Skylar gulped. Jack stepped forward and put a hand on her shoulder. "Because she's responsible, caring, and Damien is taking care of her so if anything doesn't work out, you can come and get him." Jack explained for Skylar. Skylar shot him a grateful look.

Or! I could put you both in bottles and send you back home! He says, obviously, not feeling up to taking care of Rex again.
