A Sinful Life RP [Sign-Up]

So, since I had a couple people tell me they liked this idea, I'm going ahead and starting the sign-up.


We don't need all seven actual Sins, but having all Seven would be nice. And if anyone else wants to join after all Sin positions have been filled (if that does happen....), they can message me or something. Wouldn't want anyone to feel excluded.


So, here's the character sheet, pretty simple to fill out, but it'll take a bit of imagination. I'll have mine up after a couple people put up theirs.

Another addition the plot is that we were once just regular people, before becoming a great 'Sinlord'. But the kicker is that we cannot remember our deaths. We have vague ideas of what occurred during our lives (which would hint at our present condition as a Sin), but our deaths remain a mystery.


Name - (You'll most often go by the name of your Sin, but a character name is required)


Approximate Age - (The age when you died, and the age you stay)


Sin - (which of the seven Sins you represent: Pride, Envy, Gluttony, Sloth, Wrath, Greed or Lust)


Appearance - (Try to make it appropriate for the Sin you represent)


Powers - (You'll have amazing powers, as a Sinlord. Some we'll all have, but there will be some that are 'Sin-respective'. Try and come up with a power that goes along with the Sin you represent. Only mention your unique power here)


History - (totally optional, but you should have some idea of what your character did in their life)


Personality - (largely based on the Sin you are, here you could mention some quirks, or other things that aren't inherent to your position as a Sinlord)


Domain - (What is your domain like in Hell? The area you live and rule, it can pretty much be whatever you want)

Name - Conor Adams


Approximate Age - 21 to 24


Sin - Pride

Powers - Can copy the skills/powers of someone else perfectly, but a touch weaker. Can fly.


History - Born and breed from elite stock, Conor, now know as Sinlord Pride, was always one step above everyone. You know the saying, 'there's always someone better'? For Conor, there wasn't. The pride allowed his ego to swell to massive proportions, and once he obtained his father's company from the inheritance, he began to better himself further. He stooped to the lowest levels of human corruption to come out on top, and always managed to get away. Then he decided that he too good for even material wealth. That's about where his memories end.


Personality - Despite his overly proud nature, Conor is lacteally relatively repentant. This is completely unexpected of a Sinlord, and is naturally unheard-of until now. Very few people know that Conor has remorse for his actions in life, and he isn't about to tell anyone else. His pride gets in the way of that.


Domain - Pride's domain is the 'Cliff of the Fall', a giant, seemingly endless mountain that has numerous large cities built inside it. These cities function quite well, being a little separate from the rest of Hell. There is of course, still violence and the like, but it is Hell, after all.

Name - Alam(All-am) Nervida


Approximate Age - between 13-18, no one is really sure.


Sin - Sloth

Powers - Sleep-A special power of Sloth that drains the energy from those around her till the point of them having no energy to move at all while she gains it in return. Has a cloud of condesnsed power that she can sit/lay/whatever on.


History - No one knows. She won't tell anyone, she gets this odd look on her face when anyone asks about it. The only answer she had given was, "Put people to sleep." whatever that meant.


Personality -Rather lazy, almost always sleepy, likes taking things slowly. Might be depressed, and actually despises sleeping due to the nightmares that no one knows about, as it is the way Hell tortures her personally. Has a thing for candy.


Domain - It's a relatively quite place compared to the rest of hell, taking place in a land full of mist that you can barely see through. Though most who wander there don't return, but the forest in it does seem to get awfully packed around the time bands of souls travel through it. In the cneter of the forest of mist, a very large hollowed out tree sits, a latern which can be seen through the mist in any direction hangs from the door that is set into it, beconing people to it.

Name - Steven Ridley. Preffers the title "Furher" to be used when he's being addressed.


Approximate Age - About sixty


Sin - Wrath

Powers - Short and easily lit fuse,extremely fast and strong,has unparalelled skill with a sword.


History - He was an officer in the millitary,and punished any infraction harshly,eventualy earning the nickname "Hitler II". He eventually killed several soldiers on the field for simple insubordination while at base. When his crimes were reported,he was sentenced to death by hanging by the UN War Crimes Tribunal. The specifics beyond that are a blur,if not completely blank.


Domain - His realm,known as "The Iron State" takes the appearance of a small,highly militarized nation,with him at the top. It resebles WW II era Europe,which is fitting,considering. It behaves almost as such,too.

Name - Dorian Deangelo


Approximate Age - 24


Sin - Lust


Appearance -

Powers - Can influence people's feelings by infiltrating their heart/mind and plant corrupting seeds of jealousy, paranoia,rage and more.


Can make any substance as hard as steel, including his own body.


Can change his appearance at will, he can literally be anybody or anything.


History - Not much is known about Dorian although he is rumored to have existed for the entire existence of mankind. Causing fights, problems and even murders all over the world by using his powers to influence people on a global scale. Causing them to lose control over their darker emotions and make unforgiveable mistakes. Which directly leads to a larger pool of souls to work with in his Domain.


Domain - His domain is filled with rosegardens as far as the eye can see, but these roses are poisonous. Causing wandering souls that get stung by one of their thorns to lose all control and are then haunted and tormented in a illusionary world that is like a neverending loop of their greatest failures, fears and losses. Mixed in with some demonic insanity ofcourse.

