No no, it's great! Kenzie seems like a really interesting character and I can't wait to roleplay! So, is there anything else we need to work out besides what location to start at?
Thanks And so does Tony, he seems like he could have a few secrets that could lead to his character developing later on. And no I think we just need to decide where to start it off from. I'm kinda feeling when the two of them meet for the first time?
Anthony walked into where he worked, the small cafe on the corner of Cole Street. He nodded to his coworker and greeted him with a friendly smile. "Hey, Don." he said before walking into the back to grab his apron. He slipped the apron over his head before tying it in the back, his smile still lingering. He had woke up in a good mood this morning, and he planned to keep his mood this way. He walked back over to his coworker and leaned against the counter next to the cash-register. "Busy morning, huh?" Tony commented, looking around the cafe. It was packed, it wasn't usually this crowded. "Maybe this place'll actually become more popular now." Don chuckled, walking away into the kitchen to bake some of the muffins that were ordered. Tony stood up straighter, now waiting for somebody to come up to the cash-register and to order some sort of beverage or food item.
[[sorry that it took me so long! And this is an awful reply, I'm sorry for that as well!]]
Kenzie knew that she didn't have to be at work for another couple of hours, she just couldn't stand being in the same house as her father. Once again, they had gotten in a fight about his drinking. With a sigh, she walked into a small cafe she passed on her way to work. She had always told herself that she would pop in one day, and so today was the day - it was the only place that was open at this time. She was shocked to see so many people inside, it was a huge change since whenever she walked by they would be lucky to have a line-up. She walked right up to the counter. "Morning." Kenzie said with a friendly smile. "If I could get just a large black coffee and a chocolate chip muffin, that would be lovely." She pulled out her debit card and paid for her items. She looked around trying to find a place where she could sit to work on some songs, she settled on the high seats that were a long the side of where the baristas made the coffee. She had no other choice.
Tony walked over to the girl that had sat down a few feet away from him. "Er, here's your coffee, and your muffin should be ready soon." he told her. "Sorry about the lack of seating today, miss. We aren't usually this crowded." he said, an apologetic look upon his face. "Have you been here before? You look familiar." he asked before handing her the muffin. 'She's also quite beautiful.' Tony thought to himself.
Kenzie looked up from her song book, she had been working really hard on a new song. She ran a youtube channel and would try to post a new song every couple of weeks. She smiled as her coffee was brought to her. "Why thank you, and alright sounds good to me. And it's okay, I would prefer sitting away from others right now" She took a sip from the coffee and rose an eyebrow. "I've actually never been here before, you may have seen me walking by a couple of times. I have to pass by this place on my way to work." She set the coffee back down and closed the book so he couldn't see what she had been doing.
