Realistic or Modern A Mythical Creature Roleplay

Mai yawned, full and growing sleepy from her latest meal "Oh...um yes, technically. I don't do much for them though. " she said in a casual manner, a little surprised that she didn't tell him earlier "I'm doing the same thing as I did before, but I'm just getting paid for it....don't let that scare you." the scientist warned, trying to calm the worried Hydra down. " They just drop me off, I do my research. Then they send me off to another place and repeat. I'm suppose to be looking for Myths for them and creating lil beasties for war ....but if I tell them I'm in a Myth hideout....They will most definitely mess up my research material." she explained nonchalantly, and with the budget she receives from the war she can continue experimenting freely as she pleases. The rogue scientist had no intention of giving up such valuable subjects just yet to the paranoid human side of the war.

"so...basacli you are working bi you own way....you are working for your own couse not for others...but you still help them?"Hydro says confused as he feels he had made a bad desision to bring Mai here and feels too fix it but he wont because its Eli that is going too handel it she is like oure leader

She leaned back in her seat and put her glasses in her pastel violet hair, closing her eyes "It's a little selfish I know. But it's how I get by in this world. Think about it this way...once I get enough information, I can try to ease the fears of those humans you're so scared of and try to stop all this madness. " she sighed, trying to explain her situation the best as she could without freaking out the poor Myth. "People are just afraid of the unknown....except for me that is."Mai smiled, trying to keep herself awake in the chair. "What? You can't be scared of little ole me, right Hydro?" she teased.

 

[AzelFang]

"I beg to differ, all humans are just as scary as myths can be. At least with myths you have an idea of what they're gonna do. Humans on the other hand, tch... Never mind.." He says as he walks past the two to get a bowl outta the cabinet...

(When Damien talks about his past, he usually uses eons instead of years...) Damien walks over to his rock pot of seasoup and pours himself a bowl of it.. "If you want some seafood there's plenty of this soup left" He says as he sits back down on the couch...

Hydro hears her as he is not afraid but he is afraid of she telling hunters about this place.."Im not afraid of you...im afraid of those ho can do harm and exterminate us.....and you know that informetion verywell and if they know about all this were all good as dead....Promis mi 1 this wuld you:If sombody ask you about were wer hiding or anything dont tell them Nomater what..hunters are out there and they whant us..."Hydro says Nervesli as if somthing happens her its clearly his fault and he dosent whant too put all the myths here in dangers all because of 1 human

Dustin had eventually arrived in the area where it was rumored to be flooded with myths. "God, this place reeks with myths." He continued traveling through the area using his thumb and pointer finger to close his nose. "I better hurry up and take care of these myths before they can cause any harm." He eventually took his fingers off his nose so that he could smell for myths. "I'm getting closer" he looked to his left to see a building that was draped with moss on the outside, hidden behind a waterfall. "So there trying to hide there little base." Dustin was edging to just going and attacking head on if it weren't for two reasons. One was if the myths had human hostages and they would kill the hostages if he attacked. Number two is if that humans were actually living with myths for some stupid reason. He had made a vow to never harm a human ever. And that killing myths was his only reason to live. So he took the civil way of doing things. He walked up to the building and began to knock. Lets hope there isn't any humans so I don't have to hold back.

Hydro hears the Knocs and says too Mai"Wait here must be a nother Myth that Eli found"As Hydro wuld get up and prosid too the main door and open the large 2 doors and say too the man "Hello there...Come on in its better no humans see you...we will talk inside"Hydro says holding both doors open and waits for him too enter

 

[Fumbles]

Dustin tried to smile and act normal but he couldn't even if he tried. He ignored the myths words and proceded inside ignoring everyone around him. He started thinking to himself Alright if I can find any humans I'll sneak them out of here. I should also get as much information on these myths as I can. I need to know there plans and what they plan to do.

