height, weight, and physique
6" / 185 lbs. His body is mesomorphic and corded with muscle, leading him to look like a statuesque hero from another time and another place.
hair
Brown like ashen wood, with highlights of blond and honey from the sun. His hair is wild and untamed, only within control when he has it tied back for formal settings.
eyes
Almond eyes, teeming with the blue-green akin to the Mediterreanean Seas.
style
Elijah's style is based on how he is feeling for the day. He has an abundance of clothes, jewelry, and accessories that give depth to his look. He usually sports a darker vibe of clothing, accentuating his form and showcasing his eclectic nature.
Strengths:
Elijah has been a warrior since a little over 900 BC. This means he has seen most of the worlds most infamous clashes. He may have been gifted with superhuman abilities, but the mind must be made to know the difference for a time of restraint and a time for full bloodlust. Elijah can wield both blade and gun, though he prefers the weapons of his homeland. It is said that his brawling spirit is most graceful, but his key skill is his intuition. His ability to assess the nature of his focus aspires to that of an oracle. When he's wrong, he's wrong about it. But, when he's right it's dead on target. And, for 2 thirds of the year, he's robust and full of life. You can even see it in his appearance.
Weaknesses: While he serves Persephone, he's just as much of a tool for Hades. The threat of the Lord of the Underworld's constant, looming gaze upon him keeps him from restrained. Elijah doesn't let anyone get too close because of this. If Hades has any inclination that Elijah has a bond that he can't afford to lose he'll use that as insurance against the Champion. So, Elijah chooses to still his heart--except when he can't. For one third of the year, he's grim. His visage is cold and death-like. When in this state, he can be thought of as a person who'll do anything for the means of getting it done...even at risk of himself.
Weapons/Gifts: Elijah has one weapon that has survived through the ages and eludes description. It started as a falcata, but evolves to the times every spring, when the Goddess returns to the world. The tang is engraved with a spiral of flowers that turn into skulls with the passing of the year. This weapon even struck out the eye of the Titan during the original battle against it. And, if you ask Elijah, it's itching to take the other one too.
The Champions
The Leader: Elijah feels a kinship to the Leader due to their similarities of being born as bastards. The Leader shines with the blessings of their God and leads with a wisdom & fierceness that rivaled that of even himself. Elijah would come to reject the zealous nature of the Leader. Why choose to be enslaved when their are things much more important than serving either tyrant?
The Bull: Elijah can sometimes mirror the strength of the Bull, but differs from them in terms of restraint. He worries that the Bull is too agressive with their tactics, leading to unnecessary derailments of the ultimate plan. However, he agrees that there is a time and place for utter destruction. The utter wrecking of an opposing force can be the difference between peace and complete calamity.
The Strategist: Judgement is the result of action. And, if things go according to plan the just can limit how far those actions ripple out. Elijah works well with the strategist, for they keep him level headed at times. They can pinpoint options that could keep the world in check. With that being said, he can get annoyed with how limited the Strategist is with all that potential. Chaos is needed to balance out the order and Elijah feels that the Strategist is biased in order to keep themself sated within the illusion of a black and white world.
The Optimist: Elijah sometimes wishes he shared the same kind of devotion that the Optimist has for the Gods. Blessed or cursed, there is a divine purpose within them all. Elijah wishes to continue serving Persephone only though, not the entire span of pantheons. The Optimist makes him wonder if he'd have accepted the role of Champion had he not been saved by Persephone.
The Pragmatist: Elijah wishes to save the Pragmatist from themself...even if that means ending them. At the mere mention of joining the very Titan they struggled to contain a line was drawn in the sand. Trust is always fickle to the heart. Whatever happened to the Pragmatist should not effect the entire fate of this realm, no matter how much Elijah wishes to see the other gods fall. And, if it is within his power, he will make sure of that.
The Healer: The only person Elijah wishes wasn't a part of this disaster of a task. The Healer is the only reaso they survived the first instance of the Titan. They are the thread that kept the Champions sewn together. Regardless of if the Gods survive or not, he wishes that the Healer find freedom and make it out alive.
