The Rogue Glitch
Winter walks into the secret club, looking all around. It didn't make him comfortable to be in a place like this. He was here for one reason, and that was to save someone's life tonight. No one was truly in danger of death, but he hoped he could help someone escape this life style.

The club itself was loud, boisterous and extremly packed. The room had many false doors and walls, which Winter could see being shuffled around. A man, dressed what looked like the manager from the Moulan Rouge, sauntered up and threw an arm around his shoulder.

"Ah, you must be Winters! Come, you wished to see the... 'merchandise', yes?"

Winter looked like he was creeped out at first, but sighed and nodded. "Yep. I'm ready to see what you have." He said honestly to the man. "And you are?" He asked.

The man nodded and wrapped his arm around him tighter, "Let's get going!" He walked him to a wall, where he hit a seemingly random tile. The wall slid open. They walked inside.

"Bring out the girls!" A cartaker nodded and vanished, retrieving a row of twenty chained together, naked nekos. All of them looked a bit abused and none looked Winter in the eye.

Winter looked a bit saddened by the state. He couldn't believe anyone would do such a thing! But he knew why he was here. He only had enough money to take one away from this suffering, so he had to pick carefully. He went a bit closer, but not face to face with them. He soon saw a long, grey haired girl that looked about his age. She looked like she had been through more than any of the rest. He went back over to the man. "Her." He said as he pointed her out.

The neko looked up. She was thin, had bruises, and her cheek had been recently cut. She nodded as the caretaker released her. She tripped and fell against him.

"Bad Alena!" The manager hit her and then looked ot Winter, "You may rename her if you so wish. Anyhow, do we have a deal?"

Winter growled slightly. "We have a deal. But do me a favor, learn some respect before I have to have my bodyguard teach it to you. And believe me, you don't want to feel his wrath." He said, then bent down to the girl. "Alena..come on. We're getting out of here, okay?" He said softly and offered a hand to help her up.

"Let us not forget that I also hold the cards." He hcuckled, "Let us confirm this deal." He pulled out a checkbook, "Now, I have to say, we have access to your bank account until the monetary value is paid off. Now, you may go."

Alena looked up and flinched when he extended his hand, but slowly and gently wrapped her fingers around it.

He nods. "Fine. You will have your money."

He looked to the girl again, seeing her wrap her fingers around his hand. He slowly helped her to her feet, then began walking away with her.

Alena walked over as the caretaker threw some dirty undergarments at her. She put them on and then walked out with him, pressing her body to him. he noticed she was actually a little shorter than him.

Winter held her close and sighed, being gentle. He knew she probably wouldn't trust him for a while, but he would do his best to make sure she would. "Hey, you don't have to worry about being hurt or anything anymore. I came to take all that away." He said. "I promise, you won't have to go through anything like that again." He said honestly and softly.

Nodding ever so gently, she shivered in his embrace. she opened her mouth, "I-I am... I am Alena... what... what is your name... master?" She whispered, wrapping her arms around his waist for protection.

He could see how hurt and scared she was. "You don't have to call me master, Alena. My name is Winter." He said to her as he soon lead her out of the club and over to his car. He opened the door for her.

"I-If you so wish Mr. Winter." She followed him and stepped into the car, sitting down and pulling the betl. When she didn't do so, the belt pulled back. She yelped and jumped up, shivering.

He saw she was scared and came back over to her side. "It's okay, don't worry about that." He said as he slowly helped her put the seat belt on. "See? Nothing to be afraid of." He said, then got in on his side. "Do you need a moment?" He asked.

She shook her side. She remained silent and looked around the car in wonder, not sure exactly waht this was. She shivered a little bit.

He looked at her. "It will be alright. Let's get you to my house." He said, then started the car. He moved slowly since she probably wasn't used to it and then began driving home.

He looked a bit worried as he drove. "Hey are you okay?" He asked. They were almost to his house. He was stupid for asking that question, of course she wasn't. She was scared, obviously, and it wasn't something easy to fix.

She gave a little whimper and hugged herself to the chair. Her claws came out of her fingernails and she gripped onto the chair, whimpering and shivering as violently as she could possibly could.

He sighed, knowing very well he couldn't comfort her. They soon reached his house, which seemed like a mansion from the outside. He stopped the car outside and got out, then went over to her side. He opened a door and offered a hand to help her out. "It's okay.." He said.

Alena took his hand and nodded to him, "T-Thank you..." She carefully put her feet down onto the pavement, shivering a little as she felt something that wasn't carpet. She bega nto look up to the house and realized... this wasn't as bad as she thought.

He nodded and walked with her, opening the door to his house for her. He smiled as they entered. "Welcome to your new home." He said to her. It was truly a big house, he didn't like calling it a mansion. He was rich, but didn't like flaunting it.

Alena nodded, "d-do you wish to rename me master?" She asked, looking down. She never looked him in the eyes. Not once would she look him.

He shook his head. "Of course not, why would I do that? Your name is perfect the way it is." He said. He could understand why she wouldn't look at him and hoped to make her comfortable enough to at least do that.
