Firstly because your character can create weapons from Hell itself, and that speaks for itself. I'll need your permission for the second reason though since it's more of a work-in-progress since I'm not certain if it falls under his ability:
It'd be a strategical move. Since your character is able to sense when his property is threatened, if my character is if ever attacked he'd be aware of it. Which is rather useful since my character tends to work alone. That is, if those weapons could still somehow be considered his property.

What can your character offer to pay in exchange for insurance? Since Zornkriegshetzer's Sin is Greed it would be insurance you'd have to keep paying for to keep.I thought it'd be more like that. In that case, the latter would probably be the case.
