| Steaking It! - Houston, TX
Chase was wuffling up a storm when the scents of the steakhouse hit him. He ordered the lamb, with a small porterhouse steak on the side, and he skipped the trimmings. He just wanted meat. He'd see how filling his order was before adding in maybe a sirloin or two.
Now, even though he felt downright ravenous, Chase had manners when eating in human form. And he savored each bite all the more for it. Wuffle wuffle. The grin given to Leif was a happy one, so very happy to have tasty food.
"Yeah, I've had some of those moments. Mostly just the pain though." The wolfish grin grew, "I know it'll return, the pain, but I can live with a dull ache." Chase occasionaly had to force himself to slow down eating, he didn't want to miss a single moment of flavor.
"Oh man. I haven't had a steakhouse in way too long, apparently." He was mindful of not talking with his mouth full. Runners had to always have proper etiquette when they were on the job, and some of it just became habit. Wuffle wuffle.
"It's been a lot of rabbits, squirrels, sometimes a small deer depending on the season." One eyebrow lifted with a bit of a shrug. "You adapt. I guess we all do in some manner." Wuffle. He was also the curious sort, if that wasn't clear by now. "Does it all taste different for you?"
