Futuristic A Scientifically Sound Superhero RP

Now You guys are getting it Practicality is Irrelevant in the eyes of Infinity. As long as the math is there.

Lol Aye bro When I was in Seventh Grade I was fighting Majin Buu with the power of a Super Sajian 3 while the rest of my team members were KOed. Being Scientifically sound was the last thing on my mind, Enjoy yourself, for now, lol (Tbh It's a headache trying to read up on all these subatomic rules and regulations that govern our universe especially when I'm not even a science Major)

Does that mean that parallel universes actually coexist but they're so far from each other that we consider them separate, but really they're not?

There are several theories on that (I may not know much about science but I spend enough time on the Internet (and tv tropes in particular) to gather info on the multiverse theories. And essentially that would chalk up to the literal definition of a parallel universe. It's right next too us but it's really far away (so we can't travel to it without breaking the light barrier.

So Rick's portal gun is just a normal portal gun, not a multi-dimensional portal gun. Fair enough, I guess.

I GOING TO STOP YOU RIGHT THERE. Trying to understand Why Protons and Electrons do what they do is bad enough. I REFUSE TO THINK ABOUT THAT...but I'd have to agree with BackSet BackSet cause I haven't studied that side of the spectrum as much as I would like.

Try to take some of the things I say with a grain of salt. Like I said I get a lot of my information from tv tropes (and browsing the Internet for video game theories) so some of it might not be sound.

Travelling backwards in time will destroy the world or something I think... According to Austin from Game Theory, anyways.

Time travel is impossible as time is a concept made up by humanity. Things only ever move forward. Hours, seconds, minutes, and other measurements are not truly real. They only exist because of humanity's need to understand, classify, and own everything.

Not really. Time is real, but it's also relevant or something. I don't know, Morty, but time isn't a tool you can put on the wall or wear it on your wrist.

Actually, 'Time' is just the label humans have slapped on the "Fourth Dimension." It exists as a plane of reality that we move through the same way we move through the first three dimensions, but time forces us to move through it forward at a constant rate. However! Since we are dealing with possibilities outside of the normal capabilities of normal humans, perhaps somewhere in the realm of these powers our characters will have is one who can move through the 4th Dimension the same you and I move through the first 3, some motion through time that lets them travel back and forth between points in the constant timeline the rest of reality is forced to travel on. Now picture this, multiple travelers of the 4th dimension meeting at a certain point in "time", so they are in a pocket dimension that only those that meet each other there can interact. The rest of the world around them is "paused" as they travel and fight in between fractions of seconds.

Now picture this, since this is an infinite universe theory, there are technically infinite copies of infinite time travelers slipping in between infinite fractions of every second in infinite places at once, so theoretically the very workings of the universes and the motion of every atom in everything in existance is powered by the motion of these time travelers slipping invisibly past them at every infinite point in time.

In the end, physical reality is an illusion forced upon "normal" people by the motion of a single person who is infinitely everything at once. We are all dreams of a split second in time spread across all of the infinite universes. We are all one.

Well Damn...kinda speechless...just...well played mate gg

I'm not yet sold on this completely but I'll keep an eye on it.

By the way, the fundamental force is electromagnetism, not electricity. And you also seem to be confusing the infinite universe theory with the infinite universes theory. The former wouldn't have infinite copies because there is only a finite amount of matter; the latter is the one where anything and everything is happening.

Also, thinking of a fourth dimensional being residing in a three dimensional space would give you something a la Flatland. They wouldn't just be able to move around in the fourth dimension, but from their perspective, they would look like an endless worm made out of copies from every moment in which they exist.

More nitpicking because might as well, splitting a single atom (and the amount of energy depends on which element you are splitting) wouldn't release enough energy to destroy a city. As far as I know, even one atom of U-235 produces a minuscule amount of energy when split.

Yeah once I get the world sorted out (writing chracter backstories in order to get a feel of the world.)
