Skylar turned her head weakly to see the group.

 

[Nekoni]

Mai jumped a bit, not expecting Damien to be able to see them in the low light. She fluttered her feather to make it's signature rustling sound "Ah...we...we're just checking to see if Skylar was alright...she hadn't come back in awhile so we...went to check.." The scientist explained, patting the little boy on the head. "What's this curse you were talking about anyways?" New information were a must to know...everything Damien had in his arsenal seemed to be brimming with amazing things. Much of it, never recorded in history or in the name of science.

"Dracolich." He said as the dragon flew and landed on his head.

"Mai, leave it be. Please, trust me. Don't go after this curse." Skylar said weakly.

Damien reached out and pet the whelps head, and responded to the children. (Btw, a whelp Is a baby dragon. Just to clarify If nobody knew.)


The Ancients Curse, has been around since the beginning, It's something that protected the Ancients from all sorts of creatures, long ago there was an attack from a strange tribe, people who we knew nothing about, their power was uncanny, far beyond what we had ever expected It to be, I had called my people Into the castle, for safety, this tribe, brought everyone, onto our land, and were killing anyone who dared to venture out, but one night, that tribe disappeared, they apparently went Into hiding, for better sneak attacks, but they were found by The Curse, that same night, the entire Tribe, was eradicated.. We found their bodies, loitered around the Island, almost all of them were whole, but quite a few were shredded apart, with wounds that none of us could have Inflicted, It could have been a strange Beast we had yet to confront, or something else. The Ancients called It The Curse, It's an Ancient Mist that appears to strangers to the land, unless blessed by the ruler, The Curse will kill all who trespass, Just.. Stay close to me for now, don't wander off...

Skylar shuddered at the story, she'd just seen it play before her eyes when she was in her trance, every last thing, to the goriest detail.

The violet haired girl rose to the challenge, holding her head up high "Curses? I I don't believe in such superstitions..." She smiled proudly, despite the large amount of superstitious habits she had picked up from her life. The story seemed to not faze the girl, it seemed to extreme to be true at ever detail. Mai hadn't seen anything of the sort that seemed like a danger in this land, not the empty house, not the errie mood, and the dreaded cursed didn't scare her either. Her eye glanced over at Anglus as he muttered the word "Is that it's name?" She asked carefully, glancing at Persephone. No one seemed to know the mystery behind his transformation yet, not even the castle's black rapier.

"Yes...that's weird...I-I feel like he should be bigger and have a castle on his back...." He said as he pet him.

After reaching the top of the tunnel the whelp blew out, he filled It up with earth.. He then touched Skylar's forehead, using a strange magic, taking a glow and touching Mai's forehead, showing her the horror that Skylar had just witnessed. He then set Skylar down at a bed of flowers before sitting back down and looking at one of the maps, chewing on an old bone...

Mai gave the little boy a questionable look "A whole castle?? Hmm...maybe when you reverted to a child, so did your powers...or your pets..@ she muttered in thought, patting it's skilled head.

Skylar closed her eyes, a few tears rolling down her cheeks. "Does it ever get easier to bare?" She asked quietly.

 

[Nekoni]

After Damien touched her forehead with a glow, Mai's eyes widened as her entire body shook from fear. For a moment in time she stood in the mist of memory. A vision of violence and terror, a whole enemy tribe fallen and a scatter of limbs and splinted bones, red was etched into the ground like runes in the black mist. Families decayed, heads bursted against Obsidian walls. She shook her head to snap herself from the dream, clutching her eyes tight to prevent from seeing anymore. "It's...It's the past...It's the past...it's a guardian of this land..." Mai muttered reassuringly to herself, eyes red and voice wavering from holding back tears. "I can't ...I cant be scared...Damien's here to protect us...Nothing here can touch us...."

Skylar closed her eyes tighter, a few more tears rolling down her cheeks. Suddenly, a huge roar that seemed to shake the very ground erupted from the forest nearby. Skylar sat up quickly. "Let me guess, that's the mysterious monster that killed the tribe?" She asked, her voice shaking in fear.

 

[Nekoni]

Mai lowered her head a bit in a sort shame "I apologize...I didn't know that it...I'm sorry for not believing you... Damien..." She muttered, looking off to the side sheepishly, listening to the explosive roar.

Skylar's eyes went wide suddenly and she began gasping, like something invisible was choking her, her eyes rolled back in her head.

Damien slashed at the marker and erased the vanished soul who was trying so hard to kill her. Before using blood magical to summon blood runes, marking each child (and whelp) with the rune, any case of spirits ceased to exist near these children.

Tony moved to Skylar in a rather panicked state, licking he cheek. He was oddly back in his wolf form

(Damien revealed a Curse that protected the island from intruders, Skylar was almost taken away by that curse and was shown a vision of it's power. Mai doesn't believe in ghosts or superstitious phenomena so Damien showed her the vision. Now Damien is placing protective runes on everyone)

(Yeah, an underground music hall. There's a tunnel that Angelus's skeleton dragon created that leads to their loction)

Hydro would look around and wonder were is everybody?....Magick?...as he would unlean from the wall and start too walk around the village serching for them as he has no clue were are they as he forgot if he saw them,as his nose bleed hase still not stop driping blood and geting worse and now Hydro start too have symptoms of Blood lose like dizzy and weake but they were dim so not much,as its clear it might get worse
