Error told his sister quietly. Then, he noticed everyone walking off. "C-come on, Glitch. They're leaving us behind. We can talk while we walk."
 
"Uh," M&M said, "talking to you?" He smiled. "And what are you doing?"


Glitch walked beside Error. "Well, I'm sure she didn't mean to startle you," she said in an attempt to make her brother feel better. He looked so shaken up.

Storm


Storm giggled, "I'm talking to you." She said. "Where are y'all going? Can I com too?" She sat down, and tilted her head.


Error


Error nodded, "Y-yeah." He said. His sister was probably right, but he had still been startled. He turned, and licked Glitch, as a thank you.
 
"Of course you can come," M&M said. "I think I heard someone say something about the ocean, so maybe we're going there. Sounds fun. I've never been to the ocean before."


Glitched smiled and licked him back before continuing to follow the group.
 
Storm


Storm nodded, "If we're going, we should get going." She said, walking over to the group.


Error


Error smiled, and wagged his tail. He continued to follow the group, and tried to stay close to his sister.


Nemesis


Nemesis mumbled to herself. "We ate all of the meat. So, what am I going to eat?" Was the only understandable part of what she was saying.
 
Algernon found himself overhearing what Nemesis was saying from all the way in the back of the group. In fact, he could suddenly easily pick up on all the different conversations going on among the group of animals. Freaked out, he froze in his tracks, almost causing one of the rabbits to trip over him in the process. He couldn't help but wonder if his exceptional hearing was due to his being experimented on.


Goodness, he thought. I sure hope not.
 
Nemesis


Nemesis noticed some sort of comotion in the back of the group, and stopped. She walked over, "What's going on here?" She asked. Then, she noticed a golden retrever pup. "And who's this?"


Storm


Storm whimpered, being very shy. She attempted to hide behind M&M, no luck. But, she stayed there anyways.


Error


Error looked over at the other pup, and walked closer. "Hi!" He barked.
 
"Um," M&M said, his voice quavering at the sight of the angry feline, "this is Storm." He attempted to block the cat's path to stop her from being able to reach Storm, feeling a sudden surge of protectiveness over his new friend.
 
Nemesis


Nemsis sat down, "Okay, does Storm know the rules?" She asked. "And I'm still wondering what the hold up is."


Storm


Storm's tail went between her legs, "Sorrysorrysorrysorrysorry!" She started saying sorry over and over, quickly.


Error


Error tilted his head, and looked over at Glitch. "Why's she saying sorry?" He asked.
 
M&M put a paw on Storm's, uh, shoulder? "Hey, it's okay," he said, trying to calm her down.


Algernon broke out of his trance to find Nemesis yelling at a scared puppy. "Sorry Nemesis," he said. "I just zoned out there. We can continue now."


Glitch attempted a shrug. "I don't know."
 
Nemesis


Nemesis sighed, "Okay, let's get moving." She said. She was acting meaner lately, she didn't know why. It might have been because of the nightmare. She walked to the front of the group, and continued.


Storm


Storm calmed down a little, and started walking again. Though, she was still a little frightened.


Error


Error continued walking, "Uh, okay." He said. He was a little confused. Although, he was pretty sure Glitch told him his head was empty. He got rid of the thought, he knew she never really meant all those insults.
 
M&M decided he better stick close to Storm to keep her calm. The cat really seemed to have left her shaken up. "I wonder why the kitty is so angry," he said, voicing his thoughts.
 
Storm


"I don't know." Storm said. "But, she's scarey." She had never met such a mean cat. Though, the only cat she met before this, was a little stray kitten. She had told him he needed to go to the shop, but he said his mother told him humans were bad. She had never seen him again after, they said goodbye that night.
