Hello, everyone!
It feels great to sit here and type these words. I'm making my introduction because I consider myself very new to this site. I actually started down my path with RPNATION back in February of 2015. I started a thread (I guess that's what you call it?) that a few close friends and I had agreed on, but it didn't take long for some of them to lose interest, resulting in my rather extensive hiatus ever since... Until now.
All that was back in the days of early high school. Believe me when I say a LOT has happened since then. After around 9th(?) grade or so I decided to lock away my creative instinct, in writing at least. I didn't have much time for it back then, and truth be told, that hasn't changed too drastically... I now sit in my college dorm as a first semester Creative Writing major. I guess I came around full circle!
I never forgot about how much I loved my experiences with roleplaying, and I never gave up on a few of them. I still go on the occasional D&D adventure, dress in a popular cosplay, and I'm even going LARPing here shortly. The world of imagination has always excited me... and so has writing. I figured it was time to break out the quill and ink again, combining two of my very favorite things.
Now, I'll be totally honest with you.. I'm still not completely sure if this is worth it. But believe me when I tell you that I want it to be! I'm excited to dip my toes into the community, venturing out into this crazy world, and maybe picking up a few friends along the way.

I can also totally relate holding back your creative talents, my parents told me writing would get me nowhere, and that bummed me out and I'm very conscious about it to this day. But still I trudge on, because I love to write and RP, even if only for fun! I hope both of us find this whole thing worth it!
