Futuristic A Scientifically Sound Superhero RP

For generations now we have centered our RPs around the ideas of elements (Fire, Water, Air, Etc). But I have news for you ITS BULLSHEET!!! Those are the elemental forces of a caveman. Its 2017 Refresh that page.
I'm thinking we take a new approach to this. A much more Scientific Approach.
The universe is based on 4 (maybe 5) fundemental forces: Gravity, Electromagnetism, Strong, and Weak Nuclear Forces. The reason we exist is because of the way these forces interact. These are the building blocks of the universe. These are the ELEMENTS of the universe. These should be what powers should be based on. Click here for more information. With that said my Idea is admittedly crude but nonetheless unique (Id like to think so). Eitherway I may have sorted out a few things but first THE PROMO.

Having the ability to control the very composition of subatomic particles. This is a world plagued by diversity, discrimination, and destruction. This world now stands at the precipice of either that development of its own greater understanding of what it is or the loss of another question with only one more unanswered. That planet called Earth"

(BTW this is all based on a infinte universe theroy I have dont hesitate to pm if your curious.)

THANK YOU SOMEONE HAS REALIZED THIS Idea really came to me when I was thinking of dbz (Of all things right) The way I see it this would have a x-men-es feel to it because this takes place in a world where people discriminate those with these abilities (not powers)

I tried to make a superhero RP before. I never got around to finishing the 'lore' to it, but one of the more powerful NPC-ish characters was one who had one single ability, and it was that he could change the properties of atoms and sub-atomic particles. I think that if somebody had this ability then he's virtually invulnerable.

Thats the whole philosophy of the Idea. These people have the capacity to blow up a city but the only reason none of them don't is because if they split an atom they get taken in the blast. Think of everyday people like you and me (that will die if thrown into a building) and give them the abilities to control electromagnetic currents. The thing about this RP is that its practical and if a Character that can emit gamma radiation does his thing he poisons himself and those around him.

I recently watched Avatar and I thought "hey, shouldn't firebenders be able to have full control over the human body and mind because they do some electric stuff and things? Shouldn't earth people be able to do that as well because we're carbon-based lifeforms and carbon comes from the earth? Shouldn't airbenders control trees because they're mostly made out of air (according to Kyle Hill, anyways)?"

and JSing those Protons, Neutrons, and Electrons you were mentioning are governed BY The fundamental Forces Mentioned Earlier.
So Technically they aren't the building blocks...they're the block designers which is even more important.

This is an Actual Theory, Yes but I haven't looked into personally (TBH I've been reading in detail about the Fundamental Forces) I mention the theory because: IF the universe is infinite that means probability is not a matter of IF but WHERE so GOING on the basis of known science and math. Mathematically speaking You could Phase through a wall and in a INFINITE universe (Probability is a factor of where) Then somewhere out there someone just phased through a wall AND (Maybe) Somewhere out there This story I'm creating is a reality. Just a matter of Where