The Hedonist: The lush need not ever cross Elijah or risk withering into a husk at the might of his power.
The Wildcard: They can be as reckless as they want, but the Wildcard knows not to fuck with Elijah. And Elijah knows not to overstep his boundaries either. They play it cool and are most likely the closest out of the Champions. Elijah worries thatthey might see too closely eye to eye and the Wildcard might jump ship and destroy the gods themselves, Persephone included. So, they walk a tightrope with one another, each hoping that the other stays in place and can wait until the right moment to strike.
The Executioner:
abilities
As well as heightened senses, strength, and durability, the blessings of Persephone are strong through her Champion.
Lifespan Manipulation:
Elijah can alter the lifeforce of those who he deems deserving. He can do so by choosing to grant them more time by removing and absorbing their death, or send them to their deaths by taking their life force within himself.
Oblivion Manipulation:
A new power that's slowly developing within him, Elijah can control the destruction in all of it's forms. He can hasten or slow the break down of matter, control the rate of how something is destroyed, and decide which aspects of that thing are destroyed. It's a fairly new power and he's only been able to summon a little of the ability when he is overwhelmed and frantic. But, with enough practice and control, who knows what can transpire of this "gift".
personal
Connection to the Goddess:
Elijah views Persephone in the same light he would of an older sister. They are very old friends and think highly of one another. He thinks she's very wise and capable, considering the situation they are in. All he wants to do is spend more and more time in her light. She is often amused by his attempts to impress her with his worldly views. Elijah is often visted by Persephone, especially in the spring. They share the same disdain for the Gods and their rule over everything. She wishes that they step down and let a new pantheon arise. A new set of gods who could lead the old ones into a new era. Elijah agrees, but they both know the Old Ones won't relinquish their chokehold on their world. Elijah is worried that if the Old Gods fade, so to would Persephone with them. And, that bit of doubt is the only thing keeping him on their side.
Values:
wise
optimistically sad
patient
loyal
wistful for love
reckless
Alignment: Chaotic Good
Without regard to what others expect of him, Elijah acts as his conscience directs him. His way is his own, but he is benevolent and kind. The law is rarely important to him, but he believes in altruism and goodness. It annoys him when people intimidate others and tell them what to do. Though good, he may not follow society's moral compass.
Loyalties: Loyal, though vigilant of the Gods' intentions. He's constantly looking for a way, a loophole where everyone can get what they want. However, he's not an idiot. He knows that the war is only covering up a deeper problem amongst the Gods and the Champions--the fact that they could potentially fall to one another if the Titan really sunk his hooks into their psyches. And, though it's Elijah's opinion that something new be done in place of the Old Ways, he will protect his Goddess and her will at all costs.

coming to terms
When Elijah was born, it was in secret. The lord of the land was lecherous and, at that time, there was little his mother could do to turn away the advances of the Greecian noble. She worked the entire pregnancy, but took time to prepare with one of the few mid-wives in the court. It was on a cold winter solstice that the babe was born. His mother knew that this meant he was destined for something incredible.
Elijah was gifted with his mother's beautiful features, translated into the face of a male. But, his eyes were that of his father's, down to the color and shape. The boy played and worked by day, while his mother secretly collected money from the nobleman and saved it. It was all she could do to ensure that Elijah could have a future of his own. In time, he proved to have the kind of heart that was almost as fabled as the gods themselves. He helped the elderly, sick, and anyone who needed it. All he asked for in return was for those people to do the same when they could.
As they boy grew, so did the love for him from the other servants and even the nobleman's wife. She wanted to pay Elijah's mother to arrange a marriage between one of her daughters and him. His mother considered it but realized that he wasn't particularly interested in the wiles of a woman, let alone his half-sister. He had 25 years of life before the Lady of the house demanded that the two be betrothed. Elijah's mother knew it was time to take the money and leave with her son. By the time there was any suspicion, they were already gone.
