Skylar sighed and handed Rex to jack before stooping down and petting Tony again. "Because if there was peace, we'd never grow. Life would be too easy, and there'd be nothing to work for, nothing to be a good person for. Hardships make us who we are."

"You probably just dislike me because I'm human! Don't group me together with anyone. Unlike them, I learned to befriend Myths..." Mai called, she shook her head as she sat on the kitchen floor, spraying and disinfecting the wound before wrapping it in thick cloth bandages. Drops of crimson blood trickled the kitchen floor, a quick but furled bite could do such chaos. "Man...and I just woke up..." she groaned, hunger and the loss of well-needed blood was not a good combination, she glanced at Hydro "Hey, where are you going??" Mai called in concern.

Skylar glared at Mai. "I'm going to see when we're taking off and if we can leave the scientist here." Skylar stood up and walked into the control room, looking for Damien. Jack put Rex down so he could follow her.

Hydro would stop and turn around and looks at her "I...I cant handel things like this...I..I need some time alone later"he says as he enters the ship again and sits near Mai and says too Skylar "I wot leave her here i promis Eli that i would protect her Nomater what...I dont care what you say but i wont leave her"he says in a defensive tone


as Rex would Follow Skylar and with his ears down...as he hopes Yuri comes back...he might know how too solve this

Skylar glared at Hydro slightly then turned away, not wanting ANOTHER fight in front of Rex. Skylar picked up Rex and walked to the sleeping starters and lay down on her bed, petting Rex.

Rex would Lay on her side and close too her geting confy and says "Whats wrong with everybody here....cant they get along"

Tony followed Skylar, nudging Rex gently, I'm sorry....both of you He mumbled softly, then slowly retreated, tail and ears low

Rex would look at Tony and say "You..You were not going too hurt mi?"he ask Shyli as he looks at him with his small eyes

Tony shook his head, keeping his back to them, No He stated softly, before leaving

Skylar sighed and pet Rex, watching Tony. Sorry if her bothered you. she thought to Tony. I'll keep him in line. And don't worry. Mai had that coming. She's lucky it was you and not me.

Rex would lay on Skylars Belly and curl up and his head staring at the door as he saw the Wolf leave and say too Skylar "What is his name?"

Mai grasped the handle of the metal door, dizzily swinging it open "I got up too fast...." she was parched, most of the reserves in her body were used up during her sleep. Hungry. Thirsty. But still very tired. She grasped a bottle of water and began chugging it down. "*gulp gulp* You're still a bit new here...But I'll inform you of an agreement I have with the leader of the protector of Myths here. " Her voice echoed down the halls of the ship as she crinkled the water bottle noisily to keep her attention. "To aid in my research, I have been allowed to observe and take samples from Myths if they let me...if I cause any trouble, I am to be killed. Hydro here is my guardian, to make sure no unnecessary conflicts don't arise." Mai explained, it was exciting to know more variations within the species of Myths and their populations, but even more so to know that other scientists have failed to replicate a Myth's genes. She smiled at Hydro "Thanks for defending me..." the violet hair girl muttered gratefully, without him she would have been wolf-food for sure.

"Tony." Skylar replied, scratching Rex gently behind the ears. And I'll protect him, no matter what. Even if it means protecting him from himself. She glared at what Mai said. You're not touching Tony, Jack, or Rex so good luck with that.

Hydro would smiel "dont worry,,,im here for you"But his smiel gones as he would be still siting on the floor as wen he saw Mai get atack...remindes him of what he has done too people...Ripping the apart and leaving scaterd limbs....as those were dark memorys,as he would get up and say too Mai "Im...Im going too be outside if you need anything...need somtime alone"he says as he would start too walk out of the ship


Rex would like being scrach as he would rolle over and fall on her confy arms and stay there and say "Tony...dosent seem bad.....Only scari"

Skylar sighed sadly. "He wasn't always. He's more scared of himself than people are of him. He doesn't want to become the monster they tried making him into."

"Making him too Into?.....what do you mean....the people her has bin doing this too him?"he ask kinda worrid as if the people here are doing this too him its very bad

Skylar nodded slightly. "But don't worry, I'm not gonna let anyone hurt you. Not you, or Tony, or Jack. No one is going to hurt us. Damien is taking us someplace safe where no one will ever find us. Now get some sleep."

Rex would nod as he would crawl off her and lay on one side of the pillow and curl up like a ball as his flower head closes and went too sleep..as he wonders wen will he be able too see Tony up close

Skylar smiled at Rex and turned onto her side, facing the door. She was scared Mai was gonna try to take Rex for samples while she was asleep. You're not touching anyone I care about, lab coat.

Tony padded back to Mai, and sat near her, his head bowed silently

Mai had filled a bowl with rice and bits of beef as she saw Tony come near her "Oh, hi Tony. Do you feel better now?" she asked as she searched for some spoon....fork...chopsticks.... or any utensil she could use to eat. She gave up on the search and began feeding herself by hand. "No need to apologize over and over. It's alright, see, I'm fine." Mai lifted her well wrapped left leg for the winged-canine to see. "I'm sorry if Hydro threw you earlier... He just reacted when he saw what was happening." The scientist placed her hand on the wolf's head and rubbed it tenderly.

Tony shook his head, Not your fault. If anything its mine, or even the people who did this to me

Skylar got up, careful not to wake Rex, and went to get some food. She hadn't eaten in three days. She saw Hydro and walked up to him. "If she touches anyone I care about, I don't care if you're her protector or what ever, I will kill her myself." Skylar glared at Hydro before walking to get some food.

Mai laughed as if Tony's telepathic phrase was ridiculous "No one can blame you for something you can't control. " she stated, stuffing her mouth with sauce covered meat and rice. "You're friend there sure seems to hate me...I can't seem to be on good terms with either side of the war...The humans dislike me...the Myths dislike me..." the scientist sighed quietly, placing the round-framed glasses on her head. She tossed a strip of meat at Tony's direction "Cheer up puppy. No need to be so sad."

Hydro would not look at her as he thinks of what she said...Thats wat he has sayd and what would doo for Mai and those he care about...as all he has cared for he killd them long ago and the only one he cares is Mai Now....lots have change in little time,he whanted too say somthing bt ket quiet as he dint whant too get Mai killd
