Fandom A New Westeros; Game of Throne RP.

I think that I'm of similar to mind as Selee. If there's a possibility to include dragons, then I'd be overjoyed to join. I love the idea of a game of thrones RP that focuses on character development/interaction.

Agreed! Something focused less on the politics would be really interesting!

Alright guys, seems we've got 6 so far. I'm thinking of a way to integrate everyone's character into the storyline. For that, I'll need a few more people to send me their character template.

Interesting, I'll join. I have my own ideas on how post-GoT era (in its early years) would play out like Arya coming back from the Sunset Sea which open for more explorations to the uncharted Western part of the known world. Bronn and House Blackwater (Bronn's house) as Lord Paramount of the Reach. Dothraki settling in northern Reach with autonomy which they would later rebel against the Crown and failed horribly which the Dothrakis are hunted down and killed, etc.

I might play as House Blackwater of Highgarden and create a family tree. I'll contribute to the storyline if the OP wants to.

Also, are we going to focus on Westeros only?

EDIT: To add, I assume that the Seven Kingdoms no longer exists (for now) - correct? Since we're following the TV Show timeline.

Oooh, traveling eventually would be very cool.

I've got to flesh this out a bit more, but if dragon eggs are a possibility and isn't too cheesy then I'd be interested in playing a bastard character descended from a noble house and from a line of forgotten dragonseeds. Having acquired a dragon egg, they're legitimized and currently adjusting to some of the finer politics now that they're in a position that demands additional responsibilities and risks associated with being an heir.

That or if they were descended from a house such as the Greyjoys/a house from the Iron Isles then perhaps they grew to resent the competition between themselves and their families and have been trying to raise a dragon in secret so that they can seek their freedom on dragon wings instead of sails. Instead, they find their plans disrupted as they've been sent to represent their house because their other siblings are too valuable to send off. They hide their plan from others.

(@selee fromor perhaps the families of our characters could have conspired together regarding dragon eggs. I'd be fond of playing a character that is hired to steal/finds themselves accidentally stealing a dragon egg only for it to hatch for them and then be stuck with the responsibility for a dragon, as well as the drama that comes with it).

I could see a secret marriage alliance between the Blackfyres and Greyjoys, to solidify their hold on Westeros.

Greyjoy dragon eggs could very well be a useful bargaining tool, especially if the Blackfyres don’t have any of their own.

Anyone playing as the Martell child? I would be interested in roleplaying a Martell recalled from adventuring in Essos to become acquainted with the other up and coming lords.

Anyone wants to play as another Blackwater child? For House Blackwater, I will play as the current head and the youngest. I'm also planning to play as the old Arya Stark coming back from Westeros (if I'm permitted to by the OP) and son/s of Aegon Targaryen/Jon Snow. Meaning, I will play 3-4 characters.

I’d be fine with that!

I'm still working on the overall situation in the North. I've settled on them building their economy around lumber and furs, while slowly moving their main military force to longbowmen.

Awww I always associated the Northmen with a more noble up close and personal type of warriors, swords and axes kinda men

Look a man in the eyes when you strike him down kinda attitude not shooting him from a hundred yards away

I don't see anyone grabbing Baratheon

Think I might make a character in that house, one that's destined to rule but has no patience or tolerance for the pampered coddled lifestyle of a lord and instead wishes to be in the thick of battle cleaving men in two with his mighty blade. (Which is rumored to be made of mammoth tusk but nobody know's for certain)