Elijah ad his mother took up residence with a man, a good man, whom his mother would eventually fall for and marry. They tended a farm, which had enough for that time. The family had three years of peace before tragedy struck. Elijah's stepfather passed on in his sleep, leaving the two to fend for themselves. What little prosperity they had left was gone and the farm suffered from it too. Elijah toiled hard, to no prevail. Soon, his mother became stricken with sicknesws and despair. It was with her last words that she asked him to live for himself, calling him her last hope for the world. She faded away and he was left all alone. He grieved for two months of time, but stood tall when he was ready. He didn't have a plan, but he knew that something more was out there for him.
the descent
Elijah left home in order to go to Sicily, taking with him the clothes on his back and three days worth of food. With his mother gone, there was nothing keeping him on the small farm, which still hadn't had the fortune of Demeter's blessing. The man aimed to make something of himself, with his kind heart and devotion to help anyone in need. He was strong and smart, and with his kind heart someone would take him and make him of some use. He just knew it.
He took in the sight of the land and did not rush his pace. The man saw many beautiful things that made him glad to be alive in those moments. Optimism was his nature and he felt blessed by the gods to know he was actually beginning living for himself. It was on the third day that he had the honor of seeing a deity in motion. The flowers bloomed at her footsteps. The wind flowed through her hair, cool to the touch but full of life and grace. He watched as she danced in the field and transformed it into a lush garden. It was lovely, but such things never last.
Elijah watched as He took her.
She had paused to look at the flowers that weren't like the wild ones that bloomed in her wake. The Asphodel, flowers that were said to only grow in the Elysian Fields. At her touch, the flowers developed vines and ensnared her hand. She tried to pull away, to flee the grasp that was on her. It was then that Elijah knew that something was terribly wrong. He didn't think as his breath hitched and he ran toward her.
Persephone cried out as a tear in the fabric of their realm ripped open to a swirling mist of the afterlife--The Underworld. Elijah did not stop, even when the Lord of Hades emerged from the mist and unveiled himself. Elijah panicked in frozen fear as he peered upon the most beautiful visage he'd ever seen. Alabaster skin that held an ethereal aura, a river of ebony hair that flowed past His back, and eyes that seemed like the very stars that hung in the night sky. Elijah almost stopped at the sight.
Almost.
He reached the tear just as the Lord of Hades enveloped her, reaching her hand in the nick of time. At their contact, his hands began to burn and he screamed in agony. Persephone begged for Elijah to save her and he tried, with all his might. But, in the end, he was only mortal. He was dragged beneath the waves of the Underworld as well. Upon reaching the depths of his fortress, Elijah, Persephone fell to the ground as the king of that domain towered before them. A pomergranate tree loomed near them, it's ripe fruit laying at their feet.
"Mortal," a dark, buttery baritone echoes off walls that could not be seen, "You dare enter my domain? And rob me of my queen?" Elijah shuddered at the sound of metal scraping across the ground. He held tight onto Persephone's hand as Hades weilded his bident. Elijah closed his eyes, knowing that the death would be swift. It was then that he heard the words "Thank you," in a whisper. The bident struck, but did not his it's intended mark. Elijah opened his eyes and saw that Persephone had the spoke of the bident in one hand and a pomergrante in the other. He watched as her golden skin became cold and pale as the skin of Hades himself.
"I have eaten the fruit of this realm and become Queen of Death...and Rebirth." she said, her own voice echoing like that of Lord Hades. "I choose this man, this one who'd risk his life for that of mine, to live as my Champion. Even you cannot revoke my claim." As she claimed him, Elijah could feel a new kind of strength and power flow into his body, into his veins. He stood up behind her, an otherworldly aura of his own enveloping him. The silence between the three was palpable. Hades held for two beats, then withdrew his weapon.
"Very well, Wife." the baritone said, quietly, "He shall live as your Champion...and if he ever fails you...death will be the least of his worries." Hades then flung his fingers out at the man and he was whisked up and away.
