"A guard and a princess...in love with the wrong people..." Mai muttered, crashing into a branch and knocking down a nest (really several) by accident "She was a bit straight forward...But I suppose I'm just imagining things..."She laughed, soaring through the forest trees, diving and weaving between branches, then taking back off high in the sky. A dark shadow loomed over her from above, hearing the heavy beating wings of dragons draw near "Oh...They're so much bigger up clo-- " Mai was cut off, when the scaly creature opened it's jaws at the intruder and roared, clearly threatened that she intruded it's territory. It's jagged teeth opened around her body, almost swallowing her whole. With a swift dive she dodged, but she didn't escape unscathed...letting out a scream as it crunched down on her wing leaving a mangled mess of broken feathers while she spiraled into the dense forest like a fallen.

Hydro would get Up from the Bench and say "I dont know...Sounded like a roar...shoold we check it out?"he says as he looks around as he heard it perfectly but his Eyes dont let him see exacly were too go,as he would look at sky wating for a respond

Mai slammed into branches of the trees below her, crashing into the ground in a heap, next to a nest with large shattered eggs she had knocked over earlier. As the shadow above tried to search for her, peering through the thick trees. Mai tried to fly to safety, only to scatter blood and violet feathers from her injured wing. "Kya...." the girl cringed, trying not to look at the crushed and mangled limb, relieved it hadn't been bitten it off but it seemed to jut from several angles. "I...can't...call for help...or it'll hear me..." Mai whispered, crawling into a fallen log.

The hot breath of the snorting reptile came from around one side of the log, large teeth smashing one side and lifting it into the air with Mai in it. She clung onto one side, slowly sliding towards it's mouth as it shook the wooden tube, screaming as her icy breath filled the inside of the log with ice crystals. The struggle continued as the dragon dropped the ice covered log into a tree, roaring upset and peeved at the klutz who shattered her child in it's shell. Mai coughed up spurts of red as her body collided with branches and the log, pinning her between with her abdomen bleeding and impaled.

Ilaine slowly woke up. She gave a small yawn before stretching and grabbing her weapon. She should ask Damien if she could go hunt something.


Angelus wandered the castle's towers, looking for something to do.

Hydro would raise his head as he would hear the Roar once more as he would wonder why it was roring,as he would aproche as it was far Off but he would make it,as he wonders if Mai is back in the castle as he dose this,as he would Finaly reach the forrest and cant see well were he is as his vision dint allow it but he knew that dragon was some were

The dragon raised it's maw, scenting another trespasser on her land. Her head loomed over the trees like a titan over a wall, staring down at the tiny, violet haired boy and white haired girl with a low growl, scaled tail slamming into the trunks of the ancient trees and splintering wood everywhere as it stepped closer, long obsidian claws sweeping down on the two.

Hydro would see the claw as he would leap backwards and fall too the ground as he would get up and look at sky and say "I guess this Dragon is not Happy...Its Massive...I dont think i can take it down that easy"he says as this dragon was not happy too see them,and he would get up looking for a good place were too shift away from the dragon as it takes time,as he woul gesture Sky and point were he was going and wpuld start too run left too get a goo distance

Angelus watched from the tower.


"Loading Reverse Kinetic Harpoons.


Angelus used Persephone to aim at the dragon.


"Fire!"


The castle mechanisms followed and launched a harpoon through the warp gate and appeared above the dragon. It darted for it at high speed and impaled itself along it's spine. The gathered kinetic energy released itself on the form of a localized concussive explosion.

 

[Nekoni]

The dragon shrieked in an ear piercing roar, howling in pain as the harpoons stabbed through it's spine just behind it's wings. It spat black fire madly in all directions in an utter rage, lighting the tops of nearby trees on fire as blood seeped through between it's fangs. The dragon was enraged, going beserk with the parts of it's body it could still use;smashing trees and branches with it's wings and biting down on anything with it's reddened fangs.


Mai panted heavily in a tree, hands weakly gripping the branch through her abdomen. Her body was already growing cold from the loss of blood, pain striking through her until she had grown numbed to it. She let out another cry, beating her lasting wing against the log and the tree in attempt to rip free. "p-pLEASE....HELP..." she cried out, blood welling up between her fingers.

Hydro would see the dragon Going beserk as he was a good distace away and his eyes Glow purple and he would transform too his hydra now that the dragon was weak but it was Much biger that him but Hydro dint care,as he would quickli slider towards the dragon and lung fowards prosid too bite his Neck and try not too let it escape and his heads would start too breath purple Fire at it

"YOU WILL NOT HURT MOM!" He shouted. "PROTON REVERSAL BEAM!" The castle followed and fired a laser at the dragon. He flew towards Mai. "Mommy!"

Skylar flew up to the Dragon and calmed it down. She then healed it and told it they meant no harm. She spoke to it softly in Ancient Tongue until it calmed down.

 

[Nekoni]

The mother dragon let out a hiss as Hydro's sharp teethmerely scratched some of the obsidian scales on it's neck, purple fire surrounding it as the Hydra attacked. The creature opened it's huge jaw, locking it's bloody teeth around one of his seven heads. It's wings battered furiously, sending leaves and parts of trees swirling in the air, hitting the little boy in the process, unable to move the rest of it's body. The laser had shot through the air and disintegrated a large portion of it's failing wings, keeping it from soaring away.


Mai shuddered, growing tired, and sleepy from the struggle, watching her friends get caught up in the mess. It was just a short flight, and a clumsy move in the wrong area. "I should...just close my eyes...maybe it'll all go away..."


The dragon bared it's fangs at the girl, seeming too enraged to be calmed, even when it was healed. She let out a reptilian screech, glancing over at the smashed eggs in the distance behind her. The black dragon couldn't seem to be calmed, especially since all these intruders continued ruining her land and attacking her body.

Skylar looked at the eggs and sighed sadly. She closed her eyes and shadows covered the Dragon, tying it's wings and body down. She then took out her rod and it turned into a long sword. A single tear went down her cheek as she stabbed the sword into the center of the Dragon's head, right in between the eyes, killing it.
