[A Shattered Visage] Takalam bebot’ men fadlek - OOC

Clearly my choice of language in intending to "beat" information from the guy on 7's shoulder has caused quite the issue. 7 wasn't going to resort to violence unless absolutely necessary (even though this guy did shoot her).

Edit: apparently it wasn't him but his associate, but the point still stands.

Midboss: I must have missed something related to your cloak  . Mind refreshing my memory  ?

Righto. That appears to be sorted. As such, we are officially moving onto the next scene.

Act 1.2: Remember That You Were A Slave!

Incidentally, 21 xp for everyone. I don't intend to make one-page threads count in future unless a lot gets done, but because of the bumpiness, I think it's good to provide something to start the game off with some smiles.

Her entrance into the fight. She threw her cloak away, fighting game style. I just wanted a quick gag about her having to find it again.

Also people, I'm still sometimes confused as to who is playing who - could you please write it in your posts?

Yeah, I have to agree with Brekkir. Just for simplicity's sake, put your character's name in bold at the start of the post.

Question.

Ruin had ordered another man in blue to interrupt the attack and follow him.

Has this had any effect?

The man you told to call it off was the one who ran the moment Praan noticed him, and, hence, is the one currently tied to the chair.

As such, no, afraid not.

Just a further note:

For those who may be confused, the Despot's palace is not in the Sunken Bazaar. The slaves were migrating to attack his holdings; the bazaar's center is where his gems are traded, which makes them the wealthiest, most secure part and the area with the greatest concentration of his servants. Some people seemed to be confused about this before.

No doubt, though, the slaves would head there next.

Sorry to lose you, Xarvh. Sorry this wasn't enjoyable for you. Best of luck with wherever you play next.

I'll be using a standard policy for game-droppers from this point forth: Characters who leave will basically just be forgotten about unless scene- or story-crucial at the moment, in which case I shall prepare something. Eventually, someone might comment "Wasn't that guy with you?", if we feel like having a laugh, but that's about it.

Any questions?

Guys, you don't need to plan out the exact details for this. Either you charge out to lead them, or you let the riot peter out.

You have every option in the world but unless you have some reason to discuss tactics, such as some particular plan of action you have in mind, there's really no need to sort out every little minutiae of this.

Anything that needs to be agreed upon can be agreed upon. Any uninteresting discussions can be sorted out in the OOC ("So, basic outline: We keep the slaves from killing civilians and rob some armories on the way.") and just assumed to have been discussed en-route/beforehand.

Also, you sorta blockaded more than got things moving with the whole "Gimme a step by step" breakdown bit.

The last few pages of that thread have been half the group being silent, half going "What do we do!?" and Praan in the middle going "USE COMMON SENSE!" to the point that I feel his head exploding would be an appropriate social stunt at this point.

And then there was Ezria, who just sorta wandered into the scene midway through, but was actually interesting and didn't actually impede anything. Cudos, Skrakes.

As said before, I can appreciate a need for plans and tactics, but they don't have to be nailed down to the last detail IC. Unless there's something truly interesting about your new plan of action, you either agree to go or not go, and any other details can be sorted out on the sideline. Otherwise, we lead up to things like... Well... This.

Sure; a last, over-the-shoulder shout, if it absolutely has to be said there instead of at the riot or on the way to it.

Just so you know, I'm still here. I just won't be able to do anything until, y'know, someone... Does something.

So... is there somewhere I can fly to in order to analyze the battlefield-to-be and guess where TSG could be, if she is even here?

If you're asking whether you can find a place to fly up to, then yes you can.

Generally, though, trying to spot a person you don't know, who hasn't made themselves known, out of a chaotic crowd of hundreds is going to be a fruitless endeavour.

If you've got some interesting trick up your sleeve to identify TSG somehow, I say go for it, but otherwise, it's little more than "I'm over here now!"