Elijah awoke in the very field he'd disappeared from, transformed and invigorated. He felt little need for food or rest and he had a purpose--to be the hand of Death and Rebirth herself.
a higher power
Elijah lived, through the changing of the Earth's features, through times of sorrow, and through times of joy. Seeing with his Queen in the times when she was released from her duties became a routine he was fond of. They became kindred spirits and he would come to know her even when she wasn't physically there. Elijah would see her in the renewal of the trees and the tenderness of the animals awakening from their winter slumber.
However, even in their liveliness, they were still connected to the dead. Elijah discovered one of his powers early on and used it with the highest of discernment. He could see and take in the death of someone who was about to perish before their time. With that power, he could also transfer that very death to someone else. He used it with upon the deserving--from those who were innocent or could be redeemed to the most twisted and damned of souls. He did not alter all world changing events, he could not. But, some names of the foulest lives were wiped away from life by his hand.
It wasn't long before he met others like himself. They were gathered to rid the world of something akin to a tyrant. Kraniais. Together, they banished the Titan to Tarturus, opting for containment in fear that the destruction would be mutual to that of the world. The 10 Champions were then left to their own devices on how to serve the gods and keep balaqnce in the world. Elijah worked as a jack of all trades, amassing a fortune over the years that he uses to keep himself in plain sight. Most of the profits go on to fund relief around the world. Right now, he is known as the sole heir of the Hope Research Foundation. But, with the discovery of a new power and melancholy whispers of concern from his Queen, Elijah is worried that even the divine works of their masters might not save them this time. And, he feels that maybe they shouldn't.
NAME Victor Strange NICKNAME Vic, Strange AGE 29 GENDER Male SEXUALITY Bisexual/Homoromantic
HEIGHT 6′2″ (1.88 m) WEIGHT 180 lbs (81.65 kg)
SPECIES Faltine/Mhurruk (Dark Dimension) Humanoid Tribrid P.O.B Dark Dimension CHILD OF Doctor Strange & Clea Strange
APPEARANCE
Victor is most often quite scruffy in nature, with unkempt clothes and even wilder unkempt hair, though he does sometimes try to make an effort depending on the occasion. Not one for formalities much, or social cues for that matter, Victor essentially doesn't care what someone else thinks of him or how he chooses to present himself. He's not there to please others. A baggy white shirt that has never seen an iron before? Sure, why not? Those jeans with holes of an unknown nature? Yeah, put them on. His frame can best be described as quite muscular, with an impressively structured body with no overly large muscles nor lean muscles. Victor tries to maintain his physical fitness at times since he's always stuck up in his room doing god knows what, this is more an obligatory task because he needs to regularly maintain his physical health so his body can take the strain of using magic.
In terms of attire, he dons his father's cosmic suit he made that allowed him to traverse various dimensions and places in space without being adversely affected by its condition. The suit is made out of a mix of various materials that exist in other dimensions and in space which allows for its protective properties. With the Symbol of the Vishanti woven into the suit's chest area. He also wears a magical sash his father used to wear and a small pouch bag on the side of his hip that holds lesser trinkets. And lastly to top that off is the Cloak of Levitation and the Eye of Agamotto that he wears with it.

- Victor Strange
PERSONALITY
Victor gives an impression to all who meet him of total enigma and utter ominosity. Victor is something of a gruff and aloof sort of person when he's not with his immediate inner circle of friends. He doesn't tend to be outgoing and often seems to be wearing a frown, which doesn't help open conversations with strangers. He tends to cherish his privacy and doesn't appreciate people poking their noses into his personal life. He knows that a lot of what he's done is still wrong, but even so, he doesn't like to talk about it.
He is defined by several overpowering personality traits, some of which are at direct odds with one another. What bridges all of it is his confidence. Victor Strange takes great pride in his ability to depend upon himself for just about anything, and never finds a situation too grim for hope. He's of the disposition to believe that anything can be overcome with sufficient know-how, and his wide variety of skills and resources only bolster this belief in himself. Nothing is ever impossible, and Victor has very little time for anyone who disagrees.
