Eleanor saw two girls coming down the hallway. They didn't seem like vampires, at least Eleanor didn't see the red eyes that her master had or evidence of fangs. She remembered the vampire she had pick pocketed from had the deepest black eyes she'd ever seen...like looking into a well and never seeing the bottom. Eleanor shivered at the memory and nodded at the girl who had left before turning her attention to the other girl, a servant apparently in this castle. "Oh yes. My master received an invitation to a ball here but we were late in coming," Eleanor said. "I was in the stable area giving orders to one of the stable boys about our horses care and we haven't received a room yet." At that moment her stomach grumbled and the girl flushed in embarrassment. "If I may, I also need access to the kitchens once I've taken my master's and my things to his room," she said. @sunako kirishiki

Lakota frowned as he caught the sound of footsteps before they stopped by the door. He turned his head towards the door and inhaled the air, catching the scent of human but it wasn't his slave. He pulled out a flask and uncorked it before tipping it back to quench his thirst, watching for signs that his input was needed, though Lakota doubted the input of a newborn would matter much. @sprouhtt

"It's alright the lord must be angry right now for the tardiness but it's ok. I will show you to a vacant room follow me, I know these halls can get tricky but it will

Come to you when you need it.." She walked her down the hall which she kept track on every room and the guests to know which ones were empty and which were used. She pears down another hall while stopping at a room which she unlocked and looked inside. "Will this room be ok it's vacant and the space is good for two people.. Are you hungry? I will show you to the kitchen after wards when your down.." she stood by the wall while smiling and waiting

"I wonder what is going on?" She muttered but then her stomach pain came back and she felt like someone was punching her stomach. Amara kept on looking inside from the small opening, hoping to hear what was going on.

Eleanor listened to Julie speak of what she assumed was Dracula being angry that they were late, frowning in disapproval at the servant's words. Running a horse on a loose shoe could lead to injury for the horse and potentially the rider as well. She followed down the hallway and then down another hallway before Julie unlocked the door. Eleanor looked inside the room and nodded. "This is fine. My master isn't picky given his upbringing," she said. Lakota had always said a bed was a bed, no matter where it was. She walked inside and opened the wardrobe she saw, beginning to hang up her master's cloak and left the bottom of the wardrobe bare for the stallion's saddle and tack. The dresser she left for her master's other belongings, using the second wardrobe for her own things. It didn't take long as they didn't have much with them to begin with. The tent and the sleeping bags went on the shelf above her things on their wardrobe and her master's umbrella was put up on the shelf in his wardrobe. Closing her wardrobe and making sure nothing was out of place, she walked back to Julie. "I am hungry. Thank you for the help," she said as she prepared to follow Julie to the kitchens so she could make a couple meals for her and Lakota. @sunako kirishiki

Lakota carried blood in his flask. It was useful for when he did a lot of traveling and had taken to the habit of carrying a flask when he had turned thirteen. Tilting his head, his eyes flickered to the door as he lowered the flask and capped it, letting it rest once more at his hip as he could still smell the human at the door. Why are humans lurking outside a meeting of monsters and beasts? he asked himself. It didn't seem that the other vampires had noticed the scent of the humans. Maybe their sense of smell was weak. He was a vampire who lived on blood and human food, not sure if he had inherited such a thing from the vampire who had turned him or not but he was glad for it. Living on a diet of just blood seemed impossible and made him pity his kind. Moving along the wall he walked over to the door. @sprouhtt

she watched her place there things in the wardrobe which she kept

Smiling. She was cheery when meeting new people around her. When she was done Julie walked out a led her to the kitchen. The halls were always empty at this time the maids were still cleaning the ball. "So..how do you like it here so far you just arrived but tomorrow will be a new experience with everything the flowers are very pretty in the morning"

Amara saw a tall man walking towards her his presences began radiating from his body, he had a cold aura and she could feel it. Her pain was hurting more then ever and all she wanted was Cane but he was nowhere to be seen. She hoped that he was alright. Amara held her arm close to her stomach as the pain pierced her even more, she backed away from the door even more and turned around to walk towards the kitchen. @eclipsehowls

Eleanor closed the door to the room she and her master had before following Julie to the kitchen. "It's big and the grounds seem expansive from what I could see of the grounds as we were riding up," Eleanor admitted. "I imagine I will be able to explore it tomorrow while my master sleeps and go into the village to get non-perishable items for food that can be stocked in the room." She hesitated before admitting that she had been utterly lost when searching for the stables and had just taken a guess as to where they were. "I wish there were signs or something pointing to where all the important things were located," she said. @sunako kirishiki

Lakota opened the door and saw a human prepared to walk away from the door. "Didn't your parents ever teach you not to listen in on conversations you are not privy too human?" questioned Lakota sharply. It had been something he had been taught as a child and had been hit for if he was caught eavesdropping on others' conversations. It was a lesson he had passed onto Eleanor, one of her first lessons when he had bought her. He stood there in the doorway, the dim lighting and the light of the fire not even spilling out into the hall. "I wonder if I should bring before you before the master of this castle?" He looked behind him at the other vampires to see if they had any advice to offer. @sprouhtt

"I wasn't eavesdropping, I was just passing through when I overheard chatter." Amara told him as she stood up straight instead of being hunched over due to the bad stomach pain she was experiencing on. "I'm not afraid of you, do what you want. Don't think you intimidate me, because you don't." Amara spoke to him as her voice trembled due to the bad stomach pain.

