Fantasy A Nation In Havoc OOC (2.0)

Did a day pass in Armandio's time? He said he'd show her the cave tomorrow, but then on the next post showed her anyway.
Could just all be on the same time now anyway, and have the initial day of your postings the current day, and the others were in the past.
No. Nia pseudo-threatened him so he decided to show her anyway. They are still in day 1. But for some reason Kruziik responded to a day 1 event from day 2 which fucks shit up even more.

He was, but she asked to see it now, and he's not one to turn down a pretty girl.

I have two characters! I can't just leave one hanging!

We should have never have had separate days.

I was going to say the time thing wasn't as confusing as it seemed, but I couldn't manage to wrap my head around it, so I guess it is actually pretty mangled at this point. Maybe this festival where we all synchronize ourselves up again can be like the Festival of Time or something. The main event can be Link playing the Oath to Order to stop the moon from destroying the world.

I would suggest perhaps using time stamps after the festival and maybe restrict to one post a day to ensure everyone is on the same time? (Morning/Afternoon/Evening/Night) etc?

I think that's going to be hard, we may be in totally different time zones

Maybe we could have people only go a maximum of a certain amount of hours in however many posts they wish until the cycle is complete. Likr nobody goes after afternoon until everyone posts their morning kinda thing.

I feel like the problem here is that, in the same span of RP time, some characters will be interacting with other characters while some will be off doing their own thing. The people whose characters are doing their own thing will tend to naturally cover more time in one post, putting them ahead of people who need to wait for a response from someone else to move ahead even a few minutes. On top of that, some people just naturally want to cover different spans of time in their writing than others depending on their mood, their character's situation, etc.

A solution might be to set a restriction about exactly what in-game time posts can go up to. Posters would be able to post as much as they need to with their individual posts covering as much of that chunk of time as they feel necessary for whatever their character is doing, but once they've hit that restricted time, they can't post anymore until everyone else has caught up.

This way, people who are caught in interactions with others can post as much as necessary to get through their conversation/fight/business transaction/whatever and they won't have to worry about everyone else getting days ahead of them. People who are doing their own thing can either cover a lot of time in one post, or cover smaller chunks of time in multiple posts until they hit the restriction, as they feel appropriate.

So, for example, with the festival, you might say, "everyone post from the morning of the day the festival starts to its conclusion at 6PM that evening; do not move onto that night until everyone's posts have covered up to 6PM."

If you combine this with timestamps in each post about exactly what time it is, I think it will be much easier to keep track of when events are taking place without getting confused and it will avoid the problem of some people getting too far ahead of others due to interactions and/or individual differences in writing style.

There ya go.

I'm so sorry please don't kill me.