Victor is eccentric. He spends so much time in other dimensions and associating with magical beings that elements of normal human life escape or perplex him. He has trouble managing his finances or noticing when his clothes are out of place. He loves just getting a chance to stop and eat a hotdog, or Astral Project into a Mets game.
He is a also very calm, determined individual when he wants something. He's not the type to explode into histrionics, or ever really let anyone get a good bead on how he's feeling -- stiff upper lip and all that. He can be stubborn, but only when he knows he's right, and frankly, he knows he's right 100 of the time. All the same, he's not the type to be goaded into a fight, what with cooler heads prevailing and all. Most attempts to bait him will fail.

BIOGRAPHY
Victor was born from the affair between Clea Strange and Doctor Strange. Despite this, Stephen Strange was unaware of the existence of his child, for Clea feared even more attention would be drawn to him and would bring more malevolent entities who wished to harm him, who despised the two Sorcerer Supremes. So giving birth to Victor in the Dark Dimension, unbeknownst to even the Lord of the Splinter Realms himself, Clea took the liberty of taking care of Victor, showing him with love and teaching him to control his magical gifts, knowing the energy of the Dark Dimension is extremely unpredictable in the hands of a novice. Quickly Victor grew up to excel in everything he was thought in spite of his young age, developing a thirst for knowledge.
It wasn't until Dr. Strange eventually found out about Clea's secret. Heartbroken, he demanded he should see his son too and after a hefty argument came to the conclusion that Stephen should be there for his son. Victor knew about his father at that time but didn't know why he couldn't see him, his mother would usually make up an excuse as to why and Victor would just roll with it. He was only 7 so he didn't question his mother.
So from then on, Victor would visit his father in the Earth Dimension often. Being with his father was different, and it proved why Stephen wouldn't be the best father. He was always busy in his duties of the Sorcerer Supreme, though his father tagged him along his adventures, there weren't much quality time spent with each other. So Victor found it hard connecting with his father, emotionally. Nevertheless, his father's former mentor, the Ancient One often took him in when his father was busy (which was alot) and taught him everything he taught his father and cared for the young boy.
He grew attached to the Ancient One and really enjoyed his company. So it was only natural Victor would spend more timee in Kamar-Tag, than in the Sanctum Sanctorum. He was even sent to other mentors around the world, unknown that they were preparing him to becomr the next Sorcerer Supreme of both the Earth Dimension and the Dark Dimension. But he wasn't ready, he may be exceptionally skilled with magic but there were lessons he needed to learn to truly be prepared for his destiny.
So the Ancient One, scoured through the dimensions of the Multiverse and contacted the Vishanti, in hopes of them coming together with Dr. Strange, Clea and the Ancient One himself, to create 12 labors he will have to carry to prepare him for the mantle. At this time Victor was 20 and when the Vishanti appeared to him for the challenges, it would be a very long time before anyone would see Victor again.

The most merciful in the world I think, is the inability of the mortal mind to correlate of its contents. We live on a placid island of ignorance in the midst of black seas of the infinity, and it was not meant that we should voyage far.

ABILITIES
As the son of the Sorcerer Supreme of the Earth Dimension, and the Sorceress Supreme of the Dark Dimension - a realm where magic appears especially turbulent and chaotic, Victor yields extremely potent and innate magical abilities. Due to his tribrid status of being part-Faltine and part-Dark Dimension Mortal, he can not only inherently "create" spells and manipulate magic, but he is also naturally able to perceive things others cannot. Having been tutored by both his parents and other mentors such as the Ancient One, Victor has enormous potential and talent in the Mystic Arts, and he has fulfilled that potential through his long years of study and training.
