A Magical Romance

[Narumi]

Kayagami smiles and nodded quietly though with some doubt. "I hope so" She whispers as she turns back to the window, staring out of it dreamily and then turns away, smiling at him warmly as she goes to sit down once again.

"How about this then? I'm going to the beach with some friends from school tomorrow. Why don't you come along and have some fun?" Takeshi suggested. "If you want to find love, you got to get out there and talk with others first you know. And along the way, I guess we can help others with your magic. Besides, there's nothing wrong with making some friends. If you want, we can even have try out school later." He was actually a bit excited over how to help Kayagami start socializing.

Kayagami bit her lip though nodded. She didn't really socialise well with others as she didn't know how to though she would at least give it a try. She had never been to school either, her parents often homeschooled her until she was old enough to stop living with them, though she was quite well educated. "I'll try...." She says softly.

Takeshi seemed to sense her nervousness and gave her a reassuring smile. "Don't worry, I'll be with you the entire time, helping you out. I've got your back. At the very least know that you already have one friend, me." He wanted to let her know that she wasn't alone.

 

[Narumi]

Kayagami nodded and smiles back at him. "Thanks" She tells him softly with a light blush, she had to admit, she was quite nervous about meeting new people and trying out school though she was excited about this because she would be trying out something new. She smiles a little more confidently now.

Timeskip the next day...


"The weather's really good today." Takeshi said looking up into the blue summer sky. He and Kayagami had already arrived at the beach and were waiting for Takeshi's friends. "You nervous?" He asked Kayagami who was right next to him. "By the way, don't you have any swim suits or anything? We are at the beach after all." Takeshi himself was wearing swim trunks and Kayagami was wearing the same thing she was wearing yesterday.

Kayagami nodded as she sat down in the sand, she was nervous on meeting his friends and socialising. She stared up at ohm, shielding her eyes from the sunlight. "Y-Yes, I'm nervous" She tells him softly. She shook her head as she glanced down at her outfit, it was a pink crop top with sparkles, and she was wearing a similar skirt and some ballet pump like shoes, with a scarf wrapped around her shoulders, "No, not really" She tells him.

"That really doesn't fit the beach setting." Takeshi said as he looked at Kayagami's outfit. "I got it, I wish you had a swimsuit you could change into." He decided to use the whole wish system to help her out since she couldn't do it herself.

 

[Narumi]

Kayagami shrugged sadly though her frown soon turned into a grateful smile as a sparkly and pink bikini was in her hands, she clutched the bikini to her, closely. "I love it!" She says and stood up, hugging him gently, planting a friendly kiss on his cheek.

Takeshi immediately became flustered when she kissed him on the cheek. He didn't have much experience with girls and this was a first for him. "Just go and change. There's a changing room over there." He said this in a flustered tone. "I''ll wait right here."

 

[Narumi]

Kayagami nodded and then began to go to the changing room, she got changed and came out, she looked beautiful in the swim suit and quite attractive, she was still holding onto her bottle and had her scarf draped around her shoulders, though had folded her clothes in a neat pile. She began to run towards Takeshi, smiling, her wavy and brown hair was flowing freely behind her.

Takeshi could only blush when he saw Kayagami in a swimsuit. He then shook his head a little to snap him out of it and to at least diminish the blush on his face before Kayagami got over to where he was. "You look good in that." He said as a compliment in a slightly embarrassed tone when she arrived where he was.

 

[Narumi]

Kayagami felt herself blushing as she giggles softly and looked at him. "Thanks, you look good in that swimsuit, yourself" She compliments, still blushing until she shields her eyes from the sun again and sees a group of people walking towards them wearing swimsuits. "I'm guessing that, those are you're friends?" She asks, nervously.

"Unfortunately." Takeshi said with a bit of sweat drop as they came over to the two. "Just to warn you, they can be abnormal at times." He whispered before they reached them.


"Hey Samurai, who's this girl?" One of Takeshi's friends said seeming to call him by a nickname. This male was 6 foot 3 inches tall and had an appearance that was like the combination of a delinquent and an athlete, slightly leaning more towards the athlete side.


"Well Roboman, she's a friend of mine and I invited her for today." Takeshi said in response, similarly using a nickname.


"Well, the more, the merrier!" A girl from behind said cheerfully. The two other friends next to her agreed.


"It seems that introductions are in order." Takeshi said. "Everyone, this is Kayagami. Kayagami, everyone." He said, using a simple introduction to start.

 

[Narumi]

Kayagami stood up and blushed lightly, says hello to them as she glanced around at them all. Some of the girls, however just glared at her and whispered to each other, quite loudly. "She looks so strange" She whispered to her friend and giggles nastily to her, "A bit slutty too" She adds and the two burst out laughing, high giving and such.

Takeshi was able to hear this and turned towards their direction and gave them a stern look. He then looked at the girl a couple feet away who was cheerful about letting Kayagami join earlier. "Hey Hatoko, why'd you invite them? We hardly even know them."


"hmm? But I thought you told me to invite our classmates." Hatoko replied looking a bit confused and having a air headed expression.


"I did say that but I also mentioned people we know." Takeshi said in response.


"Eh, what's wrong with us being here?" The two girls said threateningly.


"If you're only here to flirt with some guys or throw insults at people so you can feel better about yourselves just leave." The one known as Roboman said in response giving off an intimidating aura which caused the two to flinch away. Gritting their teeth, they silently left the group and went off to do their own thing.


"Sorry about that Kayagami, I didn't know that was going to happen." Takeshi said apologetically.


"No, it's my fault for inviting them here." Hatoko said with her head down slightly. "Are you okay Kaya-chan?"

 

[Narumi]

Kayagami had to bite back her tongue a little bit as the girls muttered insults about her to each other, she could have said a lot of things but decided to not retaliate and just ignore them, wasn't as if she would always come across them. She was glad that they left to do their own thing, she decided they would be better off doing that, she smiles weakly and then turns to Hatoko nodding, as if to reassure her that she was okay, they hadn't causes any physical harm towards her, so she would just be able to throw the issue over her head.

"Well, just forget about them, let's just focus on having fun today." Takeshi said with a smile. "We've still got the whole day ahead of us. Let's make use of it!"


"Come on Kaya-chan, let's go play in the water!" Hatoko said with excitement. "Have you ever been to the beach before Kaya-chan?" Well, I would assume so considering she's been trapped in that bottle for who knows how long. Takeshi thought to himself.

 

[Narumi]

Kayagami shook her head as she wanders over to the water with her. She places her foot in the water, the water was fresh and cool and made a shiver go up her spine. She hadn't been near water for a long time and she seemed quite curious as she wanders into the ocean that surrounded the beach.

"So how's the ocean?" Takeshi asked before joining her in the water. "It's refreshing isn't it?" He then put his hands under the water and brought them to splash Kayagami lightly in the face. "Ever been in a water fight before?" He said with a grin before getting splashed himself by Hatoko and Roboman. In response, he splashed back.
