Realistic or Modern A Mythical Creature Roleplay

"Because they have treated me with respect and kindness, and I told them I'd protect them for what they did for me... It's more of an unspoken promise... More importantly, THESE myths did nothing to you, if you want revenge, go get it from the ones who took everything from you. Not these children.." He said.

 

[Fumbles]

"Ha, you think being a child gives you a free pass on everything in life? I watched my adopted human parents get annihilated right in front of me. Being a child means nothing to the world however of myth does."

 

[Nekoni]

(Very short length cave, lit up) 
Mai opens up the metal door with CLANK to a fully equipped lab, many meters below the surface of her cabin. She looked back at Hydro, concerned about what he may think about all the distorted creatures in container and tubes he may see. "Please do not tell any other Myths about this place. It's not a place that many can bear to witness." she muttered, passing by almost like a factory line of body parts dissected from various creatures. It was dimly litted with fluorescent lights, and smelled much like a hospital full of medicine and anesthetics. "At least here, you should be safe."

"Humans kill myths, and Myths kill humans, that's the way THIS world works. Those myths killed your parents, and ye seeked revenge on them. Did you kill them? Or are ye just out to kill your entire race, ye'd probably die before that happens, if ye hate them so, kill yeself, tis true that being a child means nothing, but it doesn't mean that I'll allow the meaningless slaughter of children, when they've become adults, then maybe I'll let you kill them, but not now.." He says..

Hydro wuld slowli walk around and see the place as all this he dint think of out of Mai she looks so nice....But this is a nother level "What....what is this place and what is that thing in the tube"Hydro says as he takes a closer look of the "Thing" In the container

Beasts of all forms, some half-made with bones and organs sticking up in all directions were floating in large tubes of fluids, being supported by machines to keep them alive. Wires and needles were covering these creature's bodies, vitals and lifelines being recorded every second of each day on devices hooked up next to their containers. "They are....failed experiments...." Mai said in an unemotional, but disappointed tone as she filled out charts on the machines. "They are created from the Myth DNA the humans give me. So I guess you can say they are far relatives of yours. They don't have a stable form so I keep them in this sleep-like state for further observation." the scientist gave a half-chuckle as she said her words, these abominations were hardly worthy to call alive.

"so...those thing....the cute litel things up there....are made of......Myth....DNA?but....but how......You are tryeng too make....Myth clones....too aid the humans"Hydro says a his eyes wide open as he looks the the creture in the tube and with no expresion only looking at it with lots of question sfloting in his head

"My entire race? Please. Maybe you should know this. I wasn't born a myth. I was born human. And I plan to take down as many myths as possible before I die."

 

[Nekoni]

Mai tilted her head side to side as she concentrated on some unstable numbers. "All the little creatures up there are merely successful experiments, not Myth, just a healthy combination of animals to create a breed that may help people in the future as companions, or beasts of war. " she rambled, fixing her glasses as she moved on to another chart "The ones down here have some Myth in them, very diluted blood. Not worth the human's time...But you can say I am trying to replicate Myth DNA...for my own purposes of course. Myth blood is very hard to replicate, since there is nothing similar to it that I know of. " the scientist was soon sucked into analyzing her work as the Hydra looked around.

"To be honest, boy, I really don't care what you are, you act like a myth and yet you're a human, humans killed humans, and Myths did the same, that is how this world is, however, what I'm saying, is that you should kill those who killed your parents, not everyone else." He says as he leans against the wall.

"so you are doing this for your own porpus not for the humans.....but what are you planing on doing with them"Hydro says relief she wasent doing them for the humans it wuld change the tied of the war in a mater of seconds

 

[Nekoni]

"I eventually have to kill them of course. " Mai answered blatantly,finding it as the most obvious of answers in her mind "But each one I create gives me a better sense on what Myths truly are. If they can survive at least an hour without a machine, I can sell them to pathologists and other biologists for their uses, or extract their DNA, or body parts to produce a better, more stable creature. " she patted one of the glass tanks with her arm that was wrapped in thick, reddened gauze "They can be very dangerous when awake though...so that's why this emergency exit comes in handy..."

"i cant belive this.....this is...i cant put words too it im not discust bi it or angry like you are not using them for war but...this is incretible...I dint know you were this smart..i cant say im happy but still this is bluming for mi as i dint know this was posible"Hydro says looking at 1 of the and very intrige as how there creatid not that he is happy for Mai using Myths for this but its still Incretible

She sighed "hmmm....yes, it's really simple actually...It all starts with---" The scientist began lecturing the Myth of the long, and complicated processes of DNA manipulation with various amino acids and embryonic cells in vivid and full detail. Making sure not to leave a single part out "First you have to test compatibility..............breeding is the fun part....hair samples work too.........some start from scratch.......you can use other body parts.....to do this....and that....blah.....blablah....blah...blah...adaption.....blah...blbalbalb...evolutionary traits....6rewdubdehdjlwe23..." Mai blathered endlessly.

Hydro wuld sudently feel sleepy but opens his eye again and says "hey hey hey wait ok....You are a Scientist you know everything i dont ok and for you is easy but for mi is like finding a Needle in a hay stake ok so pleas its ok i dont need to know ok....now....im kinda curius....you whanted mi Samples and all too.....make 1 of this thing....from mi?"Hydro says curiusly of thats the clearist reson she took his blood and everything

Mai nodded, not in one bit feeling guilty since it was a very certain agreement. "Yes, your creation though gave me some nasty wounds for a little thing. It's good and gone now, but was a very valuable piece of material when it was alive. " she said "Did I not mention to you, that becoming a Myth is an odd dream of mine? Well...if a creature such as these can withstand being infused with Myth DNA than there's a high possibility that I may be able to as well. "

"You....You....whant too become a.......Myth?......God........i never expectid this from you......how are you going too achive that.......if im correct no 1 has ever done that"Hydro says looking very suprised as he dint expectid that at all if so that is posible....How?

Mai shrugged "Well, that is what I'm researching right now." she sighed " I'm theorizing by inserting the desired DNA into a self replicating disease of some sort that over takes a human's natural cell replication process...such as cancer...or HIV....but those are very dangerous diseases, so I haven't done anything to myself just yet. That's what those creatures are for...but as you can see it hasn't ended well" the scientist said, deep in thought.

Hydro wuld look at her and look at the creture "So your plan is too....inject yourself with a Dises or virus that replicates really fast and inject the Myth DNA so it replicates with it.......sound rather dangerus"Hydro says as he looks around the place seeng tools and Charts of all kindes

(Very very old man!! But he still remains attractive as he ages :\ I wish humans work that way in real life, I am quite jealous of Mr. Damien to say the least)


Mai nods "It IS a very dangerous process, and if one misstep happens when I take my final breath as a human, I will most certainly die in a slow, and horrid death." she huffs with a lack of emotion, again, very unafraid at the thought of dying under the hand of doing something she loved. "But remember not to mention this to any other Myth...who knows what they will do if they figure out about the experiments down here. " she warned in a motherly, nagging tone to make sure it would stick in Hydro's head.