Egocentric Arts (from the Greek: ego, "self") This method for manipulating mystic energy, originally known as the Lapis Path, refers to magic derived from tapping into one's own spiritual and personal energies. These energies are those derived from the soul and body of the sorcerer. Personal energies can only be used to power abilities developed through mental studies and are thus limited to personal powers such as astral projection, chi arts, telekinesis, and telepathy. However, because it is known that the continual use of such energies will fatally deplete the individual by consuming their life force, sorcerers must learn to harness their internal forces responsibly through meditation techniques and trained willpower.
Ecocentric Arts (from the Greek: oikos, "household") This method for manipulating mystic energy, originally known as the Emerald Road, refers to the ambient mystic energies of an environment. After learning to control his/her personal energy through the study of Egocentric magic, a sorcerer may next learn how to connect his own life force to the ambient mystic energies of the surrounding environment. Once entwined, the energy may be manipulated to create a variety of effects. Once an environment's mystic potential has been tapped, a sorcerer may manipulate it to form and hurl energy blasts (usually referred to as "Bolts of Bedevilment") or erect basic shields. Illusions and disguises are also woven together out of ecocentric materials. One may even conjure up small "solid" items, though said items are not usually very stable and may disappear as quickly as they appeared. Classic elemental substances (Earth, Air, Fire and Water) are also available to the learned mage and may be manipulated into weapons, shields, or in some cases, minions.
Exocentric Arts(from the Greek: exo, "outside") This very advanced form of magic, originally known as Arcanum Exo, refers to the form of magic that draws upon forces from dimensions outside our own. Only very experienced sorcerers are able to communicate with powerful mystical beings that inhabit these "other dimensions" and appeal to them for assistance. To invoke the aid of godlike beings (also referred to as the mystic principalities) such as Cyttorak, Ikonn, Raggadorr or Watoomb, a sorcerer must learn complex incantations and master subtle gestures in order to increase the chances of receiving a positive response. The more powerful the entity (or the less powerful the sorcerer) the more complicated the ritual of invocation becomes. To attract the attention of an entity, a supplicant will generally use the entity's name in a rhythmic or rhymed incantation. Just as poets and musicians once tried to gain the favor of powerful monarchs by composing clever poems and songs about them, the sorcerer uses his words to gain an entity's favor and display his or her own wit and knowledge.
Faltinian/Mhuruuk (Dark Dimension) Physiology
Due to his mixed heritage as both a Faltinian and a Mhuruuk (Dark Dimension Mortal) on his mother's side of the family, Victor has within himself an alien physiology that allows him to naturally be compatible with esoteric environments and magical forces. As such, he possessed the natural attributes of the Mhuruuks race: resistance to poison, toxins, disease and infections as well as a higher natural physical capability. And as a Faltine, pertaining to superior anatomical mystical dynamism, as well as magical energy reserves which they use to bolster their power to greater heights.
WEAKNESSES
Incantations and Gestures Dependency: Victor also depends on spoken incantations, mystical gesturing, and his arcane artifacts in his duties; likely these can be counted as weaknesses. Victor has been incapacitated various times by being gagged and bound, preventing him from uttering arcane invocations or performing mystic gestures. Breaking his hands can greatly cripple his magic ability.
Mortal Factor: Another weakness is that Victor, despite all his spells and magical training, is only human physically to a degree. Hence, if not taking proper care or defenses, Victor can be overpowered by sufficiently strong blows, energy attacks, or gas. While technically alien per se, he still must take care of his body in order to survive.
He can't battle for lengthy periods of time because his magic is so intricate and enigmatic that utilizing it for too long can be harmful to his health, therefore he has to be careful not to overuse it. He may have migraines, dizziness, nausea, vomiting, and other undesirable side effects as a result of overusing his power, including even passing out.
The foods we consume and the liquids we drink provide energy to our bodies. Foods contain a lot of chemical energy that your body breaks down into smaller components and absorbs to utilize as fuel when you eat them. However, because his magic requires the same energy, he's denying his body the nutrition it needs to function correctly. This is where the above-mentioned negative effects of utilizing magic come into play; even worse, he has a larger risk of organ failure and hemorrhage.
