Can I have the illegitament child

Sure! Just a couple things, he does need to be male, a life mage, and he currently doesn't live with his parents, but with guardians. He is at the palace for court, however. And, he can be what ever age you wish, so long as it is under 21.

Yes, but depending on whether your characters father has died or not, he won't actually have any of the power, nothing except the title.