Name - Belial


Approximate Age - 33


Sin - Greed

Powers - Creating illusions of what one wants most, and not just visual, but taste, touch, scent, sound, everything, Greed makes it real, until he ends the spell


Personality - A very intense, ambitious individual, sarcastic but not necessarily humorous. Greed has a share in most of the sins, proud of his attributes, wrathful in humiliation, lusting after pretty much everything, etc etc


Domain - Ironically, Greed doesn't have a domain to call his own, just one little house to in Limbo where he takes his favorites. In an all or nothing mood one day, he made a deal with the devil that he would have hell or no place to rule at all, and, well, he still doesn't rule hell, but his goal is to gain the power to challenge the deceiver himself.

- Wish Needle -


- Wish Needle is a unique technique only capable of being used by the Envy Sinlord. The Wish Needle is a transparent needle-shaped, 3 inch length spike of energy that penetrates the target's soul, causing Envy to take over and corrupt their soul. The first thing the target sees is the first thing they desire, wishing to earn what that sight has. Ex. Should someone be targetted by the Wish Needle and they see a handsome man, they will envy that handsome man and his beauty, doing whatever they are capable of to turn themselves into a near duplicate of them. Most people targetted by the Wish Needle go to such extreme lengths that they will harm themselves greatly, if not going so far as to kill themselves to attain that which they see. -

- There is no record on what Verdana has done in her past, only the fact that she has been on the world since mankind, causing many to seek out what they desire after being hit by the Wish Needle -


[Personality]


- Despite being the Envy Sinlord, Verdana envy's nothing but one thing. Love. She is a demon, always behind the scenes and never havin anyone to love. Because of this, she has no one to defend and seems to be cruel and coldhearted in nature.


[Domain]


- Like herself, Verdana's domain in Hell is a small area (some could say resembling her small heart) with record low temperatures when compared with other domains, with an appearance of a frozen hell. -

Unlike any creature in existence, Gluttony can quite literally consume anything. Emotions, sins, and of course that which is physical - anything that which Gluttony touches can be consumed by being absorbed into his very nature. An all consuming entity of oblivion. That is Gluttony's power and weakness.


[Personality]


Ehriel is a very confident and witty being. He enjoys playing with his meals and takes pleasure in making contracts with individuals to do favors for in order to consume something in exchange... it adds "spice" to the meal as he would put it best.


Aside from that Ehriel doesn't care to much about anything else. He can never be satisfied for long with anything else so there's no point besides waiting to enjoy the next meal. Of course there are occasions where he can find mild amusement, but that like everything else is short lived.


[Domain]


Much like the basic concept of hell, Gluttony's domain is filled with eternal flames that continue to consume all in its path that is not welcomed by their master. It reflects upon the constant hunger which Gluttony can never keep satiated for long.

Powers - The Ability to see the future at any given time. Average human otherwise.


History - Nostradamus was, at first, a mere human. However early in his life he was cursed by not just a demon, but an angel as well. He was given the ability to predict the future by the angel, and the ability to see it at any given time by a demon. Why he never learned, but as time passed and he was supposed to die he simply transcended beyond life or death. He simply exists. (Does not mean he can't die)


Personality - Oddly happy for a person in his state.


Domain - Where ever he wishes to go.


Other - He is being hunted by Heaven. He is wanted on the side of Hell. Varies by the humans. He is immortal (Meaning can't die by natural causes)

I like it! Sounds like fun! But the only thing I have to lay down the law about is the future seeing thing's use in a fight. If you're in a particularly dangerous situation, the power to see directly in the future is muddled, because of the vast possiblities. Makes sense, and limits your abilities fairly. To see what is directly about to happen, you need to be in calm state of mind, in a relatively safe area. Cool?


Otherwise, totally accepted.

Life and Death. Able to destroy or create. Can Fly. Can teleport. Being a creation of god. He is on unearthy origins. Existing in a realm such that he cannot die, or be killed, and must live forever as a slave.


History:


For one reason or another, he was expelled from heaven. In such he was sealed, contracted to forever be a slave of Sloth. He will do any of her bidding without question most of the time.


Personality:


Calm and careful. Ever thinking. Procrastinating. Most of the time resorts to non-violent nature. Often, because of Sloth's long acquaintance to him, can be much like her.

Powers: The ability to send a spirit to hell or heaven, although she can send them they’d still have to get past the gate. Ability to communicate with her ‘Superiors’ in any given place as long as it’s spoken word (saying a prayer). Can fly & Teleport, and deals with the life aspect of things, able to only 'create'.


History: Bred to believe the world was perfect, Carmella lived in a world of innocence separating her from everyone else. She lived with her parents until a suitor was chosen; she was to be married to a stranger, no questions asked. With her best interest in mind, she ran away from home, finding the truth of this world in a rather cruel way. She has yet to remember how she actually died, yet.


Personality: Quiet, Believes in the good of people, Narrow-minded, Kind.


Domain: Resides in heaven, although usually acts as one of the shore-women for the three worlds, and therefore, out often.

Fencing + Maksman skills - unmatched, this earned him his place among the demons, along with his ruthlessness.


History: Augustus was once a great nobleman, a great fill of wine, woman and wealth... in this life of luxury he became ruthless and cruel to his people, often sparing families only so he may "have" their daughter.


after a few years of his rule, banditry became rampant, soon, the people of his lands became resentful of him, chooosing to side with the bandits and raiders.


his villa was stormed, Augustus was hence crucified and publically stoned to death while on the cross, he refused to repent, and his dying words were pathetic begs for mercy and curses at the rebels.


Domain: a jack of all trades, a practitioner of all sins, but a master of none, he is most fond of lust, sloth and gluttony.
