A War of Monsters

I was looking at Soulbastion as a city that worked on tech to fight and counter giant monsters, then the bottom of the city in the lower parts got overrun from the sewers. This lead to the picture above, the assault on the fortress center.
The weapons of the Scions! And those the tyrant can grow

Well if we're suggesting cities then how's this

An ancient city that has hidden itself from the global view for many generations, this large town resides on the somewhat snowy side of an ever simmering volcano. They have constructed everything from their forges and lights, to their hearths to work off of the steam, embers, and heat of the volcano. Those who do know of the town, consider it an odd little abode with an even more odd community. It is said that the residents are welcoming, but only truly entrust their own. Others pass rumors that an ancient tradition of nurturing and living with the dragons, that originally inhabited the mountain, is still being followed. Who can really say anything else besides what all hear is true, it is home to some of the best dragon smiths known to man.

*cough* cough*, so any discussion on ideas about characters and whatnot. the anticipation is killing me

You are all free to plot and contemplate among yourselves. I will try to get the play under way soon. Just taking me a bit to get the fine details written out ^^;

So... I plan to have half the hunters die in an apocalyptic blaze of hell fire. On page 1 of the play. =D GL EVREH-BODEH-ELSE!!

But for realz: There will be much pain. If you're squeamish, then you don't really want to know the kind of plots in this mind.

Morridan you sound like my kind of man. I am still trying to place a Power Number on the Tyrant. Any help there?

And some truly evil plots underway. To truly kill the Tyrant you have to destroy ALL the hives in the world. Who knows how many he grew before someone found him?

Really, Honestly, I've given Morridan permission to punish all of you. Hunters and Monsters alike. He's an aspect of Death when he sets his mind to it. Really, I'm scared for you guys. I don't like fighting him, he's scary... In the infamous words of the Red Queen, "Your All going to die down here."

You have never seen my fighting. That combined with the creatures that exist in the Lore of the creatures i took this character from. The guns shoot Parasites that will eat you alive. The blades are coating in so many toxins that they melt steel. The swarm is endless. THEY ARE COMING! I FEEL THEM SCRATCHING AT MY MIND!! THEY WILL CONSUME US, MIND, BODY, AND SOUL!!!!

I would like to think of myself as the kind of man that people refer to as "Their Kind". =) I'm a lady's man. A man's man. A manly lady's man, even. Bearded women need love too.

In other news!! I would probably rank him as a 1.5 or 2? ish? And as far as wiping out "The Hive", wouldn't you just make the system like a complicated circuit? You cut off enough routes to funnel energy inwards, and all of a sudden the main "Power" falters. Causing such a disturbance to the Tyrant could mean that he finally shows himself in all of his mutated, exo-skeletal glory? Food for thought ^_^ .

I feel like maybe my choice to become a Hunter manager could have been a mistake (bravely quakes) but anyway I plan for one of the brothers to die, which? who knows, probably whichever one is more dramatic. Seriously though I think that @ThunderDire has the best match-up for Jacob, metaphor dragon versus real dragon ,booya, and Morridan, it scares me to say this, has the best nemesis/main beast for Richter. I haven't really figured out if I want to tie their fathers death into one specific monster yet either.

In the books the Tyrants, Yes there are many of them, are super leaders. They lead swarms from the middle, and often are not scared of death, as they are only reborn. They use the giant creatures to lead the attacks they cannot, each large creature a beacon of command and stratigy for the whole swarm.

Then I would have to suggest... **puts on scouter-ear-piece** The power level would have to be.... 2. On the account of it being a self sustained and fairly enigmatic in terms of leadership since another "Tyrant" could just pop up given time.

You know, all of this is so funny, because Morridan and I have already discussed so much of this play (Because he bugs me about it constantly [YOU CANT RUSH GENIUS GOD DAMMIT!!] and I keep theory crafting details with him) and currently, I have ideas on about 85% of the plays details, I just need to... sort of playtest a few things before we play test them.

So we have to Playtest what we're putting in the play's test... I like where this is goin'.

Or in other words...

YO DAWG!! I heard you like playtesting! So we playtested your play's test so you can playtest while you play test!... Or test play... YEAH!!

See the way I saw it. Each Tyrant is unique. That much is known, but this one was ripped from its reality. It was alone and grew some large Scions then creayed a full hive. It got out of hand from there as a Tyrant cannot make another Tyrant.
It is level 2 for now. Can go back and edit if changed