 

[Nekoni]

Mai opens her eyes "Oh, that sounds delicious! I....I mean, thank you. I'll gladly have some." she replied, taking out a bowl and pouring some seasoup herself. The scientist wanders toward Damien with a bowl in hand and a pen in the other and a large, excited grin on her face. "Let's see...tell me more about yourself, Ancient..." she pleaded. Glancing over to the footsteps coming from the doorway.

"Um ok.....make your self at home...if you need anything come and see mi ok"Hydro says too the man as he wuld walk towards Mai "Ok so we got a new myth really dont know what he is but pleas dont do like you did too me ok Mai"Hydro says looking at mai with a serius face and waits for a respons

 

[Nekoni]

She looks at Hydro, her bright green eyes gleaming with excitement. "Another Myth??!? No matter what kind of Myth he is...I WILL MAKE SURE TO DOCUMENT HIM!" Mai smiled, even if the new Myth was a plain sea-slug she would still be researching the living hell out of him. She drank the soup as she wrote down a new entry in her research journal '30/07/, Within Myth base. New and exciting Myths.'

"Mai.....what did i tell you and you promis aswell.....be controld ok"Hydro says serius maner as he looks at her and worrid she might scare the Myth away or Kill it and if he needed too control Mai he will as is his problem too Hydro Braught her here he must Control her

Stands up and walks over to the door, pulling hydro back and stepping outside closing the door on the way out.. "they're asleep in there bub, better wait till they wake up eh." He says to the stranger..

 

[Nekoni]

Mai put a hand on her cheek and sighed, "Yes yes Hydro...thank you for reminding me, I almost lost myself there..." she pouted guiltily, taking final mouthfuls of the soup before washing it off in the sink. She fixed her thin, round framed glasses and sat on the kitchen table, flipping through the tea-stained pages of her journal. Analyzing what material she had. The scientist did quick sketches of Hydro and Damien in their human forms, making sure to mark height and approximation of weight, hair, and eye color.

Hydro sigh as he notice she whanted too know about the new myth "Im going too regreat doing this"Hydro says in his minde and walks up too Mai and says "what if i told him you whanted too ask questions and too take samples of him wuld that make you happi and i wuld help if you whant"Hydro says nervesly wating for her too respond

 

[Nekoni]

She nodded, "Don't ask questions you already know the answer to, Hydro." The scientist beamed, sketching in noisy strokes with the phoenix quill. Mai's quills are instruments she relies on daily for her research, instead of writing with any liquid or paper staining material that runs out, it lightly scorches the surface the fragile paper; preventing people, or even time to fade her findings. Mai smiled at the Myth as if he were some type of angelic being that plummeted from the heavens to be her ally in research. This was a dream that no other could even dare to imagine.

 

[Fumbles]

What meaninglessness conversations they have. The only thing thats gonna kill me is thier stupidity. Might as well try to get information now. "So what are you guys doing here?" He said in a low tone.

Hydro sees the man and tells him "hey i know you came here only a few seconds ago but can you come here for a moment sombody is going too ask you questions and take samples......and we can get too know each other better "Hydro says with a smile too the man

Dustin rolled his eyes. The only thing that is going to get friendly is my foot and your but. He still decided to go to where the man was. He wouldn't look him or any of his friends in the face and always had his head turned away from them. "So who is asking the qeustions?"

Mai sat on the kitchen table flipping to a new page with the warm, colorful quill in hand. The violet haired scientist was spacing out as she recalled the events of her day on the seemingly uninhabited land. She saluted the newcomer with utter excitement "Oi, right here my good sir!" she grinned at the man.

Hydro smiled as well as says "Think of mi as her assistent for today...really dont know what too do as she is the scientist but....mee ist better too help"Hydro says siting near her and wating for her toos tart as he dosent know what too do

Dustin sighed still not looking at anyone. The only thing I think of you as is a piece of genetic crap "Alright so what do you want to know?" He said in a aggravated voice.