Anne looked over at the door, not because of the smell, but because of the pain radiating from it. She walked over calmly, and placed her hand on the new vampire's arm. "Leave her. She has just as much right as you or I. She was invited by the Count." She wanted to protect Amara. After all, while the girl was surrounded by vampires, she would need protecting.

"It's alright if you

Get lost just find me or any of the other maids and servants they will lead you to your destination.." She lead her down the hall seeing Amara near the meeting hall door she watched from the distance before walking to them "excuse me sir she was just looking for the kitchen please pardon her. As a man of such high honors do you really wish to spend your time dealing with humans..I would say returning before the lord is angered more"

@eclipsehowls @sprouhtt

"I appreciate you both helping me but I don't think he would truly do anything, seeing half of these vampires and what they are capable of I'm not entirely scared. They are all talk and no action," she told them and her pain hit her even more. She inhaled sharply but tried to keep a straight face on. @sunako kirishiki @eclipsehowls @FictionalReality

Anne frowned slightly, glancing back into the room to see whether the Count was watching. When she could see he wasn't, she stepped over the threshold and shut the door. "I will accompany you." She thought back to the books she had read about humans, and sighed "When did you last eat?" She asked.

(I apologize. I was working on a reply for another post and having a hard time catching my dog so I can devote my attention to role play.)

Lakota looked at the human. "Well I'm not sure where the kitchens are but considering how I smelled you outside this door and heard your footsteps stop here, I'd say you were eavesdropping," Lakota said. As the female vampire he had been looking at before came over and laid her hand on his arm, he tensed and turned his head to look at her as she spoke before turning his head back to the human. He saw Eleanor standing back with another woman, this one a servant by the uniform she was wearing, who came over and spoke up as well in favor of her fellow kin.

Eleanor nodded her thanks for the help and being able to call on one the other servants if she got lost. But then there seemed to be a commotion from the door across the hallway and her master appeared in the doorway, speaking to the girl she had seen with the servant after coming in with the belongings that were now in her master's room. She stayed where she had been left, watching the conversation and then another vampire coming to the aid of the human who had been about to walk away from the door. Eleanor shook her head as they attempted to talk to Lakota. He didn't tolerate disobedience from anybody but she kept her mouth shut.

As the female vampire left the room to escort the human that had run off, Lakota turned his gaze on Eleanor and waved his hand in a dismissive manner. Curtsying, Eleanor hurried after the others, though making sure to stay out of reach of the vampire. Lakota knew she disliked vampires and would be uncomfortable being around them. Lakota frowned as he watched everyone leave before shaking his head and opening his flask, taking a few sips, and closed it before retreating back into the room where the meeting was being held. Shutting the door behind him, he made his way back to the window he'd been standing at before and gave his undivided attention to the meeting.

Julie let out a sigh before following. Them to the kitchen "I will see what we have" she said before walking in quickly and finding some food. Some sandwiches and home grilled diffrent type of meats were stored as left overs. She placed them on the table and smiled "eat as much you like we don't serve the same food each day so these would just

Go the servants or thrown away"

Eleanor looked at the different grilled meats and sandwiches before taking a little of each offered and putting them onto a plate to give to Lakota before looking around for something that he could drink and wasn't alcohol. "What do you have to drink here?" Eleanor asked as she looked around the kitchen. She kept an eye on the tray of food and picked up a sandwich that she took a bite out of, searching the kitchen for a couple of glasses and a pitcher. @sunako kirishiki

"Well we do have human guests so we made some, we have tea,orange, Apple and any other type of juices from fruits in our planted fruit garden" she took out some of the drinks in the cooling storage and placed them with some cups

Eleanor looked at the different drinks, biting her lip before taking some apple juice. Finding a pitcher, she looked for some ice and found some in the cooling storage before putting it into the pitcher. Next she poured the apple juice into the pitcher as well so it would chill and put the pitcher into the cooling storage until the meeting was done. She poured herself some orange juice into another cup, and sipped it while eating her meal.

"I guess no one would mind if I took one aswell..tomorrow's breakfast will be diffrent" she took a sandwich and began munching on it happily as she giggled "it's so good"

"Yeah it is," said Eleanor as she continued with her sandwich and sipped at her orange juice, putting the two glasses on the tray of food that she was delivering to Lakota.

Food consumption "come on eat we brought you here for that reason you can have as much you like I will make more even" She smiled at the others placing the food in plates for her

@sprouhtt

She took a bite of the food, and it tasted delicious. She kept on eating and eating and before she knew it she was on her second plate of food. This was normal for her since she ate a whole lot. Amara could eat a meal for 20 if she could. "Thank you," She told Julie as she let out a burp, 'Excuse me," She said after the burp and wiped her mouth with a napkin. @sunako kirishiki

"That's alright you can take some to your room if you like for a midnight snack I will get a scolding by the head maid but it's worth it hehe enjoy" *she smiled cleaning up the rest that they didn't need and leaving the plate of food that they were still eating* "I wonder why a group of vampires in one room could talk about .. Hmm"

"I wonder what they are talking about, maybe Cane's in there?" She said to Julie as she finished up her food. Amara felt much better after that and she got up and patted her dress down in case she had any crumbs on it.

"It's not our business what vampires talk about," said Eleanor. She stared disapprovingly at Amara. "Had you belonged to the vampire you'd lied too, he would have disciplined you. Whatever a group of vampires talks about surely isn't good for humans."