Another limitation is the requirement of concentration. If his concentration is broken in the middle of a spell, it is likely to fail...under some circumstances with random effects happening instead of the intent. Mental fatigue is another issue he has to deal with, especially for longer spells or when casting many spells in quick succession. Although he is practiced at keeping his concentration, even he can be affected by his surroundings...it's harder to cast in a noisy environment with a lot of distractions than it is in his quiet work room. Very complicated spells, if possible, are best cast in a controlled environment. This is why sound-based abilities can be quite effective in affecting his spell casting.
PARAPHERNALIA
The Eye of Agamotto(Knowledge), a quasi-sentient artifact regarded as either the third Eye of Agamotto or the Eye of Agamotto, this amulet represents prescience, with its power manifesting knowledge. It is a valuable and powerful item with numerous uses, the most frequent of which relate to truth, light, and sight. Using the Eye, Victor can see through any lie, deception, or illusion, send the eye out at light speed to intercept and absorb massive amounts of any type of energy and free others who are trapped in their own illusions. It is often used to amplify his mind's eye, giving psychic abilities that rival the most powerful of psionics. It is also often used to play back an area's past events, lift beings weighing thousands of pounds into the air telekinetically, and open dimensional portals, as well as place beings in suspended animation. The Eye can track beings by their psychic or magical emissions. The light given off by the Eye also weakens a variety of evil mystical beings, such as demons, devils, undead beings, dark extra-dimensional entities, and even sufficiently corrupt human practitioners of dark magic. When used offensively, no being can withstand its light for long; due to its lethal effect, it is often used as a weapon of last resort. The amulet can only be used by a being with a pure heart and a clean soul. The Eye of Agamotto is the name commonly given to the amulet that contains the Eye of Agamotto, known as the Amulet of Agamotto, though the Eye itself actually resides within the amulet and is released from time to time.
The Cloak of Levitation- A magical relic that allows him to fly (at subsonic speeds but can be augmented using magic), levitate and hover in the air. It appears to be sentient and can move on its own power, causing it to move and flap in the air without the presence of wind. Offensively, the cloak's ability to move and fly with or without a wearer allows it to grab, lift, tackle or send enemies flying through the air. The cloak assists Victor in combat by protecting him from attacks, preventing his enemies from blindsiding him, as well as attacking enemies on their own whenever possible, and doing maneuvers that are difficult for most humans to do. It responds to his thoughts and has used it many times as a "third set of hands" to attack a foe when his own body has been incapacitated.

[backstory, tw: mentions of bullying, depression, self-harm, etc.] — born elliot taylor maximoff to wanda maximoff and michael taylor carson in the suburbs of ridgewood, new jersey, you can say elliot had a perfect life growing up. he attended the best schools, had the best grades in his classes, had everything he wanted, and overall was a spoiled and loved child. even with this perfect life, he had his own personal issues but he was also gifted. in middle school, elliot had finally figured out his true sexuality. he was gay and when he came out to his parents, they accepted him. in school, not everyone was as accepting. other kids would often pick on and bully him for being homosexual. he would be called homophobic slurs, named awful nicknames, jumped by other kids, and even had his personal property stolen or trashed. this wasn't good for his mental state and well-being as it made him depressed and uncertain about his own lifestyle. during his last year in middle school and first two years of high school, he went through various depression episodes that caused him to self-harm, barely eat, made him lose countless hours of sleep, and many other things which caused him very negative thoughts of discontinuing his life. wanda helped him a lot through this, inspiring and uplifting him to ignore and push away the negativity of people and harmful thoughts which helped in the long run.
though before all of this, as a child, elliot was showing signs of magical abilities like his mother. as a child, he was already showing signs of telekinesis even though it was unintentional. wanda helped him a lot to exercise, learn, and control his abilities. by the time he was a pre-teen, he was learning to cast spells and channel/use energy for various things. by his 16th birthday, he had pretty much learned to hone and control his powers.
