Mai scrunched up her lips, giving her a teasing grin "Would you rather me experiment on you?" she asked, thumbing the plunger of the syringe as Hydro and Skylar spoke "It's like...Keeping a fish from water, you know?" her eyes went over to Rex as he appeared behind Skylar "Oh! Rex! Perfect timing! Do you mind sitting over here for a moment~~ I promise it won't hurt...." she smiled innocently, pointing at the ground next to herself.

"NO!" Skylar stood in front of Rex. She sighed and held out her arm. "Leave him alone. Just do it." Skylar closed her eyes and rolled her sleeve to reveal her arm so Mai could take the blood.

Mai laughed as Skylar stepped in the way, the scientist held her hands in front of herself in innocence "Hehe...Just kidding~" she joked, truthfully only interested in studying Rex's new form to check for his health in the ship. It wasn't her responsibility to regulate their health, but no one was sure how long exposures in space could affect a plant. "I got you there, didn't I?" the violet haired girl grinned, tapping the glass of the item.

She rocked on the balls of her feet, twirling towards the direction of the fridge to grab some sushi and raw fish. "You sure? It seemed quite funny!" Mai chuckled, sinking her pointed teeth into the skin of the aquatic creature.

"But we're in the same s--hip" she replied, speech muffled by a chunk of soft flesh. Mai gulped it down happily, it tasted better than ever before. She began testing what kinds of food her new body could handle, wondering what receptors her cells had to digest certain materials. "An encounter with him would inevitable." Mai stated, ripping away the skin with a fang.

Mai held out some sushi as a peace-offering to the growling Myth. "I'm not sure what you're so threatened about all of a sudden...I was just playing around." she smiled slyly, pushing up her glasses with an index finger, enjoying the reaction as if she were observing the behavior of an animal .

Rex would see sky run off as he would run behinde her as he wasent scared but wen he saw Sky run off scared him as he dint know why and she reacted oddly but he was scared off needles

Mai stared at the fishy mess scattered across the kitchen floor in utter disappointment. She wiped her fingers off then got on her hands and knees, cleaning up the food on the tile. "I didn't even do anything..." she sighed to Hydro, making a bowl for Rex with the discarded delicacy, she couldn't let it go to waste after all. "A single bad joke ruins our newly-found sisterly bond? ....With that result....hmmm...I have a better view of how she holds relationships..." Mai didn't enjoy anyone disliking her, but it was something that happened quite often.

Hydro rub his forhead as he was worrid of the two as his Love and his Best Friend might become enemys and make it worse as he dint whant Mai too get Hurt because of her and Neather Mai Hurt her as he dint know what too do in this situation,as he would say too Mai "I really dont know...But you whanted too do somthing with rex and you kept trying too get a yes.....But i dont know well of the situation...sorry"he sayd kinda sadly

"I was insisting with a joke. But I guess it was a mean joke...especially to a girl who hates scientists. " Mai tilted her head side to side, giving a slight laugh "No worries Hydro, don't sound so glum! Time heals all wounds.Even ones caused by words." she tried to push off the situation and distract herself with her starving stomach. Biting down on the next fish in the fridge, trying to ignore any drama. Other people, especially sensitive ones, were not in experience list. "What do you think I should do? You seem more acquainted with her than I am."
