Well Magic is not really required to have a great RP. And plus, as the rp goes on, the characters will become more powerful. And in this world, that most definitely means being able to use some form of magic eventually.

Nah it was just a goof, the setup atm seems a lot more realistic considering how rare magic is supposed to be.

I have a few vague ideas about why Cynthia's powers dissappeared and what went wrong with the ritual, but I'm absolutely in no rush to have her get her magic back, simply coz:

A) A powerless villain is more interesting than a "Wahahaha see how stronk I am" villain, at least to me.
B) She'd need pretty substantial development before getting her powers to not simply abandon everyone (or worse) the moment her Magic is back.
C) I feel she'd be somewhat OP at any early point in this, her past sets her up as a late game powerhouse I think? If she did recover her abilities of course.
