A New Breed of Pet

[Ricia]

"I wounder if maybe I could get a sitter... though there is not really money for a sitter I don't think.." Seaton said before going to look through all the contacts.

 

[InsaneTruth]

There was the number for the scientist a question line a vet line and a few other service lines for him to choose from.

 

[Ricia]

"Baby sitting service?" Seaton said, talking to himself as he continued to flip through the papers.

 

[InsaneTruth]

There was nothing that specifically said baby sitting.

 

[Ricia]

"Hmm..." Seaton said softly. He couldn't just ask ANYONE. Maybe he'll prepare a snack for her for him to give to her before he leave for work and when he gets back so she can eat then. Before dinner and such.

 

[InsaneTruth]

Hazel was a purring mess. Sea's phone began to ring not waking the kitten at all.

 

[Ricia]

Seaton picked up the phone smart phone. He didn't really look at who was calling before swiping to the side and answering it. He tucked the phone between his ear and shoulder before continuing to read, "Hello?"

 

[InsaneTruth]

"Mr. Kingston? This is Doctor Stirell," the voice said "I was calling to check in on your kitten,"

 

[Ricia]

"Oh uh. She is doing fine. I just feed her and now she is back in the box sleeping. She likes the box... so I tipped it over so she could go in and out of it as much as she likes... I'm still a bit confused, but I love her already." Sea said brightly.

 

[InsaneTruth]

"I'm glad to hear you are taking care of her, she is the first of her kind to last past the first stages. Is there anything you requre for her care we did not send?"

 

[Ricia]

"Ah.. well I am a college student... and I was a bit worried about lunch time. I mean... you feed a normal cat twice a day... but I can't tell if she is like a human and needs to be feed 3 times a day or not..." Seaton explained a bit.

 

[InsaneTruth]

"She is a cat, she looks human and can learn to talk and act human but she will always be a cat." The man told Sae "she will tell you she is hungry if you come home and she is making noise."

 

[Ricia]

"I guess then she'll be ok for Lunch..." Seaton said slowly, "So.. what did you guys want me to do with her?"

 

[InsaneTruth]

"She is a pet... was that not clear when you entered the contest?" he asked "if it was not we can take her off your hands,"

 

[Ricia]

"Well it's hard to really look at her like a pet when she is completely capable of human things." Seaton said softly, "But no, I want to keep her."

 

[InsaneTruth]

"She is a pet, its what she is made to be, she has all the benefits of having a cat lus the ability to understand and communicate," He told Sea.

 

[Ricia]

This guy was annoying as sin. "Thank you for your help sir. Anyway I have to go prepare for tomorrow." Seaton told him.

 

[InsaneTruth]

"My contanct number is in the book," he said before hanging up.

 

[Ricia]

"What a dick..." Seaton mumbled before turning his phone back to sleep mode.

Hazel was just sleeping away though she looked like a wreck her hair and clothing was mussed and her ears were hardly visable making her look like a pure human

 

[Ricia]

Seaton smiled a bit. He realized now he might actually get a bit more emotionally involved with her then just a pet... he'll have to see. Getting up, Seaton went to the couch to sit down and watch TV again, letting Hazel sleep. Lady however jumped up to lay on Sea's lap.

 

[InsaneTruth]

Ir was a long while before Hazel climbed out and looked at Sae "bathroom? Master Sae?" she didn't know where it was and she had to go.

 

[Ricia]

"Ah.. yeah." Sea got up before putting Lady down on the couch and walking into the apartment. "In here." He told her.

 

[InsaneTruth]

she followed him and went into the bathroom she would use the toilet like a human as she was 'house trained' she was really sleepy rubbing her eyes.

 

[Ricia]

Sea cracked the door lightly and walked back to the other room. He really hopped she'd be ok.
