Realistic or Modern A Mythical Creature Roleplay

Walks up behind the girl and speaks In a deep and calm voice. Whats going to be Interesting, eh? He says. This girl might try to experiment on those kids, we can't have that.. What would be the best way to handle this... I wonder? He thinks to himself after he asks his question.


(In the mountains, only way to get connection Is to walk 5 miles to get a few hours of connection... May take me a few days to respond, however If you respond quickly, then we can continue and maybe finish tonight.. For our part at least)


(Also, the connection here REALLY sucks, so I might not be back for more than a few days.. Cause It REALLY sucks.. So It may not even be worth comin down here..)

Mai turned around making a small, startled noise as she heard a voice of a man behind her "Oh God you scared me there...." she breathed, holding her hand on her chest to calm herself down "I-I just found something worthy to document..." The violet haired girl responded, quickly tucking away a vial that she had in her hand into the small bag strapped to her leg. "Who are you sir? " she questioned the stranger with utmost curiosity in her bright green eyes 'Another person...how odd...I wonder if his saliva is explosive as well...' she thought to herself.


(sorry just woke up. I'll respond as quickly as I can for you then, I know how you feel. I'm really patient so no worries and take as much time as you need if it's convenient for you!)

Hydro wuld get up from looking at the fireplace "Gona go and take a long rest on the sea"As hydro wuld walk out of the cave and prosid to go toward the oceon shores and transforme as he wuld go deep in too the sea so he can moist his body and not dry up...and along the way wuld eat some Fishes to calm his Hydra appetite

He looks at the young girl and questions the use of her "Experiments..." My name Is Damien, and I'm one of the Ancients, I'm questioning why you're on my land... He says as If to scare her away.. Maybe If I make her think that this Is my land, she'll pack up, then again, knowing how humans are... Maybe not.. It might just make her want to explore more... He thinks to himself as he stares down the young girl.

"Thanks!" she yelled out to him. She then fell a sleep on the couch feeling pretty warm.

Mai put her hands on her hips with an exasperated sigh, tilting her head side to side as if she had a thought rolling around her mind "I'm quite sorry Mr. Ancient Damien " she replied as if she had done this several times before. Mai examined the markings on his face "But I couldn't leave even if I tried. A helicopter dropped me off, I come from a very far off continent you see. If I strayed too far from the safety of this cabin that I was assigned to, I would most certainly die. And so would my friends. " she gestured to the strange and exotic creatures lined in cages outside the lab, none of which were made from any natural means. "Besides, this place has become to interesting for me to stop my research now..." the violet haired girl grinned.

The man looked at her with a dull look. If ye were goin to die, you would have died a long time ago when they first dropped ye off.. And If those.. Creatures, are your friends, then why are they up In those cages, eh, little girl? He says, the last bit drooling off with a dry accent... Interesting? Is she talking bout' those kids? If so, I can't let her off easy, If she has any Ill Intent against them, At least... He thinks to himself..

"I'm not as hopeless to die with all these supplies around me...And I'm no little girl! Old man...My name is Mai Hinawo..." She cocks her hip at the question, growing suspicious of the Ancient called Damien "To protect them from the nature they weren't intended to meet. They cannot survive outside those bars you know. Mother nature likes to hunt these man-made beasts. " Mai was ken on defending her research experiments, she has known some since her father showed her the beauty of science when she was a tyke. She wondered about what other strange people lied in this mountain range, ever since she met the water-boy Hydro she has seen more people than she ever expected to meet here. "I am but a curious scientist sir, I do not mean any harm. I am just taking notes and samples for my Myth research. "

Man-made? He thinks to himself before asking. So you're saying, those experiments, can't live without being protected? So had they not been experimented on, and had been turned into abomenations, (dunno how to spell that word...) they would have been able to survive? He asks, knowing what she said, and what he said as well. She's researching the Myth's? Why? What do these Humans NEED to know about them? He thinks.. What are Myths? Are they some type of animal? Are they ancient creatures? He asks, as If he has no Idea what they are...

Mai reaches into a drawer next to a large cage, and begins to feed the small baby beasts in the pen as she looks back at him "Since you're just some mountain-man I guess I don't have to worry about hiding much from you.....If you can understand, Myths are creatures that have two forms. A human. And a monster. They have strange powers sometimes, and are much like my friends here. They are born different, although these animal's genes were altered from birth...." she explained as she stroked the head of a feather reptile "We don't understand much yet, but many fear their power. Some want to eradicate them from existence. Others want to use them as weapons. But for I, I think they would make great pets..." the girl half-joked "I want to figure out how their powers work, and maybe one day...I can become one myself..."

Now Damien looks at her. You call them monsters, then you call them weapons, and now you're saying you want them as pets? If what you're saying is correct, then you can't become this, Myth creature, you'd have to be born as a Myth, and to turn Into one from experimentation, you'd only turn Into a monster, then those people would that you said want to kill those Myths, would want to kill you too. Right? He asks her with an impatient tone..

Mai flushed red, unable to respond to his adamant tone, realizing how ludicrous she might have sounded to this stranger "Yup. I suppose that sums up my train of thoughts right there, Ancient man." she stated, fixing her glasses with a calm, and unchanged face "I don't care if it sounds crazy...but love these Myths...they amaze me and I just seek to know more about them. The thought of their power gives me dream like shivers, how similar are they to humans? Do their internal structures shift as well? Are there different ways a myth can achieve their powers?" she questioned out loud, spacing out a little as she imagined all the types of Myths out there "Everyone has their own opinions, if they kill me when I achieve my dream. I suppose that's just my fate." Mai gave him an accepting smile, she was on no side of the war that was raging behind closed doors. Not the humans. Not the Myths. Just on her own side, all to herself. She loved Myths, but she was as human as human could be.

