Platinum made sense for the crops since she was selling her entire stock at once to a merchant and that sale was meant to be the one that got her family through the year. Most of that will go back into farm supplies, feed, animals, maintenance, etc. She doesn't expect to get a platinum for the gem, she just named the most exorbitant price she could think of so she could get some information about what it's actually worth from someone who seems to know what its value is. I can lower it a bit to 10 gold or something if necessary. I don't intend to use platinum for most every day sales, though.

I think my axe is, with Decius...Jokes aside, I am open to pretty much anything. It would be nice if Decius was in that kind of relationship. It would be fun writing that since he would be this really big bear like dude acting like a total dumbass. But really, with the type of person he is I dont see anything happening.
 
There's my final post for today! Cynth's just gonna be travelling around town, being a nerd. Trying to find out what a Kadapul is.

I'm not opposed to it, but I would want it to happen with a pretty slow, natural progression rather than to seem like it's really fast and forced and just there for the sake of being there.

She has a more pragmatic knowledge of plants than academic.

She wouldn't know most plants by name except for the ones that were particularly useful for surviving in the wild: the edible ones, ones that you would want to avoid (i.e. poison ivy) or the ones for making useful, every-day things like common herbal medicines or materials (rope, paper, trees good for wood or fruit). She has a pretty good memory and might know some super-rare, forgotten plants by sight if she saw a picture of something she happened across at some point in her travels, but I don't think it's likely she'd know them just by name, function, or reputation.

If you wanted to do something with this, it might be that Rae notices some rare flower useful for poisons or something that Cynthia has possession of that she just so happens to have seen a hidden grove of sometime in her past.
