Here are some pre-made houses for you guys:
Carranon
Sigil:
Homeland: The Red Coast
Specialties:
- Superior Infantry: The Kingdom of Carranon has the largest army, filled with the best infantry, which have won them their position as a dominant power. A wall of Carronian infantry is nigh impenetrable, strong and durable.
- The Gateway to the World: The Carranons has control of the largest and busiest waterways in the world, giving them a lot of power over the other nations
- Political Superiority: The Carronian Nobility is filled with the most cunning, vile and manipulative nobles in all the kingdoms, another reason they came to power.
Royal Family: The Queen (TBA)
History: The history of Carranon is bloody and cruel, filled with backstabs, lies, and other nefarious acts. Since the Great War, Carranon has exploited its dominance, puppeteering the other nations into serving it, and applying great taxes to anyone who wants to trade at The Gateway.
Behavior: Known generally for being cruel and merciless because of their past, the Carronians have dominated the world's political and economic theater, exploiting the resources and governments of the surrounding nations to serve their own purposes. However, as talk of open war begins to stir, they are desperate to continue their dominion.
Military: They have a powerful military, with strong knights, impressive walls of infantry, but poor archers. Their cavalry is nonexistent. Their archers are militia at best, but their true power lies in their navy. Their Navy is the best in the land with quicker, deadlier, and more ships than anyone else.
Economy: Linham's economy is very strong due to them owning The Gateway. On top of that, they are also one of the biggest agricultural nations, as the soil around Caileth is very fertile.
Religion: WIP
Duraquiim
Sigil:
Homeland: The eastern part of The Eastern Isle
Specialties:
- Masters Of The Saddle: The people of Shaabath are some of the most skilled horsemen Ielyth has seen. Their heavily armored Mamlukes are more than an equal match for any knight, and their light cavalry and horse archers can out maneuver almost any force, picking them to pieces while the main force draws in.
- Spice Monopoly: Vaaya is the only continent where valuable spices like Saffron, Vanilla, and Ginger can be found, alongside many others. The only other kingdom with natural access is the Mayana Kingdom, but even they lack the abundant supply available to the Shaabathi. This abundance of spice allows the Shaabathito make quite a lot of money.
- Hardy Folk: Being from the desert, the Shaabathi are hardy, and are more effective than most others when fighting in heat.
Royal Family: TBA
History: A long time ago, Linham controlled the vast desert of the East, but the Shabaahi (what the people of that place are called) rebelled, freeing itself from foreign control, launching a counter attack against them. The two nations fought bitterly, neither able to best the other. Eventually, they agreed upon a peace treaty, Carranon gave them half of their land back, and agreed to cut their land forces there down to half, but peace was ever unstable between them.
Behavior: Rather isolationist, House Duraqiim does not normally involve itself in conflicts. When it does, it will not stop until whoever has dared to attack it is dead, or kneels to it's lord. House Duraqiim will normally not declare war without being attacked first, unless they are extremely desperate.
Military:Strong and powerful, the millitary of the Shaabathi is able to defend itself. Its strength lies in its cavalry, superior to any other. However, their infantry are equipped in light armor and with rather light weaponry as to not succumb to the desert weather, and their archers wield short bows, which lack the range and power of other bows, such as the Longbow. Because of this, their infantry and archers are inferior to most others. They lack, however, a strong navy.
Economy: The Shaabathi trades spices, but mostly rely on bartering among themselves to get what they need.
Religion: (if you decide to be the first person from Duraqiim, you can fill this out)
Rowan
Sigil:
Homeland:The North part of The Eastern Isle, to the East of Eiche
Specialties:
- Rowan is in the middle of a large, hilly forest, so they are the main producers of lumber in The Eastern Isle, which is essential for all ship building.
- Rowan is also known for their guerilla war fighting style. They use the trees and large amount of cover in their homeland to their advantage, dispatching small troops of men to slowly pick off a larger force.
- Rowan, in their cities by the sea, are also known for their ship builders. They make many ships for different nations, especially Carranon, whose fleet benefits from their contribution.
Royal Family: TBA
History: Rowan has not always had such good relations with Carranon, in fact, at one time they were very at odds with each other. About 35 years ago, however, there was a marriage between the two which strengthened their bond. This was also about the time when Carranon bolstered their fleet a great deal due to a conflict with another threatening nation. Rowan supplied nearly all the lumber and approximately 20% of the fleet’s ships.
Behavior:The Rowan family has always been known to be opportunists. They never start any conflicts themselves, and keep to themselves mostly, trying to stay neutral. However, if a conflict does arise, they always know how to make the best of it. They are not nearly as malicious as some other states, and are nearly always neutral, but they also do not tolerate being pushed around. They will strike back - hard, and they have done so many times in the past. There is a comedic saying the the provinces of the North and Northwest: “Don’t fuck with a Rowan.”
Military: Rowan’s military isn’t very big, but is very skilled. They are mostly archers and cavalry. Their preferred method of attack is to lure their enemies into the dense wood and slowly pick them off. This is an extremely risky method, because you’re bringing your enemy close to home, but has proved effective in the past. Thier navy is small as well, but excellently crafted. They signed a contract with Linham long ago to always have a reduced navy, and in return they would be protected by Linham. This was so that Rowan’s navy could not best Linham’s if they ever turned on each other.
Economy: Rowan trades almost exclusively with Carranon. They need Carranon’s agriculture, and Carranon needs lumber.
Religion: Rowan is not known for being a religious nation, and beliefs are extremely varied from person to person.