Hydro wuld jump out of the water near the Cave and wuld lay on the water floting there as he i still dosent what to go out of the water and he loves being in the water and alot as he wuld close the heads eyes and rest on the water floting there camly.

He looks away as he asks his next question... And what do you do to Myths as you find them? Do you open them up and experiment on them? Or do you lock them away In those cages of yours, as you do those other creatures? If you met a myth right now, what would you do to It? He asks with an angry tone. Would she hurt those kids If she got a hold of them?

Mai shook her head irritably "I would never dissect a healthy, rare creature such as a Myth. " she growled as if that was a complete insult to common sense "It would be a waste of life! You can learn much more from a creature alive. I would only dissect one if it dies from natural causes.... I may try and capture it if it were right in font of me though....take samples, test and challenge their abilities, breeding capabilities...much like my other creatures. " she rubbed her chin in heavy thought,imagining the situation "Hmmm...but it might be more exciting to watch it in it's natural environment...I would have some very reputable notes with that...." she smiles, entertained by his constant questioning "You seem to be getting worked up about such a silly thought, Damien. " Mai grins, her curious green eyes gleaming in the mountain light.

He walks up to Mai and grabs her throat with his claw and lifts her against the wall. What're ye gettin at girly? Don't mistake me for a docile human, I don't care If you're peaceful or a blood thirsty warmonger, If ye cross me, ye won't get off easy! He says to her before dropping her on the ground and stepping back, ready to leave.. Geez.. I'm gettin hungry, and I have a headache now.. Just great, I shoulda stay back there.. He thinks to himself before turning around, facing the trees, In the opposite direction of the Waterfall...

Mai's eyes widened, legs kicking frantically "V-Vicious..." she uttered, with an intrigued smile, feeling his razor sharp claw against her soft skin. She held her neck rubbing at it after he dropped her, Mai sat on her knees as she watched the strange fellow as he turned around. "You're....not, human?" she asked with a grin, as she slipped her hand over a mini tranquilizer gun on one of the outdoor tables. Pointing it at the direction of Damien's back "Are you....A Myth."

He looks back slightly at her gun... Shit.. I shouldn't 'ave attacked.. He thinks to himself.. I'm neither Myth, nor Human. I'm an Ancient.. He says rather loudly, angered by the fact that should pull out a weapon against him..

Mai smirked a bit, enjoying his reaction. "Oh. I suppose that makes you even more interesting subject for my research...I thought Ancient meant like some tribal chieftain...I apologize." She said, cocking the gun with a cheerful grin "...um..I would like to know more about this Ancient you call yourself. At lease before I show you my lab. "

He looks at her and at the gun, irritated now, not caring who or what knew about them.. The ancients, are from a land lost in time, a long time ago... A very, very long time ago.. Where Beasts' roamed the land. This war, of humans vs myths, ain't worth jack, If those Beasts' were here, It'd be an all out war against those things.. Anyways, Ancients were.. How to say this.. In terms, we were almost gods, created to fight against those Beasts'... But as I said, that was a long time ago.. He speaks as he walks farther and farther away, almost to the edge of the forest, farther away from the girl and her modern aged weapon.. Tch, what's it matter If another human knows what I am, only thing they'd do to me Is lock me up and use me as experimentation materials... He thinks to himself.. Edging closer and closer to the forest....

Hydro wuld wake up from his slumber and wonders how Mai is going with her experiments and desides giving here a visit as he wuld submerge under water and swim his way owards the shore near Mai,s Cabin...and like always eating fishes along the way 
As Hydro reaches Mai,s Location he wuld peek 1 of his head out of the water and see Mai aming a wepon towards some man,Hydro wuld feel guilt and Betrayl as she look nice but now he sees the real Mai as all his heads wuld shoot out of the water and give a loud roar and looking at Mai and the man

The girl shuddered as the roar echoed throughout her body, rattling vials and glass beakers violently. She pointed the gun at the head of the giant beast "Is THIS one of those beasts you were speaking of, oh-so powerful god???" Mai yelled, her eyes meeting the creature's eyes. She pointed the Tranquilizer back and forth between the two, overwhelmed with excitement and fear.

Looks at the hurt Myth.. Actually, that's Hydro, the boy you recently met.. And I'm not a god. I'm an Ancient.. Get it straight.. You should lower your weapon girly.. You've already hurt the kid enough.. He says with a pitiful look..

As all Hydros heads Look at Both his main head speacks "Mai......why you.....you said.....you.....i canot put words of this happening as i now suffer betrayll because of you....i thought you were nice.....but you are not only a Roghe that serches for his doing.....and you whant us for your experiments like the humans"Hydro says clearly dint understand why Mai Did this

Damien looks over to Hydro and speaks In a calm and reassuring voice. Oi, kiddo, calm down, no need to burn In pain and anger, calm down friend. Let her off, just go back, I'll punish her for ye, I won't kill her, for she's but a child. As ye know the pains life throws at ye, I'll find a decent way to punish her... Don't attack her, It'll only push her over the edge.. We can't have two kids goin at it... Calm down, It's alright... He says, trying to reassure Hydro...
