Realistic or Modern A Mythical Creature Roleplay

"He's your half father. His brother's seed also helped make you, two men, made one woman pregnant, and she had a child, it was you. The both of you died the night you were born." He says as he looks at the blackened night sky..

Skylar rolled her eyes. "I mean WHO is he. i understand but, I don't know if I've met my other father or not. Who is he? What's his name? And there's no need to shout at me." Skylar glared at him a little, a bit of hurt in her eyes.

He looks at her with an odd expression, not appearing to remember... "Must ye ask me this?"

Skylar sighed sadly. "Fine." She mumbled, before flying off and out of the house. She was mad at her fathers, whoever the other one was, mad at Tony for leaving, mad at Damien for yelling and avoiding the most important question, and most of all, mad at herself for not going with Jack when she had the chance.
(Gotta go, Night!)

Tony was still in the same place, wide awake, though his eyes were closed. He needed to know where Sky had gone, had she left him alone again? He whimpered softly at the thought, muttering things under his breath as memories of that day popped into his head

Damien lands on the Island near the pup, dropping the girl in the sand by a Palm tree, seemingly, something happened midair and she passed out. His wings grow dark as black void envelopes into his back, cleaning up again, wings hidden, clothes fixed, eyes calmer than they were before beggar left.

She really didn't like the idea of straying far from her tree. It was a reasonably small tree- because she was a reasonably small girl- and it had growing to do. It was still pretty fragile and Cassie did not want to leave it's side, in case somebody damaged it. But... She was curious, as to what was going on. Loads of people had showed up out of nowhere and they were a strange looking bunch. They were also a very emotional bunch, she observed. The idea of approaching them wasn't terribly appealing. But what choice did she have. She pressed a hand to her tree.

"I'll be back." Then, she crept in the general direction of the voices and shadowy figures.

Tony's eyes blinked open and he looked at damien, scampering over to the two. He switched forms, nuzzling Sky's cheek with a soft whine, Sky?

It's alright, she's currently asleep. No need to worry kiddo. However, It seems like we have company. A little girl seems to have heard us. He says, glancing Into the shrouded area of overgrown plants.

"I'm not little!" Cassie protested, instantly, "I'm average for my age." And she stood up properly, climbing out of the overgrown plants, "Who are you?" she frowned, "Why are you here?"

When one lives In a person's land, do they not Introduce themselves? You child, live In the land of Ancients, I, am an Ancient, this place you're living In, with that tree you protect so, belongs to me and my kind. My name Is Damien, and I am here because It's been a very long time since I've come home. Now, who, are ye, and what business do ye and yer tree have here? He asks kindly. (Note: The only way to the Land of the Ancients, Is by powerful magic, and ye can't just "leave" It, Ye'd fall out of the world, It's like, It's like It's In a void, of It's very own, to leave, Is either to die or use magic to teleport out. Just wanted to Inform ye.)

(M'kay. Understood.)

"I'm Cassie." she frowned at the difficult words, "I'm only here 'cos Rowan's here and I have no idea how she got here. We've always been here." She didn't know this land belonged to somebody else. She'd been here for as long as she could remember and she'd kind of assumed that nobody lived here. She didn't ever see anyone here.

"I didn't know this place belonged to you." she said, "I'm sorry. Don't be mad at me."

I'm not mad, I'm just rather curious. May I ask, Is this Rowan, that tree of yers? He asks gently

"Yes." Cassie said, "She's my tree. You're not going to hurt her, are you?" She'd never had problems with anyone trying to hurt Rowan before and she didn't want them to start now. Her lifeline was tied to that tree, if the tree died, Cassie would die and vice versa. And, if nothing else, Rowan was her friend. She didn't want her friend to get hurt.

I don't want to kill a tree, specially when It's life Is tied to that of a little girl's. He says with a strange look on his face.

"Oh, that's good." Cassie said; before adding, hopefully, "So, you're just going to leave us alone?" She stuck her thumb in her mouth and looked up at Damien.

He stares down at her and points to her thumb. Ye are Indeed a Little Girl~ And ye, we have no reason to bother ye. He says as he pets the pup.

"Thank you for not being mad at me." Cassie said, her words a little smothered by her thumb, "And I'm not little." She didn't like being called little, not one bit. It made her feel small and pointless.

Ye are still a child, so do not feel down about being little, ye still have time to grow, ye and yer tree will grow together. He says as he bends down and ruffles her hair.

(Well now misses, I'm off, I have work in a few hours, some rest and a well needed shower is in my future. G'night. )
